This panic buying is ridiculous, had to go to 6 diff shops just to get loo roll

Nr out of loo roll. Weekly shop today. Aldi, tesco asda x2 and sainsburys had none I mean not even the cheap stuff or fancy patternwd type ones.

Luckily wilko had some.

Couldn't even get pasta, prob have to just get in costco not to bulk panic buy but in hope they have some. I just don't get it there as storage here is crap.

Infant formula, ds can only tolerate one. I norm buy 4 at a time. Struggled to get that even

Now I knew about the handwash etc and always have that anyway.
Tesco cleaning aisle was also bare except the likes of oven cleaner, polish.. Everything antibac or likewise was gone!

I just want to shop normally.

I went to the corner shop to buy an Easter egg for our school raffle and ended up buying 4 loo rolls as well. Superdrug have also got some antibac wipes and sensitive hand wash on line so I ordered 2 of each. Very low in price unlike on ebay but they probably won't last long.

@timetest eggs can be frozen. I don't do eggs so haven't done it myself but it's doable.

Got our delivery tonight - that we ordered over a week ago as only slot available.
No eggs.
No pork.
No lamb,
No mince.
No steak.
No rice.
No noodles.
No pepper sauce.
No fajita mix.
No beans.
No tomatoes.
No pasta.
No milk.
No fresh vegetables.

We've been forced to self isolate for 14 days. Next Tesco delivery is 4th April. No Asda, Sainsbury's or Iceland deliveries available.
What are we supposed to do?

Went to 4 different shops today including Costco and no toilet roll anywhere.

I think you're going to have to ask a local friend/family member to shop for you at a local shop (corner shops, for example) and leave it outside and tell them you'll do a bank transfer to their account.

Otherwise, ask on an FB local group and say you'll do a transfer. Offer to pay for petrol.

It's shit, but I can't see what other option there is.

My husband and I both work in areas quite far away from our home.
My parents and my sister are already in isolation.
It's a real quandary.
Got a friend of mine - who lives some distance away - picking up my medication for me when I run out next week.
Only lived in our house for a short while DJ don't really know anybody here.
Feeling a little bit helpless to be honest.
