Doesn’t look like there will be much land left for the Palestinians.

And in other news, from the Guardian:

“Israel’s defence minister has said he is committed to the ethnic cleansing of Gaza through large-scale migration of Palestinians as part of Israel’s long-term plans for the territory.
Israel Katz said the government would implement a plan for large numbers of Palestinians to leave Gaza “at the right time and in the right manner”, in a statement on Wednesday marking the targeted killing of Mohammed Odeh, Hamas’s most recent military commander.
Pushing for mass departures violates Donald Trump’s ceasefire plan for Gaza, which Israel signed last year. The second point of the plan states: “Gaza will be redeveloped for the benefit of the people of Gaza, who have suffered more than enough.”
Israel’s government has promoted the prospect of Gaza without Palestinians since Trump suggested early last year that hundreds of thousands of people should leave to “clean out” the strip for reconstruction.
Last year Israel set up a bureau for “voluntary emigration” and eased travel restrictions for Palestinians who wanted to make a one-way journey out of the strip.
The forced transfer of civilian populations is a war crime and a crime against humanity. Israeli officials, including Katz, use the term “voluntary migration” to describe their ”

Nobody addresses why the other Arab nations supposedly outraged about Palestinians doesn't take them in. Yasser Arafat actually an Egyptian by birth moves to Jordan with his Palestinians and they try to overthrow the King of Jordan and were expelled. Went to Lebanon where they started a civil war with the Christian population. Went to Kuwait where they were expelled for supporting Sadam Hussein. The Egyptians have built a huge wall to keep the Palestinians out which nobody talks about. They had their own problems with the Hamas offshoot The Muslim Brotherhood who took office some 15 years ago and were removed by the military. No way they want Hamas in Egypt. The Arab countries like Saudi, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain want to attract tourism and integrate with the US and the West. They don't want crazy Islamists.

Funny thing about that though is that they are all Islamic.

And actually, if you know anything about the Middle East at all, I think you will find that they don’t ALL want to integrate with the West and the US. You will find very vocal pockets all over the ME who would want anything but.

And from the BBC, incase you don’t trust sky:

The UN's Human Rights Office has condemned the high number of civilians killed in the war in Gaza, saying its analysis shows close to 70% of verified victims over a six-month period were women and children.
The agency said the high number was largely due to Israel's use of weapons with wide-area effects in densely populated areas

Have they mentioned who started a war with Israel? There's a quote by Commander Harris of the RAF otherwise known as "Bomber Harris" from WW2. "The Nazis started a war and thought there would be no consequences. They reaped the wind and sowed a whirlwind." Many innocent German civilians were slaughtered. Don't start wars. It won't go well especially if you start a war with Israel. You will lose.

DrPrunesqualer · 29/05/2026 18:39

They don’t need up go anywhere else
They have their own country

What's it got to do with other ‘Arab’ countries anyway.
Sounds like you are saying Islamic countries should take in others of the same religion. That they have some sort of automatic responsibility and are ‘all the same’

Sounds racist

YourAmplePlumPoster · 29/05/2026 18:42

If you study the history you will note that Israel has never started a war whereas the other Arab nations have attacked Israel on numerous occasions. After being defeated, Syria, Jordan and Egypt signed a peace treaty with Israel and it stands to this day.

It's normal for neighbouring countries to take in refugees. As I have explained the neighbours don't want them for historical reasons. Have you read anything about the history? Or my post?

BelleHathor · 29/05/2026 18:45

Extremely racist, and extremely reminiscent of laws that were enacted in the UK (1905 the Immigration Act) and America (1924 the Johnson-Reed Act) early in the 20th Century that specifically excluded the mass migration of a single ethnic group of Eastern Europeans that were being massacred in Russia due them being seen as "undesirable". It would have devastating consequences during WW2 with ships with fleeing refugees being turned away.

Conflicts Where Israel Struck First
The Suez Crisis (1956): Israel initiated the conflict by invading the Sinai Peninsula, acting in coordination with the United Kingdom and France. This action followed Egypt's nationalization of the Suez Canal and border blockades. 1, 2, 3, ]
The Six-Day War (1967): Israel launched a massive, preemptive aerial strike against Egypt’s air force. Israel argued this was a necessary act of self-preservation because Egypt had mobilized forces in the Sinai, closed the Straits of Tiran (an international waterway) to Israeli shipping, and formed military alliances with Jordan and Syria. Arab nations and other critics view this as a war of aggression. 1, 2, ]
The 1982 Lebanon War: Israel invaded Lebanon with the stated goal of pushing Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) fighters away from its northern border following repeated rocket attacks. 1]

Why on earth should Palestinians become refugees, where they have zero status, when they have Palestine to live in. Their own country? Bloody hell!

Funny thing about that though is that they are all Islamic.

They are Islam light these days. Some of them are saying they are not sending their young people to UK universities as radical Islamists are present there. They are intent on eradicating radical Islam. Nobody wants the nightmare that Isis inflicted on Syria. I have studied Arabic and had friends in Syria before the civil war. Nobody wanted Isis there.

LOL. One up man ship? I wouldn’t go there if I were you. I would blow your “I studied Arabic and have Syrian friends” out of the water.

This point seems to be ignored. If people saw Palestinians as anything except terrorists and cannon fodder they would realise they are a proud people with deep rooted ties to their homeland. They have lived under horrendous conditions for years but have stayed in the land they love.

Is that a joke? The BBC? I don’t trust them or sky. Please note that when a 17 year old hamas member gets killed in combat he’s listen as a child death. As I said in a previous post either on this thread or another, Hamas are laughing at you. They hide amongst civilians and when they manage to get them killed they know you’ll blame Israel. Unfortunately it’s war , a messy urban war and there are horrible casualties.

and just to add , the fact that you’re getting your news from bbc , sky etc , I don’t blame you for seeing things from the completely wrong angle. If these are the “facts” you’re given then it’s a natural follow on. I don’t think you have any clue what Isreal are dealing with either in Gaza or Lebanon/hezbollah.
