The top story in the BBC right now is the starvation of Gazans by Israel. The images are horrifying and not dissimilar to seeing those images of concentration camps in Nazi Germany. I cried seeing those and am crying now. I am sure someone will claim antisemitism because of this statement, but anyone looking at these images of starving children would agree.

How is this still going on? I feel like we are watching a genocide take place that the world has turning a blind eye to. The daily shooting by Israel of people trying to get aid too is just barbaric. If nothing is being done to stop this, what is the next horror that will unfold in the world that people will just accept?

Why would you come onto a thread about starving children and spread misinformation? Are you trying to justify their starvation? Why?

Bear in mind that it's the UN who simply delivered all their previous aid to Hamas.
This simply isn't true. Even Israel don't claim that this is true.

I don't know what to say anymore. After reading months and months of excuses and 'explanations' as to why israel are conducting this 'operation', I think it's clear that nothing will be done.

It's an appalling situation. I've been broadly supportive of Israel and I do think the situation on the ground is complex - different aid agencies, armed factions. It's obviously volatile and dangerous and that can't be helping with aid distribution. But there is clearly a systematic approach with things like baby formula which is just beyond cruel.

I do think that the BBC could have made its point better using a non-AI generated image.

The Express image is different to the BBC one, and is clearly not AI generated.

How can you deny that the Hamas attack was the catalyst to Gaza citizens suffering.

The UN is complicit with Hamas in making excuses and telling lies so as to not distribute the thousands of tonnes of aid sitting inside Gaza, deliberately engineering a fake famine but genuine starvation of Palestinians just to use as propaganda against Israel and shut down the GHF so Hamas can continue using aid as revenue and control.

This shows the desperation for Hamas to survive as they’ve just refused another ceasefire deal because they only want a one-sided one, and they have no other excuses.

And all the intellectually challenged and /or brainwashed Jew hating people around the world are happily falling for it.

I really think this is a pivotal movement in human history - this is a battle of good v evil on a biblical scale.

I can never forgive Labour for being complicit in this. I have cancelled my membership. What the fuck are they thinking? I am disgusted. It's hard to think straight. Every time I sit down to eat something, I think about the starving Palestinians. Humans and children who are being deliberately starved. You think people are upset about starving Palestinians because they hate Jews? That is some extreme mental gymnastics.

What about the Jewish people who are upset with the Israeli government for starving Palestinians. What could there motivation be?

She also seems to think that starving Palestinians is a battle of good vs evil ie the starving Palestinians are evil so one can only presume in her mind deserve to starved. It's worrying that such extremist views exist within the UK.

It's almost laughable how "stupid" they think that the general public is to fall for their propaganda and lies again and again...... As if people haven't been watching and recording the GHF saga unfolding (including in threads on mumsnet).

This is what happened:

1. The UN was presented with a proposal to "partnership" with the private company GHF (currently accused of killing and injuring 100s of Gazans seeking aid) . To accept this proposal would violate every core principle of the UN, so the UN rejects it.
2. Use online propagandists to blame the UN for the famine that we have all witnessed be deliberately engineered as a matter of Israeli/US policy.
3. Attempt to gaslight the world that the Israeli governments only concern is to prevent a famine but the "UN won't help".

Thankfully most of the world is wise to these tactics now and the pictures speak for themselves.
