How is forced starvation allowed?

The top story in the BBC right now is the starvation of Gazans by Israel. The images are horrifying and not dissimilar to seeing those images of concentration camps in Nazi Germany. I cried seeing those and am crying now. I am sure someone will claim antisemitism because of this statement, but anyone looking at these images of starving children would agree.

How is this still going on? I feel like we are watching a genocide take place that the world has turning a blind eye to. The daily shooting by Israel of people trying to get aid too is just barbaric. If nothing is being done to stop this, what is the next horror that will unfold in the world that people will just accept?

This is quite clearly criminal. How that's is being allowed to happen I don't know. I do think that there will be a price to pay for those involved.

Various issues can be important at once. By this reasoning we may as well never discuss anything ever apart from children dying...

And any humane person can do that without talking about it in racist terms.

But this person is only apparently intetested in children dying in one place and not others so perhaps children dying isnt actually the sole concern?

I dont dislike jewish people. Its nothing to do with religion. I like the nice kind jewish people that i know. I have lovely jewish friends who are amazing.

I dislike the killing of innocent children.

You don't know me or what ive done in my life. I have done a lot of volunteering in countries where children are suffering.

This is where the lines are blurry.
The aid is there waiting for distribution, both COGAT and the UN are holding this up.
The UN need to be able to deliver without fear of Israeli fire, Israel don’t want Hamas stealing the aid.

If you look at any threads about the Israel/ Gaza conflict on mumsnet, as soon as anyone (not just me) criticises Israel, they are called antisemetic.

Shani Louk's murder - "when I saw it on the news". Shani was a young woman, who was taken from the Nova festival, murdered, had her legs folded under her semi naked body and paraded around in a truck. She was spat on and the Gazan. crowd celebrated. As she was Israeli, a passing comment about her death will suffice. Then these posters wonder why they are called antisemitic.

Hamas murdered and tortured 1000s of innocent civilians and took 300 hostages. Ignoring that as the trigger for this war helps no-one. Hamas knew Israel would retaliate and used Gazan civilians as human shields. What Netanyahu is now doing is completely unforgivable, and the Israeli army must stop immediately. Both Israel citizens and Gazan citizens need snd deserve peace.

Article in paper today about Hamas widow leaving and taking substantial amounts of cash with her. This is a huge part of the problem though- Hamas have no problem with siphoning off funds and letting their own people starve. They see Western beliefs as weak and will exploit them anyway to meet their ends.
