This is just unbelievable. These ‘protesters’ are being given free rein to threaten and assault pro-Israelis (Jewish) because ‘there’s 500 of them and 2 of you’.

Police not interested in doing their job, which is upholding the law I thought?

Just sickening that this country has come to this.

I didn't say the answer should be assault. I said well done to the police for moving the agitators on. You wouldn't support the police in doing that though? You think people should be able to stand in a crowd of pro Israel people and shout fuck you at them while waving a Palestinian flag. That's fine if that's what you believe. Personally I don't think that that is an appropriate way to behave and I'm glad the police moved the Israelis on.

The people holding flags asked the police if they would address the people who attacked them. They offered to point them out.

They weren’t ‘agitators’ anymore than others with a flag, just in the minority.

The police said no there’s too many of them to keep you safe. We can’t deal with it.

In that case there’s something going wrong. We should have system where the people attacking are accountable not those who happen to be there.

If you can’t understand how the pro Palestine movement of today would trigger the victims of terror attacks you are obviously hard as nails or haven’t lost a relative to terrorism

That is ridiculous, a lot of innocent British people were killed by terrorism by the IRA yet London has one of the biggest saint patricks day parades in the world with thousands of irish flags and people are not triggered because anyone with any level of critical thinking will realise that the actions of one group doesn't reflect the views of an entire nation. There were no Palestinians even involved in the Manchester bombing.... is your problem the fact that they palestine is a largely Muslim country and you think all Muslims are terrorists?

Madcatdudette · 25/06/2025 15:04

RoseRR · 25/06/2025 14:52

Yes too basic. Go back to the history books.

And what will I find in the history books that doesn’t say Arabs are not the ones who have instigated conflict more than the Jewish?

Madcatdudette · 25/06/2025 15:01

If something speaks volumes to you, why should I add anything?
I answered all relevant questions. What else do you want?
Hasbara is losing its grip on the population, I believe it is now irreversible (for people’s opinions, the government actions will continue for some time against the public view).

Why would a pro Palestinian movement trigger families in the UK who were victims of an attack carried out in the UK by someone who has been radicalised by the Syrian war?

You’re going to have to explain that one, there’s no logical connection whatsoever.

I don’t think people care about these ‘Hasbara’ slurs I see on here.

They don’t support the recent terrorist activity over whatever this is meant to represent though.

I purposefully didn’t mention the IRA because the older generation on both sides have endured losses. Losses we still haven’t got the full answer to after all these years.
You are also missing or refusing to acknowledge that the terrorist was Islamic the same as Hamas.
Terrorist attacks on British soil should not be tolerated. If you think Brize Norton was merely just a new paint job you are mistaken.

You will find a better understanding of the conflict which is incredibly complex and cannot be reduced to one side being the good guys and the other side being the baddies.

Yes, most people don’t support terrorist activities, agree. Be it car bombings, pager explosions, etc.
Paint on planes is not terrorism.

You’re at odds with the law and fortunately that’s what counts.

No that’s a cop out. Tell me really basically, like you’re explaining to a five year old.

You do know that it was an Islamist that carried out the attack?
You do know that Islamist militants are the number one threat to UK soil?
You do know that the Hamas charter wants ‘Zionist’s’ eradicated?
You do know that Iran has always wished death to the west and Israel?
Do you knot see that the ‘pro Palestine’ movement is about as effective for peace as the Britain first marches?

No more than Iran with it’s systemic removal of women’s rights

Israel controls about 15mn people. Only about 8mn have rights. 5mn are being dispossessed and about 2mn are being exterminated.

I think you’ll find that British citizens definitely see the Brize Norton shit show an act of terrorism.
You know why it was so easy for them? Because the majority of British people would not contemplate trespassing on army territory.

Some British citizens-sure. Most British citizens would also not throw soup on works of art, nor glue themselves to the road. Is this now terrorism too?

But then again, I don’t live in the UK. Which I am very pleased about.
