The EU is asking for de-escalation and continued dialogue.

I don’t care at this stage if they have acted illegally- I can understand why they would want to give the actions of those on their doorstep

But arguing against the wisdom of the UK getting directly involved is not "supporting the Iranian regime".

Unless you think there can only be two types of governments in the world: those we actively support and those we go to war against.

Israel does what noone else dares to but who's going to stop them. Even the relationship with America doesn't seem to have any influence.

This might be an appropriate moment to remind people, AGAIN sigh that the reason the murderous, barbaric Iranian regime is there in the first place is because Britain and America scuppered Iran's last hope of enlightened democracy by staging a coup in 1953, then spent two decades propping up a corrupt military dictatorship against the will of the Iranian people, to protect their oil interests.

What amazes me is how they managed to go "precision strikes" in Iran to remove commanders but apparently needed to raze Gaza to the ground to deal with Hamas (whilst also bull dozing settlements in the West Bank as nobody pays attention).

The Iranian regime are pure evil towards their own people as well as massive funders of terrorism and wanting to wipe Israel off the map. The thought of them having nuclear weapons is terrifying. I’m thankful to Israel for taking action to make us all safer and hopefully enable the Iranian people to overthrow the brutal theocrats in power.

Across Iran, everyone is coming out together to stand against the instigators of this conflict - Israel. How do I know this beyond whats in the news - I have family all across Iran and the wider region in literally every city and town you can reel off from Wikipedia.

Wonder if the people on the Iran march realise that Iran is a massive backer of Russia in Putin’s war in Ukraine. I’d really laugh if I saw some Ukrainian flags being waved at the march - it really wouldn’t surprise me.

Please can I ask what ordinary Iranians think of Israel’s actions in the Middle East over the 600 days and does this influence their thinking about what is happening now in their country?

A lot lies in the hands of ordinary Iranians now- given this may really destabilise their country.

There is nothing like being bombed for bringing a county together because people start to hate the people killing their friends and family
