No. These are refugees from when the people were forced to leave their homes in Palestine. The only item they could take was the keys to their old Palestinian home and what happened to their old homes? They were forced to leave their country. If you really want to travel back in time then we could look at all the massacres Arabs carried out on Jewish villages dating back to at least the 1500s, or maybe we could look at the hundreds of years that non-muslims were forced to live in dhimmitude, subservience and slavery to Muslims in that area
