Most of the posters here could do with taking that advice tbh.
It should be possible to have a discussion without demonising other posters and conferring an imaginary (and offensive) moral stance upon them based on a deliberate misinterpretation of their posts.
I'm not asking anyone to back up their charge that a poster criticising Hamas' abhorrent strategy of maximising civilian deaths and injuries is therefore defending the bombing of civilians in humanitarian safe zones because
a) that accusation is completely batshit and intended to provoke so I can choose not to engage with the goad.
and
b) moral judgement and condemnation tend to be the primary objectives of so many of these threads, regardless of what someone actually said, that no-one could be bothered to read properly before making their one-sided assumptions. Sadly, I suspect that won't change.
