Yes, they may be all that, but what does that make Israel? For every baby murdered on oct there will be hundreds of Palestinian babies murdered. By the Israeli government. So what does that make them?

Hamas carried out this attack because they are sick genocidal jew haters who have stated again and again that they want to kill all Jews. If there is some plausible reason, perhaps enlighten us? Nobody made them rape and disembowel people, bake babies in an oven, record and celebrate the fact. Nobody made them show a child hostage the footage of his own family members being murdered. Good god, did you really ask that question?

The vast majority of Palestinians in both Gaza and the West Bank support Hamas.

These "ordinary Palestinians" followed the jeep with Shani Louk's mutilated corpse in the back, spitting on her. Celebrated October 7. Went along with the terrorists to loot the kibbutzes. Banged on the cars taking child hostages to freedom. Lynched two of their own whom they suspected of being informants.

In decent society, we expect an elected government to have standards and uphold international law.

We expect terrorists to behave like murdering thugs.

The lines have been blurred in this war like nothing we have seen for a long long time. And Netanyahu must be held accountable for this.

Out of the people Hamas killed 25% of them were non civillians. Israels rate is far, far lower than that. Does that make Israel less moral than a terrorist organisation? Israel left babies to literally rot in a hospital, what is that if not barbaric? Israel have left children to have limbs amputated without anesthetic what is that if not sadistic? Israel have been starving an entire population of food and water, what is that if not attempted genocide.

if you agree that Israel have a right to defend themselves by killing 1000s and 1000s of Palestinian citizens, then you must also agree that Hamas had a right to kill 900 civilians to protect Palestinians that Israel has been murdering all year long.

Israeli settlers are terrorising and murdering Palestinians in the West Bank as we speak. It doesn't mean we should bomb all their houses. That's not a normal response.

I would agree with you, but would also add- from reflection of what others have posted, that Israel is in a difficult and dark place after 7/10 and criticism and scrutiny of her government’s actions. There is also increase in Antisemitism.

It must be very difficult to hold onto one’s pain but also understand the pain of the other side.

It's strange how it revolts people when someone talks about killing Israeli citizens in the name of 'protection', yet they will repeat over and over again that Israel can do just that to Palestinians in the name of 'protection'.

All the posters going on about how awful and racist Hamas are (absolutely agreed) but conveniently ignoring that the Israeli govt put out a multitude of genocidal and racist statements against Palestinians on a regular basis.

I know OP sick to the stomach...never ending genocide and they get away with everything....

I would like to, as sensitively as possible, ask 3 questions to those of you who think that Israel’s response is justified:

1. what impact do you think the last 75 years of occupation has had on the people of Gaza?
2. I understand that Israel at one point in recent history supported Hamas? Why?
3. if Hamas goal is to end all Jews, why have they not just killed the hostages? And why do you think they are only asking to exchange them for prisoners who are young, woman or children?

This is disgusting. You are here absolving Hamas of responsibility for Oct 7th and blaming Israeli Jews for the torture, rape and murder committed against them.

I have woken up alright. I’ve woken up to people like you. People who have so lost their moral compass, so lost sight of the humanity of all humans, that they observe a mass atrocity and still side with the murderers and blame the victims simply based on the race or nationality of the victims.

You need to stop and reflect on who are the people throughout history that aligns you with.

I think you need a reality check if you can't take someone posting facts and just want to post on all the threads projecting your hate.

Do any pro Israel posters on any of these threads accept that Israel is targeting and murdering civilians and that this is bad?

Or is that only a bad thing to do when the victims are Israeli?

I should caveat the above by being clear in saying that I do not support Hamas nor do i completely disagree that Israel have to do something. I’m just not quite understanding some of the rhetoric.
