Conflict in the Middle East

Jeremy Corbyn on Piers Morgan

Just watched the trainwreck Jeremy Corbyn interview. I sometimes find it a bit annoying myself the way Piers talks over people when I want to hear what the guest has to say. However, surely Corbyn knows Piers' interview style? This is an experienced politician, and the question was very predictable. Had he not prepared an answer? Other guests manage the quick-fire style, still manage to get their point across and remain professional and confident - they don't just slump behind the table and sulk! Did he really think PM was going to say 'Oh, you're right! this interview style that's earned me millions is actually just bad journalism. I'll listen respectfully while you have your say and then you can ask me some questions'?

I’m not sure Corbyn ever thinks strategically or pragmatically. He’s just like an over-earnest sixth-former who’s enamoured of an overly-simplistic but emotive viewpoint and clings to it regardless of any other consideration or evidence. Maybe he’s so in love with the romantic notion that Hamas are noble freedom fighters that he thinks his approach is ok/right/true. Despite all evidence to the contrary.

Corbin came across as a pathetic boyfriend who's losing in an argument against his young girlfriend. Especially if you replace the question with "Did you sleep with her?" (If that makes sense?)

"You're shouting" classic narc shutdown.

"Let me speak"

Lots and lots of eye rolling and sitting back in the chair with his arms crossed. Big sighs.

Aggressive pointing.

"C'mon you answer that" - um no YOU answer the question.

I watched the clip a couple of times. Thank god he was never our prime minister!

I've noticed a lot of sulking on that side of the house. I just can't have any faith in leaders who sulk. It's their job to answer difficult questions, without whining that they're being bullied.

He doesn't think Hamas is a terrorist organisation hence he didn't want to answer the question.

He has said in the past it was a colossal mistake to list them as a terrorist organisation and obviously famously referred to members of Hamas as friends.

No way would he say something now that implied he'd ever been wrong in his assessment.

"You're shouting" classic narc shutdown.

Well tbf, Piers was shouting.

But I agree that Corbyn is crap.

Yes, Corbyn shouts over the guests in every interview. When it's just an ordinary member of the public getting humiliated, it can be a bit cringe. These two should have been able to handle it, however. When he interviewed the democrat US candidate for the presidency, he really went for her over the trans issue, and she wasn't flustered at all, and kept smiling. If you can't handle these situations, you shouldn't go for leadership roles in public office.

Firstly Piers Morgan is a terrible interviewer and doesn't seem like a nice person in general. However he could have given Jez all the time in the world but he would never have said Hamas are terrorists

Jez and his brother are antisemitic fuckwits and hate their own white middle class western selves. So much so they try to put the west down at every opportunity and Jez fan boys terrorists

Trulywonderful · 16/11/2023 23:12

An antisemitic mural

What the artist said and Jez praised him for:

“some of the older white Jewish folk in the local community had an issue with me portraying their beloved #Rothschild or #Warburg etc as the demons they are”.

Trulywonderful · 16/11/2023 23:13

Jeremy Corbyn was faced questions about his personal attitudes towards Jews after the circulation of a video in which he accuses the BBC of being 'biased towards' saying that 'Israel has a right to exist'.

noblegiraffe · 16/11/2023 23:14

I'll never forget Corbyn saying that we should submit a sample of Novichok to Russia so that they confirm whether or not it was theirs. And refused to condemn Assad when he gassed his own people.

Very reluctant to accept wrongdoing on the part of certain countries while not requiring such stringent evidence when it's others.

Trulywonderful · 16/11/2023 23:16

Corbyn has never answered for his stance on Kosovo, nor has he acknowledged the mass displacement and systemic murders of Kosovar Muslims that took place.

From Kosovo, we move on to Iran. There's been more coverage of Corbyn’s time as a presenter on the regime mouthpiece Press TV channel – for his work from 2009-2012, he was paid around $27,000.

Corbyn tends to insist that he used the opportunity of appearing on Tehran TV to challenge the human rights record of Iran, a regime that routinely murders political opponents, created and supports Hezbollah and a plethora of other violent Islamist terror groups, and has restricted religious freedoms to the point that Bahais, Zoroastrians, Jews, Christians and other faith adherents have fled the monstrous regime leaving few traces of their long history and heritage.

Corbyn went on Press TV to promote his anti western views. He said nothing against Iranian regime's xenophobia & human rights abuses.

Thus his warm welcome to his "friends" in Hamas and Hezbollah. Thus his laying a wreath on the graves of two members of Black September, the perpetrators of the Munich massacre against Israeli Olympic participants.

Well presumably Corbyn thinks that extracting confessions from Iranian dissidents by torture and broadcasting the confessions on Press TV isn't "brutal" or "unnecessary". He carried on working for Press TV after they lost their UK broadcasting license for doing that after all.

Jez described Raed Salah as an honoured citizen he'd like to invite to tea in Parliament, moments after the room heard that Raed Salah says Jews steal babies to drain their blood and consume in secret Jewish ceremonies?

Jez said the Islamic State’s beheading of Alan Henning, a British aid worker, was “the price of jingoism.”

Trulywonderful · 16/11/2023 23:20

Oh I could post all night about what a total vile fuckwit Jez Corbyn actually is

Should go on Mastermind with the Jez's fuckwittery as my specialist subject

He and most the Free Palestine lot weren't that bothered when Assad did this either, no Jews

Jeremy Corbyn is a terrorist sympathiser. Has always been and I suspect always will be. He sympathises with any group that is anti English/British. So bizarre. I wonder what happened in his childhood or teenage years that made him so.

Neither Boris Johnson nor Rishi Sunak ever answer the question they are asked in PMQ.

Because our government wasn't supporting this and encouraging it to continue. We were all on the same page to see how horrific this was.

It's not a case of Jewish people kill someone and its bad, but Arab or Chinese people do and it's fine

I have often wondered this too

Startrekkeruniverse · 16/11/2023 23:43

Vile little man who hates Jews. Thank Christ he was never our prime minister. All I can hope is that he crawls back into whatever hole he came from.

Plus Jez and his little fan club

Oh and our government did do business and suck up to China whilst they did horrible things to Muslims there. However barely condemned it.

It's being on the hard left. They will automatically take the anti-imperialist anti-west side.

Russia, the IRA, Syria, Iran, Hamas.... you'll find some story about Jeremy with all of them.

noblegiraffe · 17/11/2023 00:29

Talking about Russia I suddenly wondered what Corbyn’s opinion on the invasion of Ukraine was, because anti-imperialism dictates he would side with Russia. And I got top story: ‘Corbyn urges West to stop sending arms to Ukraine’.

I’d forgotten about NATO being blamed for Russia invading Ukraine too.

Trulywonderful · 17/11/2023 00:32

Very true about Jez and his alliances Giraffe. Easy to find photos and interviews to back that up

I get the very left are like this. However I do wonder about what happened to make him quite so appauling

Also whenever any organisation, event or protest has him as speaker most the general public take it those listening to him hold the same views and prejudices. Therefore it is rather baffling to me that anyone would let him do a speech if they want to be taken seriously by Joe public
