POAS this morning and got BFN. Well at least I can have a good drink on my hols now although not looking forward to AF's arrival whilst away Sad

Zidonie pee buddy, have ou POAS yet?

Tamashii · 06/08/2010 07:38

Looks like it's all over for me this month. AF has popped in for a visit n will likely stay the week. I am soooooo disappointed :(
Oh well, won't have to test tomorrow n I can get wellied on Saturday night now. Sigh...

Best of luck to you all - will check back jealously for BFP's :) Might catch the May bus at the next stop but am too upset to get back into it all yet. Have a fab weekend ladies and here's to a deluge of BFP's asap!

Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

sillybillymummy · 06/08/2010 07:53

Oh dear ladies, sorry to hear your news. Maybe see you on the may bus

Just enjoy the boozey weekend

Wombat33 · 06/08/2010 09:38

See you on the May bus (I'm kind of stradling two buses at the moment becuase this cycle gives me an estimated due date of end April/early May and I wasn't sure of dates when I joined MN!) Blush

No news here, SWI like mad, had smiley face on the OPK for three days in a row Confused - what's that all about?! Saw a genetic counsellor yesterday about various things. Got another appointment on Monday but so far so reassuring on a condition in DH's family (but not him). Now for a weekend of trying to pretend there's a non-ttc-related reason why I'm not drinking at the dinner I'm going to on Sat or the lunch on Sun! Wish me luck!

saffronbun · 06/08/2010 10:11

Sorry ladies, you need a new driver - I'm off too, hopefully won't see ANY of you on the May bus due to you all getting BFPs before then!

Good luck my lovelies :) x

Karstan · 06/08/2010 10:34

[Stretches, runs to the back seat to wave at the bus behind], loads of room on here now ladies. Getting kind of worried I'll be left here with a bus full of chocolate and no one else and I don't need that sort of temptation! So feel free to take your snacks with you, and fingers crossed you won't just be changing buses.

LadyGoneGaga · 06/08/2010 10:35

Just updating da bus n- hope have done it right! Mama you is the driver.

Bye ladiesSad Drink conspicuously so your MIL (and anyone else who needs to see you consume alcohol) sees it.

Karstan, I'll help you eat the chocolate while I'm still on the bus. Just a couple more days though...

OverThePond · 06/08/2010 19:21

Just did some math... I'm officially one day late Grin. But have to wait for Sunday to test because promised DH would not test without him, and have house guests arriving before he gets home from work. [frustrated face].

Would I be a bad person for popping out to get a test and disposing of the evidence?

Karstan · 06/08/2010 19:23

Justifiable i think.

Either you get a BFN and don't tell him, or you get a BFP and in the excitement such promises as waiting to test together will soon be forgotten

ljg72 · 06/08/2010 19:33

OTP TEST!!!!Smile

sillybillymummy · 06/08/2010 21:22

PLEASE TEST! Take one for the team! We need some BFP's!!!!

theteasonme · 07/08/2010 10:17

Morning ladies Smile

Did you test OTP ? I really hope it's a BFP. I'm counting myself as 5 dpo but DH would need super long lasting sperm to have fertilised my little egg as we were on our SA sex embargo when I ovulated - typical! On the plus side this looks like a relatively short cycle for me though, it'll probably be a 34/35 dayer rather than the 45/50 I've been enjoying recently. xx

LadyGoneGaga · 07/08/2010 12:13

teas 4 dpo for me so we can be almost cycle buddies. If you do get a BFP it will more than likely be a girl you know. Glad your cycles seem to be sorting themselves out!

LadyGoneGaga · 07/08/2010 12:16

Anyone else testing this weekend?

Zidonie · 07/08/2010 16:56

Sorry I couldn't write earlier, I was hyperventilating!

I got my BFP on Friday Smile

The line was very faint on an internet cheapie, I could barely see it, but then I took a First Response in the afternoon and had two beautiful pink lines.

Sorry to see you off my pee buddies Mylittlebubble and Tamashi and good luck in the next buses!

Wombat33 · 07/08/2010 18:02

Congrats Zidonie!! Fantastic news. We need more happy bfps!

I'm now officially on the 2ww and random symptom spotting already, even though it's WAY too early! What am I like? :)

sillybillymummy · 07/08/2010 18:36

That is GREAT news Zidonie Congratulations!!!

Well i was very sillybilly today and did a test.. only because i woke up feeling sick / tired and i have 2 in the house, which is always a temptation - anyway BFN - don't know why i was thinking any different! its way too early, i MUST try and wait another week!

caramellokoalalover · 07/08/2010 19:23

Hooray! congratulations zidonie!! That's fantastic!

silybilly - oh dear, the lure of the stick is strong! But now you only have 1 left so will be easier to wait another week. Some strange logic at work there? Hmm

Never too early for a bit of symptom spotting wombat Wink

youngblowfish · 07/08/2010 20:30

Congratulations Zidonie! That is such wonderful news!

I caved in and bought the First Response tests a couple of days ago. I really want to POAS tomorrow morning, two days before AF is due and 13DPO. Should I, should I not? On the box the manufacturers claim that in clinical tests 99% of women had an accurate result 2 days before AF Hmm. I am random symptom spotting all the time, but mostly just feeling really tired. Wombat, at least you started symptom spotting after your ovulation Blush.

Sillybilly, keeping my fingers crossed for a nice BFP in a weeks time! Actually, I want to see BFPs all around Grin.

BenignNeglect · 07/08/2010 20:32

Congratulations zidonie.

caramellokoalalover the lure is indeed strong. But i have a kind DH who has -stolen- removed my tests from sight and hidden them. :o

BenignNeglect · 07/08/2010 20:32

Bugger. stolen

sillybillymummy · 07/08/2010 20:33

yes some logic caramel! (she says, as she shimmies up to the front of the bus, and asks the driver to stop at the next chemist so she can stock up!)

theteasonme · 07/08/2010 21:33

Ooh, Zidonie cycle 10! Congratulations my love, that is super duper news indeed. May you have a relaxing and uneventful 9 months ahead of you Smile

I'm not charting this month so there's nothing to stop me from early testing. I, too, have many an internet cheapy and 2 FR stashed away in the cupboard. I'd actually just like to get to the point where I feel like maybe I should use one! Smile

OverThePond · 07/08/2010 21:54

So, managed to hold out until this morning when I ambushed DH in the bathroom, PdOAS and held breath for 2 minutes while unsuspecting houseguests slept in. Got a BFN, so now am cantankerous and wretchedly waiting for AF who is two days late and counting. Guess I'm not as regular as I'd thought. Angry

Congratulations Zidonie such wonderful news. Smile
