Thanks caramel. That's what I thought too. If you discard it it shows no ovving yet. Think might have to wait another day or two to see what temp does but nasty feeling its going to be anovulatory ..in spite of the boob issues!

Think open circles are due to time took temp - hard to be consistent due to DS and co-sleeping.

caramellokoalalover · 04/08/2010 16:13

I have to admit to lying to FF about the time I take my temp as, same as you, it's not possible to take it at exactly the same time each day. I take it within an hour timeframe though and it doesn't seem to affect things too much. Hope your temp stays up over the next couple of days!

Wombat33 · 04/08/2010 16:46

Hi all! Bye to all the ladies stepping off the bus. See you on the May bus!

Sorry I've been away a while. I sent a long post on Sunday, but it doesn't seem to have posted I don't think. Have been away for my anniversary so plenty of SWI opportunity.

Sillybilly I'm with you though - reproductive sex is not my fav kind, and it's only out first month TTC! As my DH said yesterday, it's a bit strange to decide to do it before getting the urge to do it, rather than the other way around iyswim. Still, CD16 here and just got a smiley face on the OPK so not long now until I'm on the 2WW and we're back to SFF only when we really feel in the mood.

Karsten I agree though the novelty of not having to faff with condoms hasn't worn off though!

caramel and ladygonegaga I know what you mean about temping each day at the same time. I'm not using FF, just a plain chart from Boots, but temps seem to make absolutely no sense at all this month despite trying to take them when I wake up to go to the loo at 6am before going back to sleep for an hour or so. Am hoping that I can rely on the OPK this month. Have some EWCM as well... I think... it's a bit hard to tell.

Ugh. I'm going to be awful on the 2WW. I hope you ladies don't mind stopping me trying to test at 1dpo and every day after that until AF arrives!

Youngblowfish - re mojitos - while I was on hols I was designated driver one eve so I asked for a virgin mary (i.e. bloody mary without the alcohol) but the waitress misheard me and brought me a virgin mojito and it was delicious!!! Lime juice, mint, sugar syrup and soda water - all the ingredients of a usual mojito but without the rum! I made a mental note, because if when I get pg, it will be a really good substitute. Might have it on the 2WW too!

busymum05 · 04/08/2010 17:59

Hi everyone, Im very sad to say i will be hopping off the bus and will be waiting for the october bus!!!!
I have had a nightmare, i thought i got 1st AF after MC in may on 16/07 but due to non stop spotting and random heavy clots sorry TMI i have been back to EPU today and was scanned, the outcome is that they think i have polyps, i have to wait 4 weeks to have this confirmed then to have them removed, i have decided to stop SWI as apparently polyps can effect fertility, it makes implantation very difficult, therefore i have decided to take the pressure off for a while and enjoy life for couple of months before it all starts again!!!
Goodluck to everyone TTC in the best intentions i do not want to see any of you on the oct bus!!!

Wanttofly · 04/08/2010 18:09

Hi
I think i might be pg!

My last AF was on 27th June, it still not here but i have done two test and both -ive. i'm normaly on time every 28 days.

I feel little sick and my tummy is hard but not really hurting. It kind of feels tight.

I already have DS and i feel the same as i did with him but the test are -ive.

So could i be pg or should i go to the doctors?

Karstan · 04/08/2010 18:13

Bye bye busymum05

I had polyps removed earlier this year in May, they were discovered before we were ttc. All fairly straightforward so don't worry about that side of things too much.

ravenlocks · 04/08/2010 18:20

Thanks for all the nice goodbyes and the gooey chocolate brownie! I must admit I am feeling more positive already compared to this morning when I was soooo upset. Here are the postives to my very unwelcome early AF:

  • My cycle was shorter than I expected, meaning that horrible 35 day cycle was a blip.
  • If AF hadn't come until Friday or later I would be in the same position (ie not pregnant) but futher away from my next SWI opportunity
  • I have lots of social stuff happening in August, birthdays, family do's, trip to the Edinburgh festival etc and now I don't have to make excuses not to drink and look soo obvious
  • I think I know where I 'went wrong' which I can only learn from (basically misread an OPK on CD13)
  • I know my body/ cycle even better now
  • I just love sushi was able to eat loads of it today with no guilt

Onwards and upwards. Will keep on reading the thread for BFPs!!

Wombat33 · 04/08/2010 18:39

Ooh wanttofly that sounds exciting. I haven't got any insight for you but good luck!

Bye ravenlocks, we hope to have some more BFPs for you to read soon!

Sorry you're having such a nightmare busymum. Good luck and see you in October!

sillybillymummy · 04/08/2010 21:58

Ravenlocks - really sorry you are leaving, see you on next bus probably

Caramel & Lady your posts have been making me grope my boobies - DH keeps giving me funny looks!

wanttofly that sounds like pg. Maybe got to wait a few more days for +ve?

busymum good idea to take the pressure off and get all sorted and ready to go in a few months - just enjoy the summer (apart from the polys op obviously)

Wombat Not sure when i OV'd (or if i have) but say it was the average 14, then i am 7 DPO and already can't wait to test, its stupid. I must hang on! For atleasst another week.

Bring on the BFP'S!!!

theteasonme · 04/08/2010 22:26

Hi ladies. I handed a pot of DH's sperm to a stranger behind a desk today. Thankfully I managed to fish it out of my bra in the lift...

Top day

Zidonie · 04/08/2010 22:51

theteasonme before you know it you'll be discussing you DH's sperm on mumsnet...

My stats are wrong I'm affraid, I'm on CD25. I'll be POAS on Friday morning to make sure I can drink party in the evening. Any peeing buddy around here?

Mylittlebubble · 05/08/2010 07:16

Zidonie I'll be your pee buddy .

Af due next Tuesday but we are going on holiday on Saturday and I also want to know if I can have a drink relax whilst we are away.

I have had really bad cramps all week so if AF does make an appearance I think she gonna be from hell. Not great when you have a week by the pool planned!!

Tamashii · 05/08/2010 08:19

On the subject of "boob groping", I def didn't have to do any prodding or groping when I was PG with DS... They literally felt like boulders dragging on my bra straps and it was mainly agonisingly sensitive NIPPLES that was the main sign (that I missed completely as, of course, we weren't officially TTC when I found out I was PG).

If AF does not appear by Saturday I am going to be POAS buddy too! Just a little later than you guys because Friday is just too early for me. I am really struggling not to test - especially now that Ravenlocks has left the bus!!!!

Good luck for the BFP's before the weekend

caramellokoalalover · 05/08/2010 09:20

Morning all. Hope you had a lovely anniversary wombat, perfect for making babies. Did the trick for me with DS anyway .

Sorry you've been having such a rough time busymum05. Best of luck when you climb back onboard.

Loving your positivity ravenlocks, I might need to complete a list like that for myself and have it close by for if AF appears.

twowoulddo · 05/08/2010 09:35

Hi all, I've been absent for a while as the waiting for AF to vanish ws doing my head in. Am now CD25 and 6DPO. Have a stash of internet cheapies ready to hand! I'm trying to wait until 10DPO even though AF won't be due for another 4 days at that point but what's the harm?!

LadyGoneGaga · 05/08/2010 09:56

two woulddo The harm is it will most likely mess with your head because you will either get a BFN in which case you will a. depress yourself and b. won't believe it anyway because it's too early. If you do get a BFP you expose yourself to the risk of picking up a chemical pg you may otherwise have known nothing about.

Or you could get a BFP but would be literally shitting yourself until you are properly due anywase. All mental making activities if you ask me. Try and wait a bit longer if you can? I refuse to test until length of my second longest cycle (had one freak 40 so I don't wait that long!)

But up to you anyway, just my point of view . Have you got symptoms btw?

twowoulddo · 05/08/2010 12:40

Hi LadyGoneGaga, I'm pretty chilled out about it all for some reason. I don't actually think I'm pregnant, no symptom spotting going on that's for sure!

I had no idea last time either though to be fair, just a very absent period!

Will see how I fare. My decision is influenced by the fact that we're going to stay with family for 8 days the day AF is due and we got the last BFP in same circumstance and it nearly killed us trying to keep schtum and not being able to even talk to each other about it! I'd prefer to know ahead. Also, it is my birthday on 21st so obviusly want to know by then (but would know by then anyway as would be 8 days late).

LadyGoneGaga · 05/08/2010 13:49

Well good luck in any case. Hope you get two lines! I'm tempted to POAS on my birthday (cd31) so I know whether I can drink or not but I think it's too early. Will see if any convincing symptoms!

Wanttofly · 05/08/2010 14:51

Still no AF. I will test again on Saturday and if still -ive go see the doctor.

Its also cool that i found out today that my sister is 2 weeks gone thru IVF so if i am pg then we will both have babies in April

OverThePond · 05/08/2010 16:26

So many hopping off the bus . [lobs picnic basket of California zinfandel, sushi, prosciutto and melty cheeses at May bus-stop for ladies waiting to get on]

I am waiting to POAS until Sunday, unless AF trounces in like the trollop she is. Insane SS has begun; the list:

  1. absolutely bizarre dream in which I am enrolled in a dolly dinkle toddler ballet class then riding a tricycle along a cliff to the pool when I accidentally push a man off the cliff and dragging him back up remove his trousers.
  1. no usual signs of AF's arrival = the symptom-free symptom.
  1. tired.
sillybillymummy · 05/08/2010 17:30

Overthepond you just made me laugh lots - your dream sounds funny!

Good luck to those testing in the next few days. I have to wait another WEEK!!

saffronbun · 05/08/2010 17:54

Okay so I caved in and POAS and it was (of course) BFN. I probably should have tested a day later and in the morning but it's clearly not gonna happen this month for me. Can I please drive the bus until AF arrives tomorrow?

caramellokoalalover · 05/08/2010 17:59

Not sure if that dream sounds scary or hilarious overthepond!

sillybilly - same as you, a week to go before I can sensibly test(14dpo). AF would usually come this Saturday though in a normal cycle (short luteal phase) so we'll see...not feeling pregnant today .

caramellokoalalover · 05/08/2010 17:59

Take the wheel saffron!

sillybillymummy · 05/08/2010 22:48

I don't feel pregnant either
Apart from i am really moody and hormonal (which i'm not normally)

AF due a week saturday for me i think, i am working a 12 hour shift that day (and AF's are really nasty atm) Booo

Go on Saffron, drive carefully, who knows how many pregnant women you have on board!
