I NEVER knew that the orgasm is what sucks it in there...
Can anyone remember me writing about our lunch time SWI... well i didn't orgasm! If i had known this information - i would have wait until we had more time in the evening and gone for it. I thought it was a case of getting the job done!

youngblowfish · 03/08/2010 23:03

I just wanted to wave bye to all the ladies already on the May bus. Best of luck! I have a feeling that I may be joining you soon as I think my PMT is in full swing and it usually appears a week before AF. So nothing out of the ordinary to report, sadly, apart from wanting to whine and having a go at DH for going shopping ('I never buy these eggs'), cleaning the carpet ('Honey, the fumes are.. '), taking too long to cook dinner and sexist adverts appearing on TV. I don't know why he would want a baby which would inevitably turn out be half human and half pure evil.

Anyway, on the matter of sex and enjoyment thereof, sillibillymummy, I don't really understand why your mate enjoys SWI the best. I also enjoy the 2nd and 3rd kind much more, so I just tend to pretend that SWI isn't what it really is. I remind myself of my favourite fantasy, wear DH's favourite underwear, dress up or just get him drunk ;). I realise it may sound odd, but it is a little game I play with myself to stop the boredom from setting in.

I am still holding out hope for a BFP this month, but if it does not happen I'd love to: 1) go for a run and push myself really hard 2) eat lots of sushi 3) have a mojito.

OverThePond · 03/08/2010 23:25

youngblowfish wait, are we supposed to stop exercising? Could that be what I'm doing wrong? I've been running, cycling, doing yoga and generally training for a triathlon...

Sushi and a drink it is then...if I can manage to hold out until Sunday.

youngblowfish · 04/08/2010 00:29

OverThePond, I think gentle exercise is encouraged, especially if you have already established a routine.

I don't really have an exercise routine, I just go for punishing runs every now and then (maybe 4-5 times a month) and love the feeling of being completely exhausted at the end of them. Apparently, jerky, jumpy activities should be avoided though, so I am putting them on hold until I know.

Having said that, I don't feel qualified to give you any sort of reliable advice - it is probably best if you speak to your doctor.

OverThePond · 04/08/2010 04:45

YBF thanks. Feeling better about my routine now.

ravenlocks · 04/08/2010 07:01

How depressed am I?! AF arrived first thing this morning, two days early!

Am extremely pissed off. Was quite confident this month after I thought I had pin pointed Ov and done the deed 5 times in the flipping fertile window. Jesus.

So am hopping off the bus. Hate failing!!!

ravenlocks · 04/08/2010 07:45

Selfishly forgot to say goodbye to all and wish you all much better luck than me this cycle! Xx

youngblowfish · 04/08/2010 08:31

ravenlocks, I'm so sorry that AF got you . Hope you enjoy the ride on the May bus and good luck!

overthepond I did ask my gp about the whole exercise thing. Her advice was just to carry on as normal while ttc-ing. She didn't even specify the gentle bit, she said the only thing she'd advise against is drastically increasing activity levels but everything else is fine. I cycle 14 miles everyday (commute) and swim about 9 km a week so was pleased to hear that. I'd hate to be feeling bleurgh because of lack of exercise on top of getting af and being disappointed about that

Tamashii · 04/08/2010 09:17

Awwww NOOOOO ravenlocks I'm so for you. Will probs see you on the May bus in a few days myself. No PG symptoms at all but sneaky PMT symptoms setting in including crying at everything. No boob tenderness or sore nipples and I remember that being the no1 early PG symptom.

I may be sitting at the front of the bus but my cycle length is so unpredictable ATM that I won't feel excited at all until the weekend. If AF has not arrived by then I will likely be getting out the Pregnancy Bible AGAIN and looking at the cute 21 weeks pic going all soppy

Good luck again to one and all!

Bicnod · 04/08/2010 10:31

Hi ladies

this bus is moving very fast and I'm struggling to keep up but just wanted to pop in and say that after 8, yes 8 SWIs this month I am now officially 2ww-ing.

Erk.

Karstan · 04/08/2010 10:57

8 that's very impressive, I was quite pleased with 2 in one day. Pretty sure I ov-ed on day 12 so really I should be on the 2ww now too I guess.

Bicnod · 04/08/2010 11:02

I think I ov-ed on CD 17 or 18 (positive OPK on CD16). RTD due next Thursday.

Two in one day?! that's pretty good going - when is RTD due?

Karstan · 04/08/2010 11:40

Ertd due in two weeks time, also got holiday in three weeks so lots of things to wait for - it's going to be a long fortnight

saffronbun · 04/08/2010 12:14

Booooo raven that sucks I am 99.9% certain I will be joining you in a day or two as there was not nearly enough SWI and my cycle is almost certainly royally buggered anyway post-MC.

Tamashii - I reckon as you're at the top of the list you are probably driving the bus by now!

caramellokoalalover · 04/08/2010 12:21

Oh no! Can't believe I have to wave goodbye to you two Pixie and ravenlocks. Utter rubbish. This bus is shrinking rapidly now. No more visits from AF!

Bicnod - 8 times, what an effort. You must be knackered!

Time has slowed as if I'm in another dimension where the days are passing like weeks. I can't believe I still have another 8 days before I can (sensibly) test. Noooooooooooooo. I'm already predicting I crack by Sunday.

Karstan · 04/08/2010 12:25

In my mind, the bus is a coach and Tamashii is sitting on that seat that flips down at the front over the steps which is meant for the alternate driver

BenignNeglect · 04/08/2010 13:14

Right - what do we think? On the one hand, I have been a bit crampy - and given that AF is 6 days away this could be a good sign. on the other hand, DH and I only managed 2 times because my work thought it would be hilarious to have a crisis that meant I had to work stupidly long days including the weekend. Do I have cause to be optimistic?

ljg72 · 04/08/2010 13:36

Hello all! and thanks Karstan for the post on excercise! would go totally mental without my gym sessions! .

Havent been on here much, glad to see the BFP's, but sad to see so many hoping over to the next bus...I'm way back on the bus waiting for "O" and then the 2WW (hate that bit).

Good luck to all ladies up at the front

Hope we don't have to change buses!

LadyGoneGaga · 04/08/2010 14:05

Benignneglect it only takes one well timed one so there is hope. I've been ss today too. Have decided my boobs sore (although that may be because wearing a bra patantly too small for me) and crampy. In theory miles off AF though. I'm not even convinced I ovved so fuck knows why I'm ss'ing!

The charting has merely served to increae my anxiety!

caramellokoalalover · 04/08/2010 14:52

Am confessing to a bit of crazy ss too. I'm so worried about imagining all these symptoms then getting really disappointed when AF turns up. But how to avoid it?

Can I ask a probably very stupid question re boobies? Do people mean when they say their boobs were sore that they were sore to touch? Or sore on the inside (achey)? Mine aren't sore (well they are if I tweak my nipples but that's probably normal ) but I feel like I'd be a lot more comfy without a bra on. They feel a bit puffed up.

Re the charting Lady, I know what you mean. I keep comparing my chart this month to the one 2 cycles ago when I was pregnant. It's torture! What's your chart doing?

Karstan · 04/08/2010 15:08

I'm going to be really excited if I get sore boobies, never had them before!

That's the only symptom I think I'll take notice of. Often suffer from nausea, tiredness and dizziness so not going to read anything into those signs

LadyGoneGaga · 04/08/2010 15:21

TBH I get sore boobies and go up a cup size every PMT so... . When I had DS - guess what, sore, big, boobies! Of course they were probably particularly sore and particularly big but not really capable of being objective!

Tiredness was my big thing - and also went off booze a bit. Just felt generally a bit weird.

caramel Both - sore to touch, bit sort of hot and achey and sore nips.

My chart can't seem to decide when I ovved - not looking very bi-phasic. Huge random spike day 13 which coincided with tummy bug but could also be ov day. Or, I could have ovved day 20ish and temp is being slow to rise. Very frustrating. First cycle temping plus breastfeeding so worried not ovving.

Here www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2fee7f if you can shed any light on.

Sorry for the essay peeps.

caramellokoalalover · 04/08/2010 15:32

Hey lady, thanks for the booby notes. I had a peek at your chart. I'm no expert by any means, but I'd guess you didn't ov when FF has you ov'ing. Especially as you say you had a tummy bug around then. If you did ov then you'd have expected your temps to stay up for 3 days, no? I'd guess you were more likely to have Ov'd cd22. Were the open circles because of irregular temp-taking times? Have you tried telling FF to disregard cd14 and seeing where FF moves your O to?
