We're getting serious this time BESHies. Welcome to the Palace, where the emphasis is on sophistication. Cast your eyes over the plush carpet, admire the oh-so-carefully worn leather armchairs with sidetables and little green lamps. We have the Bonds of the ages as barstaff, waiting to serve martinis and the finest champagne.

To your left you'll see the Pit, which hopefully we won't be needing much. To your right the Cave of Gloom, and straight ahead we have our special space for the 2WOOFL. You'll find beanbags and gym balls there, the walls have been specially painted to allow you to write your symptoms up and wipe them off if they disappear. It's all the rage for Blue Sky thinking these days. And there are donuts and coffee to keep you going as you try to shift that paradigm.

Darn, even with my editing the title was still slightly too long.

OP posts:
Medee · 20/06/2010 18:31

Excellent new thread, Muse.

saltyair · 20/06/2010 18:46

My oh my, sophisticated is right. Just nipping home to get my evening gloves....

Muser · 20/06/2010 18:53

If anyone goes through to the Blue Sky 2WOOFL room, you'll see I've already started off the scribbling with "where the fecking feck is my period then?"

Ariesgirl · 20/06/2010 18:56

Gold star Muse. A legendary opener there.

Am back from my ole-chum-piss-up beyatches. A good time was had by all, with sore heads aplenty this morning. Back to the grindstone, but all refreshed and invigorated.

So what's been happening?! Someone fill me in !

saltyair · 20/06/2010 19:06

No MuseDroid raises eyebrows

Muser · 20/06/2010 19:15

Also no positive tests salty as stated on last fred.

OP posts:
Scorpette · 20/06/2010 19:16

EXACTLY. Being the fred-opener worked last time for Ginnypig and now Muse has started the new one and not a sniff of droid.

I'm 2WOOFLing for NaturalHistoryMUSEum, never mind myself! That's a special level of menkul, kids! Don't try this at home.

PS As you said last Ovulation, eh, Aries, eh, eh? FNARR! [Finbar Saunders emoticon]

Scorpette · 20/06/2010 19:17

I meant 'exactly' to lack of M's, droid, not her her nonsense over BFPs (STILL slightly too early).

Muser · 20/06/2010 19:23

Droid is due today Scorps!

Unless I did ov late I suppose. In which case, I would like my body not to drive me menkul by doing such things. And I swear I did not imagine the weird shooting pains in my nips Friday and again yesterday. I was so aware of them last night, I could feel them there, all nippley.

OP posts:
saltyair · 20/06/2010 19:52

I'm glad they felt nippley rather than like camper vans or something... Nippley is good. Shooting pains also good, in a painful sort of way.

Have the cramps continued?

Muser · 20/06/2010 20:01

Not really. Nothing in particular seems to be happening anymore.

OP posts:
saltyair · 20/06/2010 20:04

I think you're doing an excellent job of keeping the menkul at bay!

Have a good evening, all

Medee · 20/06/2010 20:07

Oi MadameAries read it yourself! ;) Hope you had a nice weekend!

Scorpette · 20/06/2010 20:14

OVing late doesn't affect when droid is due though. It doesn't upsh the due date back by however many days Ov was late by. So it's either a win that for some reason isn't showing up on the piss-sticks (some women don't get a BFP for ages, despite clearly being pg) OR droid is late. I think we all know which one we hope it is Fingers are crossed so hard for you that I might need surgery to un-cross them

BTW, read an article today about PCOS and experts recommend cutting out sugar and eating a low-carb, low-GI diet. Is connected to insulin or summat. Might be summat to look into, Medieval

Bessie123 · 20/06/2010 20:34

hello BESHes.

GIN that is AMAZING news. Tell your baybee to behave itself and stay in there.

Lyra hope you (and your dad) are ok.

I will post the sticks to you this week, sorry about the delay.

Scorps the PCOS insulin thingy is because there is a link between PCOS and diabetes in later life, I don't know how.

In other news, I have had a little bit of bloody mucus (tmi?) do you think I should do something? I'm pretty sure it's not normal at 26 weeks but I don't know what it is.

Medee · 20/06/2010 20:34

Thanks Scorp, I read that too this weekend in a book I picked up at the library. Am scouring my recipe folder for the ones marked Low GI, and have been eating v healthily this weekend. Plus no booze at all. BTW, can you invite me to the fatbusters thingie, please?

Medee · 20/06/2010 20:36

Hey Bessie, not sure about the mucus, hope it is OK, but I guess the PESHies will be able to help better than us.

Muser · 20/06/2010 20:51

I would get it checked Bessie, could you ring NHS Direct for advice?

OP posts:
Muser · 20/06/2010 20:58

I didn't realise OVing late didn't affect cycle length. I am clearly a bit dumb.

Thing is, in my heart I don't think I am pregnant. And the longer droid takes to turn up the more I worry I'm going to have a complete breakdown when it does.

It's going to sound silly, but I really wanted to be pregnant as first SIL is due today. I'm scared that I'm going to be horrible when the baby arrives and won't be able to handle it and everyone will hate me. And if I am pregnant I won't get all the pitying looks. AAARGH, someone slap me!

OP posts:
Bessie123 · 20/06/2010 20:58

I could ring nhs direct but I predict they will tell me to go to A&E, which seems completely a bit extreme.

I will take myself off to google...

Bessie123 · 20/06/2010 20:59

Muser sorry you're having such a crappy time. When did you last POAS? Do you know you're not updiffed?

Muser · 20/06/2010 20:59

I did a little google Bessie. Dr Spock suggests it's a "seek medical help now" thing. www.drspock.com/article/0,1510,23726,00.html But please don't panic, Google is a bad way to diagnose.

OP posts:
Muser · 20/06/2010 21:01

And my googling may not be as good as yours, as I don't know what you saw. There is normal discharge you get as well, so it may be you had the normal stuff.

I PIAP this morning, not even the faintest whiff of a line.

OP posts:
Bessie123 · 20/06/2010 21:05

ah shit. I will go and see if there is any more - if nothing I will just rest. If there is more I will call doc.

I am keeping everything crossed for you getting a line this week. Don't feel bad for your natural reactions. I'm sure if your family knew how difficult this is for you they wouldn't be judging.
