We're getting serious this time BESHies. Welcome to the Palace, where the emphasis is on sophistication. Cast your eyes over the plush carpet, admire the oh-so-carefully worn leather armchairs with sidetables and little green lamps. We have the Bonds of the ages as barstaff, waiting to serve martinis and the finest champagne.

To your left you'll see the Pit, which hopefully we won't be needing much. To your right the Cave of Gloom, and straight ahead we have our special space for the 2WOOFL. You'll find beanbags and gym balls there, the walls have been specially painted to allow you to write your symptoms up and wipe them off if they disappear. It's all the rage for Blue Sky thinking these days. And there are donuts and coffee to keep you going as you try to shift that paradigm.

Heh, thanks Cho. I was really unsure though. My symptoms are a bit fleeting and rubbish. And the endless negatives. And I didn't really want to believe I'd get it first month back as it seems unfair and unBESHly.

Have the secs Aries. G'wan. You dirty shagger

Wooopppdeeeewoooooo Muse !!! Am proper over the moon for you! Awe tis lovely to see so much joy around the place!

Am starting to think that the real reason I can't get knocked up is nuffink to do with me tubular smells and more to do with the fact I have NEVER started a fred (or have I?) and I don't linger round these parts enough! Looks like yiz will all have yer belly babies before the summer's done!

Super brilliant news is what it is!

SomethingSuitablyWitty · 22/06/2010 14:17

Just emerging from Lurkage to say Huge Congratulations to the Differs!!!

Your commitment to the project and fearless embracing of Blue Sky thinking has delivered very convincing results.

Huge congratulations to Salty, Gin and Muser! Gin and Muser - surely karma dictates that now must be your turn for the easiest and most uneventful pregnancies in history! Everything crossed for you and loads of good vibes!

And lots of good thoughts to recent differs Cho, twinkle and mas as well! Hope all shall continue to glide along perfectly and if lucky bump fluff is something that could help with that, well that's something peshes can provide.

And here's to the upcoming paradigm shift for all the Beshes! MSD project is GO!

Now have these martinis so I can get back in character.

Muser · 22/06/2010 14:32

The MSDP seems to be going quite well, doesn't it? How are you feeling? Did you wake MrM at silly o'clock to tell him?

Hey, BESHes, have you seen this? beshspiration

MountTheFairy · 22/06/2010 15:34

Woop woop! Excuse my sporadic shouts from the lurkage corner, but whoever thought up this MSDP is an oracle! Did I say woop, woop?
Sooo, chuffed for ya laydeez!

I won't be 2WOOLFing as the Spunk Provider refused to do it with his MIL next door. Given she is desparate for a GC summat tells me she'd be cheering us along!

I had some conversations with her about yesterday's topic (to diff or not to diff) and being old fashioned and by the book, she pretty much said something highly profound like "You are not a complete person without a child." That just pisses me off. One one hand I think I have a nack for kids (past baby stage), on the other hand I don't have Da Urge. So am pretty much doing it because I do not want to regret not doing it later. And a bit of me is curious to produce an offspring. We are a bit peculiar. As all of you BESHes are after all . Anyhoo, I do sometimes very much wonder if I am doing it just because of pressures. But then The Male seems to be getting broody and had a panicked look in his eyes when I mentioned abandoning the diffment programme, so maybe that's just enough... Not to start ranting about jobs, careers, etc. Although I could use some advice there...

Headbanger · 22/06/2010 15:40

Mountie, I read that, and wondered why the MIL was living next door, and why the Spunk Dispenser would be wanting to shag her, and even if he did (takes all sorts, and my judgeypants are at the cleaners), how that would win you a baybee

MountTheFairy · 22/06/2010 16:20

Headsterpoo that just made me laugh out loud for a while! Thanks for contributing to my weirdo status at the Uni (and The Palace)!

Ariesgirl · 22/06/2010 17:50

I read it as that as well. That could be an example of ambiguity in a Year 6 literacy textbook, along the lines of "Toilet broken. Please use floor below."

Though I'm not quite sure what OFSTED would make of such a textbook.

MountTheFairy · 22/06/2010 18:01

Must be because I said HIS MIL next door. What I wanted to say is that it was his MIL, ie. my mother who was sleeping next door, but it all came out wrong and I think I am just making it worse! Maybe because I do not remember learning about ambiguity at school .

I blame exams and family visiting right after the exams! Too tired. Spent a maaaaarvelous day lounging around Lincoln's Inn though... was almost nekkid too.

Getting ready to seduce da man, Arial? I would start with a bubbly... but that's just my own craving.

Ariesgirl · 22/06/2010 18:17

Aaah, well you won't you see. It made a brief foray into the Y6 curriculum during the years of the National Literacy Strategy. And unless you're between the ages of 12 and 20 (which I doubt) then you won't have done the NLS.

Yes, I am planning a seduction tonight. He has no choice in the matter, though I fear it may be too late this month. On the other hand I haven't had eggy pant snot yet. And I know you wanted to know that.

laurielou · 22/06/2010 18:21

Don't know if its a symptom, but I have more FFJ that I have in a while. Either that or I'm a dirty beatch .

saltyair · 22/06/2010 18:25

OHMYGOD!!!!

Is this correct - There is a Musepos? OUI OUI (on a stick). This is exciting muchos!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!

so happy for you.

MountTheFairy · 22/06/2010 18:29

Well, gussetwatch used to be favourite pastime around these parts. You may be on time. My, usually on time, cycles have been 33 and 34 days for last couple of months with day 20 snot. So ya never know. Back on the textbook scenario: day 14 ovulation... Do you reckon that's in textbooks nowdays, toghether with etiquette re. MILs and shagging?

Ariesgirl · 22/06/2010 20:25

What can I do to make him shag me?
What can I do to make him care?
What can I do to make a baby?
What can I do to get me diffed?

Ok, the last line doesn't rhyme.

Ariesgirl · 22/06/2010 20:27

Am considering rushing up to London and trying to seduce Nadal in an older woman, femme-fatale kinda way. He looks young, fit and virile with plenty of energy. Excellent sperm-donor material. And I bet he goes like a train.

PollyPoo · 22/06/2010 20:41

Do I take it your plans to seduce MrA are not going well Aries? And thank you so much for putting the bloody Corrs in my head.

Ocarina · 22/06/2010 20:43

Can you kidnap him and bring him back to the palace while you're at it?

TH has been out and bought a tent, so it looks like with droid due next week I'm going to spend Friday night c*mping. This cycle is clearly doomed.

Ariesgirl · 22/06/2010 20:45

The object of my desire is asleep on the sofa. Maybe I'll pour him some champagne (I believe we have some unused somewhere) and stuff some oysters in his mouth followed by strawberries. And I can dress up as a 22 year old blonde. With big tits. And tanned legs He may wake up then.

Ariesgirl · 22/06/2010 20:46

LOL at the camping, Ocster

Am aghast that I said LOL.

PollyPoo · 22/06/2010 20:50

Aries let him have a power nap then wake him up with champagne and lovely food. Preferably wearing the food on your scantily-clad body (not that this is my fantasy of course... ahem)
