I think (not knowing where my cycle is exactly post mc) that I'm on the 2 week boob prod.

Got an annoying stabby pain low down on my right which I'm trying not to read anything into (other than that the matress is still borked and I've probably pulled something).

bessie26 · 31/05/2010 14:50

LadyBee - I got an app for my iphone too, but it's pretty rubbish. I usually just enter my temps on the notepad thing every morning & then enter them into the s/w on my PC every few days. You can put in CM & any other "signs" and it will predict when you have O'd. Only prob is, it's easy to get a bit obsessed - esp if you start playing "what if.." games with it!

another acronym question - what's RTD stand for? I'm guessing it's AF, but it's bugging me I can't work out what the letters stand for!

hairy - sorry to hear the bleeding's come back - I stopped after 7 days, but wouldn't leave the house yesterday (CD11) without a pad in "just in case"

Hope you're all having a good bank hol? Weather is grey & miserable here, but I've done my chores & DD is napping, so think I'll go catch a few Z's too.

hairytriangle · 31/05/2010 14:53

Bessie so glad your bleeding has stopped. It's horrid isn't it!

I'm paranoid I'm going to flood all the time!

I am carrying pads about everywhere with me of all different shapes and sizes - anyone need to know anything about pads, I'm your gal LOL

I'm cursed with heavy periods, but usually extra huge tampons work fine, but I can't use tampons as it's mc, apparently.

hairytriangle · 31/05/2010 14:54

^ the 'graduates' list is very impressive and is cheering me up no end

VivClicquot · 31/05/2010 16:25

Afternoon all x

hope everyone is having a lovely long weekend?

magic - thanks for thinking of me, lovely. Rusty was due either yesterday or today but absolutely no sign of the fucker ... Cause for excitement, I thought. However, have just done a test and (I think) it's negatory - there's a faintest of a faint shadow of a line but I think it's an evap line as it's too skinny to be anything meaningful. So more frustration at this end

xxx

aly323 · 31/05/2010 17:38

Viv, I hope that faintest of faint shadows of a line gets a little darker tomorrow.

hairytriangle · 31/05/2010 18:03

big hug for viv - a faint line is still a faint line - maybe wait a few days? Wishing you a BFP!

digitalgirl · 31/05/2010 18:09

Er, viv when did this 'evap' line appear? Within ten mins? Is it blue/pink or grey? I've never had an evap line with a pg test. (unless you count the ones inside a digital test that you're not supposed to rip apart in order to find out exactly how 'not pregnant' you are). Anyway, I say if no rtd by tomorrow morning then a test with fmu is in order to feed my our curiosity.

Sorry, but am quietly excited - I have nothing interesting going on here so must live vicariously.

VivClicquot · 31/05/2010 18:12

I keep going back to fish it out of the bathroom bin to look at it, but I'm sure it's just an evap line - it's only a hair width thick

VivClicquot · 31/05/2010 18:16

Ooh cross post - I'd say it appeared around the ten min mark, maybe later. It certainly didn't show immediately.

The only thing that's giving me the vaguest hope is that I've had absolutely no spotting or pink / brown cm this time - I always get it two or three days before.

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 31/05/2010 18:17

oh good Viv you are here!!! Evap line.........

all you need to know about HPTs

How quickly could you see it? Was it after 10 mins like Digi said?

All bits and pieces crossed for you xx

OP posts:
Magic8ballhastheanswers · 31/05/2010 18:22

Viv That's good about the spotting, or lack of - my lovely counsellor & bereavement mw both said it is very common for cycle/periods to go dooooooolally around the time of anniversaries...... Did anything come back from your progesterone test?

OP posts:
VivClicquot · 31/05/2010 19:19

Haven't had the results yet - am due to go in tomorrow for my day two fsh blood test, at which they'll give me the results of the progesterone test. However, I've still not yet come on, so assume I'll have to rearrange for later this week?

batteryhen · 31/05/2010 20:00

viv this is very exciting I really hope that line gets darker!!

I have small dilemma, am in 2WW (which i don't have hope for as if I dont ovulate soon then all DHs' little swimmers will have died off from the weekend) but I am due on a hen weekend to cyprus on friday. To drink or not to drink, that is the question!!

Also have raging urine infection from SWI at the weekend -( happens all the time as we don't see each other often so we make up for it when we do ) however, I really dont want to take anti biotics for same reason as not drinking. What to do???

digitalgirl · 31/05/2010 20:45

batteryhen I would say it's best to clear up the infection as your body may delay ovulation if it's dealing with fighting an infection. Pregnant women get cystitis there must be something doctors give them that is safe in pregnancy. Re: drinking, I've had two mc's so I'm not drinking in the 2ww this time for my own peace of mind, but I drank moderately through 2ww when pg with ds and he's perfectly fine.

randomimposter · 31/05/2010 21:18

viv am tapping my feet on the floor in excitement and impatience for news. Sending lots of positive vibes your way.

battery - what digi said. Have suffered a couple of times myself and found cranberry juice worked really well? Also drank far too much ( at the memory) on several occasions when unknowingly pg with unplanned DS. He is totally fine.

Gilda - thanks for the wave

Muse - suppose we better start thinking about SWI...?

Wave to all x

StickThemWithThePointyEnd · 31/05/2010 21:23

can I join you guys?

mc at 8 weeks almost 2 weeks ago, trying to ttc #2...

LadyBee · 31/05/2010 22:10

Welcome IvySedai, very sorry about your loss, I hope you find all the support you need here

Viv, I'm quietly optimistic on your behalf, and have everything crossed that AF holds off and that line gets darker tomorrow.

Battery, I'd get the GP onto the cystitis, I don't think Abs in the 2ww would harm, but an infection left to get worse could stop implantation or cause MC (sorry ).

Jullster you go girl! woop woop, (hey, we can all use some moral support when entering the SWI zone)

Digi - so, those I'm-about-to-get-RTD cramps? I've got those big-time today. I am ever-so-casually browsing 2ww symptom websites. Please, somebody stop me. The madness, the madness....

....oh, also, have just watched a good film. Men Who Stare at Goats. It has Ewan Macgregor, Keven Spacey and George Clooney in it and is funny, a bit out there.

DH & I are bunking off tomorrow. We took the day as leave thinking we'd go somewhere but I forgot to book DS off on holiday from his childminder. Sooo, we've decided to send him as usual and spend the day going to an art gallery, having lunch and seeing a movie.

digitalgirl · 31/05/2010 22:11

jolls you might find it takes a while if you're swi-ing with muser ivysedai welcome, sorry you're here but we're a good bunch and as you can see from the grads list we do get there in the end.

batteryhen · 31/05/2010 22:14

Thank you for the advice I have rushed to the bathroom cabinet and dug out some tablets from last time, and thrown them down my neck. I don't want to give any reason for not ovulating / implanting !!

digitalgirl · 31/05/2010 22:15

ladybee you are me. I watched that on Saturday!
'Sadly' no cramping at all today for me. Clearly there is no bun in oven.

Have purposefully bought extra cheap bog standard basic tests from boots that you're supposed to wait till your late to use. Hoping it will prevent me from testing over the next 7 days.

Muser · 31/05/2010 22:16

Definitely SWI time jollster but digitalgirl makes a very good point.

I have had a lovely weekend. Went out Friday for a great meal and drank an awful lot. Spent Saturday recovering. Yesterday met friends for coffee and a good gossip. Then today went for lunch again and drank quite a bit again. The restaurant was full of kids this lunchtime, we felt like the naughty table necking wine!
