digi at least this means your WTF cycle is coming to an end at last? I know how much we all want to get pg straight away and I'm sorry it hasn't happened to you- good luck for your next cycle ((((big hug)))

lucysnowe · 07/06/2010 14:03

LadyBee indeed. Hmph I have had enough of the 2ww, I don't wanna play no more, it's no fun.

No sign of RTD yet however so digi we shall have to have a race to see who gets there first (hope we both lose as it were )if not here's to the next one.

VivClicquot · 07/06/2010 15:40

Hey everyone x

Just popping on to say hi. Can you believe this thread had fallen off the 'Threads I'm On' list, despite being on here on Friday? Tsk. It's outrageous, I tell you.

Loving the positivity from those who have officially moved onto the grads list. Let's have more of those good vibes please.

Have a manic week in store as am off on holiday on Saturday for a fortnight and have shitloads of stuff to do before I go. Still, this time next week, I'll be sunning myself by the pool wondering how DH and I can surreptitiously sneak off for a quick SWI without raising suspicions. Any ideas gratefully received...

Much love
xxxx

clareanna · 07/06/2010 16:26

viv lovely to hear from you - have a lovely holiday!
ideas:
fake sunstroke/ food poisoning- can't go out
late night stroll on beach
share bathroom
long swim out at sea (although not sure how effective his would be)
changing rooms at swimming pool

Necessity is the mother of invention after all!!!

VivClicquot · 07/06/2010 17:35

Oooh good ones, thanks doll. We're in quite a big villa, so am hoping that our bedroom will be well away from everyone else's and that I can blame wanting to be away from my gorgeous but noisy two year old neice as an excuse...

DH, btw, is putting his foot down about us doing any SW-outI for the next few days, as he wants to "preserve his supplies" ... god love him.

BUnderTheBonnet · 07/06/2010 19:24

Viv If anyone asks where you're sneaking off to, just say "we're off for a shag". They'll assume you're joking.

OPK was positive today! Hooray! Much SWI will commence. On line for a back-to-normal length cycle too.

LadyBee · 07/06/2010 20:09

Hello Viv, I'm sure your housemates will just go 'awwwww' and look at their partners pointedly if they do suspect you're sneaking off for some horizontal action

Yay BUnder get to it!

Soooo, I don't feel very period-ish. But then I don't feel anything else so no reason to be hopeful. It's weird though, this time last week I could have sworn I was about to get RTD, it's like a phantom period .

Hey ho...drums fingers....

Emptyshell I thought of you over the weekend, how are you doing today?

oh, shall I test or shan't I. I think I can deal with a BFP. I've got some internet cheapies in the drawer from post-MC testing. I think I probably will. Ladies, put the crash mats down.

LadyBee · 07/06/2010 20:20

Ha, that's some Freudian slip - I meant to say "I think I can deal with a BFN"...obviously, a BFP would be preferable. duuuuh.

Hairytriangle are you feeling any better now? Seems like it's been a while - hope you're ok

clareanna · 07/06/2010 20:22

Ladybee test! test! test! (i think that's what you want me to say?!) but, are you due tomorrow? maybe wait until tomorrow morning?!

Hairy where for art thou? hope everything's going ok with the treatment

BUnderTheBonnet · 07/06/2010 20:51

Ladybee test test test! Good luck!

randomimposter · 07/06/2010 20:58

Ladybee GO Go GO... Give us an "L", give us an "A"... and so on....

Despite it being CD15 which is late for me, am steeling myself for one more SWI tonight (really CBA tbh) just in case I'm still in the game.... oooo, how romantic...

StickThemWithThePointyEnd · 07/06/2010 21:05

hmm... can I ask you guys something quite gross? had something this morning that really freaked me out, but I'm not sure what your take on TMI is on here... :/

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 07/06/2010 21:16

hello hello, just popping by wondering how Hairy and Empty are doing?

Ivy go ahead......ask it.

Jolls

LadyBee TEST.

Good luck Digi & Lucy - it's not over until it's over.

Viv have a LUBBBERLY holiday, I am dead jealous! Bless DH, I bet you will have tonnes of opportunity think 'still living at home, boyfriend is supposed to be on the sofa'

OP posts:
StickThemWithThePointyEnd · 07/06/2010 21:26

well....ok. TMI warning I thought that I was on day 3 (or is it 4?) of RTD, but when I changed my tampon this morning, there was very little blood, but instead, there was one spot on the tampon, approx. where it had been touching my cervix, that was greeny yellow instead...
Lateron it was all blood again, but that spot really freaked me out..

hairytriangle · 07/06/2010 21:30

Hi chaps thanks for missing me Clareanna and ladybee - I'm still lurking, still bleeding, day 4 bloods showed a small drop in hcg and I have day 7 test in the morning. Praying for a huge drop!

Been back to work today for a few hours and it did me good but Im shattered now!

Ivy I'd see a doctor if I were you - I have no idea what it could be, but probably good to get some medical advice.

digitalgirl · 07/06/2010 21:51

ivy might have been a nabothian cyst. We get spots on our cervix just like we can on our face. They come and go and don't cause any problems. However, if you have a temperature, or more discharge or if it starts to smell bad then get thee to a doctor.

hairy small yay for small drop. Hope to do a big yay tomorrow.

Lucy on your marks...

Have been in a filthy mood with my poor family. And have just done angry cleaning. You know when you throw the Hoover around and don't care how loud you slam drawers? Am pmt bitch. Just need rtd now.

digitalgirl · 07/06/2010 21:53

ladybee weeeeeell?

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 07/06/2010 21:53

Good luck for tomorrow Hairy keeping fingers crossed for a drop.

Ivy I second what Hairy said, def go and see your GP.

OP posts:
Magic8ballhastheanswers · 07/06/2010 21:55

Digi angry cleaning I do that too!!! Still keeping fingers crossed for you.

OP posts:
digitalgirl · 07/06/2010 22:00

Thanks magic8 am secretly hoping too!

LadyBee · 07/06/2010 22:14

Oh I think I'll wait til the morning..am feeling a bit crampy and my AF usually turns up in the middle of the night. If there's nothing I'll test and then it's sure to turn up 30 mins later .

Night all, I'm going to bed with a book.

emptyshell · 07/06/2010 22:40

I'm still around, on about what would be day 23/28 on a normal cycle - but of course what will happen is anyone's guess. Feel PMSy, have tests in the house so obviously I've peed my way to the monthly disappointment.

Have to go back to the lying so-and-so (aka the doctor) tomorrow - not looking forward to that, going to say as little as possible to the scumbag. From now on, he gets to print me a prescription once a month for my weight loss medication, and that's the only interest I have in his existence - till we rack up another year TTC and I can officially be declared infertile again. I'll jump through their hoops and keep going through the motions of losing weight to keep their faces straight - but I have no hope at all of any help from them and they're just a waste of money and space in my eyes - but at least my monthly weight checks will be costing the NHS money as is my duty as a fat person.

I may sound angry - I cope better fuelled by a light spot of rage, when the anger turns to pain I crumble, so me being like this is the best way forward for me.

lucysnowe · 08/06/2010 08:55

empty lol at 'light spot of rage' I know what you mean sometimes. It does seem as though a spot of self-diagnosis will be best for you. Glad you are pushing through the weight loss, you're doing really well. It may not go well with the weight loss medication but if you do have PCOS (I don't know whether that's ever been diagnosed or not and I don't want to do it for you, obviously) you might find a low-GI diet helps a lot with that.

magic8 thanks but had some spotting this morning - coupled with another high temp, 16dpo... so think digi I may win this one. Good luck digi and ladybee!

digitalgirl · 08/06/2010 09:07

15dpo. Bfn. Still no rtd. So bored of this now. It's unfair to have a 2 month cycle and a 15/16 day luteal phase.

LadyBee · 08/06/2010 09:10

Well.

Knock me over with a feather.

I got a BFP this morning.

Frankly, I'm gobsmacked and a bit embarrassed. I'm not entirely sure how we managed that but DH is now convinced that he has super-sperm and I guess I have to agree: they're either very long-lived or long-distance swimmers.

Bloody hell. I hope this one sticks around long enough for me to get my head around it. I feel a bit like crying.
