OK, so since TTC I've thought (or wondered briefly) the following might be signs of being pregnant...

funny rash on my legs - still don't know what this was
three spots on my forehead - I was convinced this was a hormone induced 'breakout' as I don't normally get spots)
General bad mood - turns out I'm just grumpy
crazy dreams
needing a wee
not needing a wee
not liking the smell of coconut - weird
feeling very weepy and sore boobs - hmmm... this could have just been PMS!
stuffy nose

This month I have a massive craving for Mango which I'm normally indifferent to - I am of course CONVINCED that it's my month...

Am desperately trying to hold out till next weekend to test... I need distractions! anyone else had any funny symptoms and wondered if it could be a SIGN?

OOoh, seany, where are you off to for your holiday? Im looking for a cheap holiday too...would love to get away before another baby as I think it would be alot easier with just us and DD.

Hello, I'm new to mumsnet but not new to ttc. I've just found this thread and I'm obsessing about my symptoms and no idea if I am imagining them or not and whether there is a chance I might be preggers.

Been trying for 10 months now ;-( 38 and worried it's too late. But this month I have more symptoms than I've experienced before. We ovulated (checked by CBM) and BD 12 and 11 days ago, but I have a short luteal phase. My symptoms are:

1. incredibly sore nipples since a couple of days after ovulating (11 days ago)
2. white cm for a few days after o, yellow cm for a couple of days, pink cm on Sun, brownish today
3. Cramps, but not AF cramps, for past five days, not normal usually have hellish AF pains one day then I get AF
4. stuffy nose for past 9 days
5. nightmares
6. tired
7. scratchy sore throat for past 9 days
8. bloated big belly, can't fit clothes - altho that is normal for me before AF
9. Feeling pregnant
10. Peeing a lot, which is not normal before AF as normally suffer from extreme water retention and can go for hours without peeing. Pee smells weird.
11. Feeling good as normally feel like hell before AF but do feel nauseous now and again but don't know if imagining this
12. lots of saliva, I actually lost control of it yesterday when I spoke to someone and slavered all over myself and had to try and mop it up without her noticing, which of course she did - poor women!
13. Starving in the afternoon

My cycles are usually around 24 days but now on 28 but I did a test last night and BFN! ;-( Will try again in a couple of days.

I have been hiding a little - AF has finally left the building (thank goodness) i though she was here for about 9 days, but i think i had a day or two for spotting previous, so it made it seem sooooo long.

Seany - You do sound very busy indeed Where are you off on your hols?? And yes I am still in Letterkenny. Weather here is absolutely amazing, today is mild but Fri-Mon were all scorchers I look a bit like a lobster lol

I am going to es cana in ibiza for a week, all inclusive and i cant wait . It is the only opportunity we will have to go AI so thats why we forked out extra for it. Es cana is on the opposite side of the island from san antonio so we wont be surrounded by mad partyers lol

cherry what age is your dd? We went on hols when ds was 9 months and it was hell. but he is 2+8months now so should be alot easier.

Whenever i decide to not think about my cycle something always happens to bring it back to my mind.. i am cd16, went to the loo this morning and had pink when i wiped. it only happened that one time, have been twice since and theres nothing there now. Have no idea what that may be but im not gonna let it worry me, im putting it out of my head.

I am so loving the good weather, it puts everyone in a cheerful mood doesnt it!!

I'm still feeling v tired and hungry and boobies feel massive. I felt like this when preg with DS. He was concieved first month of trying, it's strange i though I would be more relaxed about ttc #2 but I'm more obsessive.

queenie hoping you get your BFP this month, those symptoms do look promising. Your nightmares, are they every night? I've been dreaming alot since I ov'd not nightmares as such but very vivid.

I'm power walking later with a friend, the last few nights I've been so tired I've just watched tv and went to bed before 9.

adair - thanks, you've made me feel a whole lot better! it's just so hard to imagine the idea of being pregnant when you've not had any experience of it, but i worry so much about it i practically convince myself i'm infertile sometimes =/

cherrybaby aww sorry to you too! hope next month is our month. i'm on the 2WW now, about a week in (i THINK, but not sure), no symptoms really apart from peeing a lot but I think it would be too early for that one to mean being preg.

Aw thanks girls! This site has been a godsend as it makes me feel normal for being abnormal - my DH is still getting used to my new language - ttc, AF, BD etc!

Day 29 and still nothing happening today, although bad AF cramps yesterday and all that goes with it moody, angry, sad and feeling fat. So was convinced it would come last night but nothing yet.

fairybubbles - I've been having hellish nightmares - last night DH and I nearly died in a plane crash, last week I got squashed by a ferry, Katy Perry was in one and DH ran off with a woman in another - WTF? I hope your dreams have been nicer

bookant - I used cheapy own brand tests. The first was invalid the second BFN altho I looked at it a couple of hours later and there was a faint line but I guess it's invalid by then. I might buy a cb one today but scared...

Queenie did you buy another test? I am never buying another test again until af is late cause the disappointment of bfn is worse than af arriving.
Maybe you are testing too early?
When i got preg with ds i didnt test til day 34 and thats only cause we had stopped trying and i didnt realise i was preg. The only thing that pushed me to test was that i was getting af cramps for days but no af, and also i was so tired i could have cried.

The tiredness thing will be harder to spot this time around cause with a 2 year old and a full time job im used to feeling tired alot of the time now

Queenie it sounds like your dreams have been pretty crazy, mine have been too.. ive also noticed I wake up feeling a bit out of sorts like I need a minute or two to realise I'm actually awake if that makes sense!

SeanyHi I'm on cd21. Im usually a 28 day cycle but have varied in the past. I'm hoping to wait til atleast cd30 so I think I will test on or around Sat 5th June. I'm not sure what test to use, maybe a first resp? Anyone else due to test around then?

I already have it im my head already that I am preg. Last night I ate some strawberries with cream and felt really sick afterwards. I mean so sick I had to lie down in bed. Tonight I have just had some pasta as I'm starving even thought I've already had dinner earlier.

Aw well... time will tell. Hopefully the bank holiday weekend will take my mind off the counting lol!

Seany did another test last night and another BFN and still no AF, I usually have a 24-26 day cycle and now on day 30 but had some spotting, quite a lot more than before in middle of night when I went to loo so now think my AF will come today - my CBFM is flashing M too. I feel so down about it as I had convinced myself that I was pg this month as I felt so different. I'm feeling really sad today (which is not like me) and I'm not sure if I can do it again this month, I just want my AF to come now so it's over with!

I'm only on 1st cycle TTC #2. We had no problems concieving DS, I think we only SWI twice! old

We had hoped for a spring 2011 baby but decided to start this month in case we have to wait a few months so that means I'm not feeling under so much pressure. Although I would still love to be preg now!

seany how are you today, any more spotting? I've just reaslised our DS are similar age, mine is 3yrs 3 months old. I think it will be much harder being preg with him to look after as well. Last time I could sleep when I needed it!

Although other than that I can't say I'm having many symptoms today. Cycle is still out of it but if I had to venture a guess this would be CD22? Ish. Kind of felt a bit of an AF feeling this morning though

Feeling a lot better now, went to a fab art exhibition with my friend, although she brought one of her friends who is 7 months pg but it didn't upset me as she looked so amazing! Onwards and upwards! And you're right it's not over until it is over. 14dpo tomorrow but will hold off testing again, if AF doesn't come, until Monday.

I have very few symptoms now other than tearfulness, spotting and realising that only leggings fit me as I have such bad water retention (which is normal for me pmt unforts)!

I'm on CD22, about 7 DPO I think. I felt off this afternoon, it lasted for about an hour, felt queasy but wasnt sick. Had a cold glass of water and it seemed to do the trick.

I had a lovely day,just waiting on DP to get home from a long shift so we can have dinner together and watch a dvd. DS well behaved and in bed aslp for 7.15pm.

last month felt soooooooooooo pregnant and obviously wasnt, this month i dont really feel anything, well kind of sometimes raise an eyebrow and think i wonder...had bleeding gums a few days ago, been feeling sickly as tho i havent eaten but i have. Tho my one suspicious boob is back which makes me suspect af will arrive, no cramping like last month which i had cd17 and no swollen boobs - tho last month was the weirdest ever and certainly not the norm. Im on cd 22 now and have lost half a pound which is nothing and straw clutching but who would notice they had lost half a pound, i felt like i had lost more weight hence the fact i weighed myself, felt really slim and i lost weight at the start with dd. Tho in all honesty im so tired at the mo with all the stresses and strains of family life i feel i could do with a good sleep before i embark on the tiredness you get with pregnancy! Im going grocery shopping a couple of days before im due and i vow not to buy a test. I will wait for af and if nothing by next weekend i will test. I dont think this month will be the month as ive lost the enthusiasm i had last month, feel more relaxed, more willing to wait, 2ww been easier this time and i feel more content so dont really want to waste money or emotion on tests that my heart really doesnt think will be bfp.

Im on cd18 and I had some cramps today and a sore back,felt like af was gonna arrive,then went to the loo and there was pinky watery blood (if you could call it that) when i wiped. I had this 2 days ago,along with a pinky tinge to my cm (none yesterday though)but it has gone again now so dont know what it was. was joking to dp that it was implantation of twins haha as if . Do you think it couldve been ovulation,and would it last day 16-18??? though thats slightly confusing cause whilst on clomid your ment to ov 5-10 days after last tablet. i take mine days 1-5 so up to 10 days after would be cd15

Fairy how long are your cycles usually? Were you sicky when early pg with your ds? I had sickness from about 7 weeks til 16 weeks. utter hell lol cant say im looking forward to that now that ive ds to get up,dressed and out the door in the mornings now as well

Queenie im glad you're feeling better now after your day out,but sorry af is messing with your head.

Boobs, tummy and thighs have looked like an a to z for a couple of months - tho probably always look like an a to z just ive only been 'studying' them for 2 months! Hardly spoke about it this time to dh and havent marked the days on my calendar or symptoms in my diary. Tiredness, blue veins, runny nose and one suspicious boob are what appear to be my norms so from now on discount them as symptoms! I occasionally feel a bit weird and say hmmmm if i didnt know any different and raise my eyebrow with genuine wondering that this time it could be...but apart from that im normal!

im back ladies and starting to get into full symptom spotting mode with 4-5 days to go before af due...woke up this morning feeling thick around my waist iyswim just felt heavy and generally i just feel different, just weird. Been feeling sickly for a few days on and off and this morning definitely feel iffy and just not quite right and could have a good cry about it coz i feel super emotional...

This is truly ridiculous but need to post anyway:

symptoms - headache, metallic taste in mouth (or was that too much garlic last night?), nausea

period not due til 10th June
BD on 23 and 24 May (when I think CM was elastic and I was definitely feeling fruity!)

I am being ridiculous though surely this is too early for any signs even if we were successful? what do you reckon?

LOL at everyones crazy dreams! I had a rather scary dream myself the other day...isnt it so very interesting that they're we're ALL having strange dreams??

As for me and ridiculous symptom spotting, after a ten day period, I BD for about 3 days before coming on a period again? I'm getting really really annoyed at my stupid periods that just dont seem to stop and let me BD in peace

Apart from that, we're also house hunting and its so stressful I can just cry! Ive been researching on schools in the areas we wanted to move, and its proving a rather difficult task. I guess I am more fussy about "good" schools since studying primary education, but its definitely a case of money can buy the best catchment area school placement. Aargh. Sometimes I wonder if our era of parents have gone completely nuts with regards to education for their kids. I mean, I just went to the local primary school, walked with my sister rather. I don't believe my parents even knew an ofsted report was. Bless them.

Heh CherryBaby - I've done supply in most of the schools round here (or tutored kids from them) so I know full-well which ones are good and bad from a non-Ofsted point of view... there's two in particular I wouldn't send my three-legged cat to.

lol emptyshell, surely a cat with three legs should go to a school purely for the gifted and talented?

The reason why I look at ofsted reports is because i dont really know the area well, and I dont have any links with any of the schools, so ofsted reports are my only safest way of researching at the mo.
