Ridiculous Symptom Spotting... come on... you know you do...

OK, so since TTC I've thought (or wondered briefly) the following might be signs of being pregnant...

funny rash on my legs - still don't know what this was
three spots on my forehead - I was convinced this was a hormone induced 'breakout' as I don't normally get spots)
General bad mood - turns out I'm just grumpy
crazy dreams
needing a wee
not needing a wee
not liking the smell of coconut - weird
feeling very weepy and sore boobs - hmmm... this could have just been PMS!
stuffy nose

This month I have a massive craving for Mango which I'm normally indifferent to - I am of course CONVINCED that it's my month...

Am desperately trying to hold out till next weekend to test... I need distractions! anyone else had any funny symptoms and wondered if it could be a SIGN?

I never tell my DP when I'm testing. It means I have to find ways of doing it without him noticing and have got very ingenious at hiding used tests but on the bright side I only have to listen to the voice in my head saying how silly I am for testing so early

I am trying to hold out till the weekend to test but have a feeling I might break very soon!

looking 4 months pregnant than having to come to terms with the fact im just having a chubby week!

also been switching tumble dryer on - retching at the moist smell of the tumble dryer was the first hint i was preg with DD - it happened the day before i was due AF tho never happened again after that!

I am spotting new and different symptoms each month and driving myself crazy. This month (AF due 14th) so far:

Tired
Really really really hungry
Memory totally gone. I am usually pretty focused and organised and have been leaving important things at home and forgetting what I have gone into rooms for.
Waking at 7am every morning absolutely desperate for a pee.
Didn't feel like drinking at a party today.
And tonight... a new blue vein on my right boob!

Please tell me to pull myself together.

Thank you all. It really has been a long slog so far so I def understand the feeling of pleased for someone else but sad for yourself. My friends are all conceiving their second now when I was trying for a first before some of them were.

Oh, I have also had metallic taste (but started after period due) and lots of wet cm.

I am 3 DPO and already obsessed! Have mega tingly nipples, super tired, snappy, feeling distant and headachey all the time! And now I've just read this thread....I suddenly have a lot more symptoms!!!

AF isn't due until 20th April, what am I going to do until then? I think I am just going to avoid going shopping, if I don't have any tests in the house I can't use them!!!!

Ah I've been there so many times. This month I'm convinced it's the one because my boobs were tender for a couple of days and I have come down with a cold and horrible chesty cough (normally fairly resistant to bugs etc). I swear I imagine symptoms every month.

I'm only on CD24 and the tests sitting in a drawer are calling my name. If I hold out til CD30 (14dpo) it'll be a miracle...

Oh I've also had the funny taste in my mouth this month but having returned from my mum's I've realised now it's probably just the water in her area. D'oh!

i have had the metallic taste a few times. I still think they may have been chemical pregnancies as it is the same taste I am getting now.

I also have an incredible sense of smell now - just smelt lettuce (!!!?) across the room.

My symptom spotting wasn't so ridiculous this month, got BFP this morning

Other than the cat catching the mouse, signs were sore boobs (but no different to how sore they were last month, except last month the soreness diappeared the day AF came), tired (nothing new there), stuffy nose and sore throat (have cold) and heightened sensitivity to semll, although I thought I was imagining things.

I noticed last night one of my nipples, just the nipple bit not the aerola looked a bit darker than normal. Oh, and craving strawberry milk.

I have driven myself crazy by reading this thread. Now, to add to my long list above, I have:

Hair not falling out on comb in shower
Leg hair growing slowly
Stuffy nose

but...no change in sense of smell.

AF not due for 4 days. Arghhhh!!!

Ive felt a baby kicking for the last 2 years!

For me AF was due yesterday (but only just come off of the pill after 10 years so cycles a bit everywhere)The symptoms I have talked myself into having are:

-Tired (nothing really new there)
-Headache (although I have a feeling I have my contact lenses in the wrong eyes so that could explain that!)
-Needing the loo a lot

• stomach cramps
• feeling sick (not much but just enough to notice)
• Horrible taste in my mouth which is the strongest symptom and seems to be getting worse but can you get this from pregnacare?
• Spots 3 to be precise I am sure I never get them! I keep prodding my boobs but am quite certain they are not sore.

Not sure I can cope with much more of this!! Not going to test until next week. I WILL BE STRONG!!!

I got the tester out of its cellophane wrapping this morning. Then put it back in the draw.
Now I have convinced myself that I am more thirsty than usual too. And my boobs have started to hurt, but that makes me feel less hopeful because thats my usual PMT sign.

Oh this is my most favourite thread so far on MN, it completely fits in with my ridiculous 2WW induced craziness.

A few days after I OVed I had cotton mouth and was slugging water like no tomorrow, I had this taste in my mouth that felt like I had eaten deodorant!

Any way 26 now and not really any symptoms if I am truly honest with myself, a little bit of nausea but then again my 2WW always seems to involve me thinking I am feeling sick.

My boobs did feel massive yesterday and my DP even commented but think it was the dress I was wearing to be honest!
Tired? Yes, but I love sleep so any excuse will do.

I'm afraid that I have not been able to resist to test despite AF due on Tuesday. I'm on cycle 11 and it is ridiculous as I go through this almost every month.
Phantom symptoms this week have included funny feeling in mouth, feeling weak, sharp pains in lower ab and hungry all the time. Oh, I've also got a blocked nose and getting hot flushes and mood swings. Can't wait for Tuesday as then I'll hopefully find out if the symptoms are imaginary or not.

ust wanted to pop my head round, on 2nd Cycle 4dpo, and i have a lot of CM a lot!!! boobs are sore and thirsty is not the word.

God i hate these 2 weeks before the witch arrives it just drags..........

Congrats wholelottalove - wow! To be honest the only symptom I have now with a bfp that I didn't have in all the non pregnant months is nausea. I have metallic taste but have had that on bfn months too.

Ive never heard of the thirsty or hair not falling out symptoms...more things to drive myself crazy with this cycle!

So good to know am not alone in this. Last month I was convinced I didn't want chocolate or anything sweet for about a week... AF due on Sunday.

Today at lunchtime I convinced myself that my coffee tasted bitter and nasty.
2 more days to go....

Hello all! Really new to this! Been driving myself bonkers with the "am I aren't I symptom spotting every month!" Got really wiered metallic taste in my mouth (even there now and I don't think I'm imagining it!) but also getting those familiar cramping pains. Want to test but not due AF until tomorrow. Help! What shall I do? one test in bathroom. DOn't want to face a BFN though!
