Hey jo Relationship threads, oh dear!! It does make you grateful for having supportive hubby's:) though doesn't it? I have know idea where i would be without mine!! Well i do, but it doesn't bear thinking about!

God that makes him sound perfect, he's not:)

Hope your feeling better jo. How many weeks are you now? Do you know if your having a boy or girl? We've changed our minds so many times about finding out.

How's your week with DH going Fairy? What have you been up to?

Lady how are you feeling? Not long til your EPS:)We've decided not to tell anyone. apart from you lovely ladies:), until after we've had our next scan. I'm sure you haven't jinxed things, i felt the same after i decided to share our news with you all. We havent't told anyone because we don't want mum etc stressing as well as us. We are worrying enough without having anyone elses worries. Does that make sense? I've got my booking in appointment next week, evene that scares me a little Blush

How Rileigh Stac? Any news from the docs? Is there anything they can do?

Forgot to say happy birthday lady not sure of date so it might be early or belated:) Either way have a fab time in london hun xxx

jobobpip08 · 12/08/2010 16:45

Ooh yes lady happy bithday - posh hotel sounds alot better than the travelodge about iceland lol!

pops I'm 23 weeks now, can't believe its going so fast. I do also confess to reading the thread entitled 'HELP! Marble stuck up bottom'. I'm extremely grateful for DH, not only does he put up with me, he lets me spend all his money!Grin. And he irons his own shirts. (I keep 'forgetting'. For 12 years.) [roll around laughing emoticon]. I found out the sex from the amnio, something I needed to know. I'll keep it a surprise tho! I only started telling people really after the 20 week scan. Its was starting to show. There will be some surprised people when the schools go back.

Hi all,

DH off next week so lots planned. His day off on Tues was lovely. We made sure we had no plans.

Today I have been glossing the woodwork but think the fumes have gone to my head!

I want to know too (once we finally get to having a baby). I'm going text let the important people know by announcing the name instead of saying boy or girl! lol. Grin

Thanks for the Birthday wishes, it's not till Monday but we're going to London tomorrow morning until Sunday eve.

Jo travel lodges aren't to bad, there good if you want a cheap hotel but you did go for a week so a posh hotel for a week would cost a fortune.

Popsy i know what you mean about not needing anyone else to worry, everything will be fine for you this time, i just know it :)
I'm feeling so sick every day, i'm not complaining though as i'm glad i'm feeling something, it just lasts most of the day. Glad i'm not actually being sick. I'm counting down the days till my scan next thurs.

It sounds like we all have lovely dp/dh, my dp hasn't been very well but i got home from work the other day and i was craving taramasalata and pitta bread and olives, i'm sure it's to early for cravings but dp went to tesco's to get me them as i couldn't be bothered to go myself lol. I told him not to go as he was poorly but he said if it's what the baby is craving then he will make sure she has it lol :) bless him.

Hi ladies. Stressing a little and dh is working away and no one else knows I'm pregnant. So thought I'd ask you. Do you think it's normal that I haven't had any symptoms today? In fact havent really had that many. I'm jus scared that it means my pregnancy is developing. What do u think? Sorry to bombard you all. X

jobobpip08 · 13/08/2010 21:21

pops

Big hugs. Not surprised at all your stressed.
Every pregnancy is different, which isn't really helpful I know but true. I barely had morning sickness with DS1 but with DS2 and this time it was really bad. What symptoms exactly are you missing? When you have your early scan, everything was fine? Right size, heartbeat? They're both really good signs. What have you been doing today just out of interest?

xxx

popsy1 · 13/08/2010 21:31

I've had very little morning sickness and today I've Had none at all. Plus I'm usually very tired. But tonight I'm fine. Ive been mainly doing uni work all day. It's just when I was pregnant for the 2nd time I was really sick, I was off work for ages n everyone n the midwife said if you have lot of symptoms it means that the baby is developing well. I haven't got many symptoms this time so I keep thinking it means my baby isn't ok. Sorry jo you have enough on your plate without me stressing x

jobobpip08 · 13/08/2010 21:47

popsdon't worry, my plate is fairly clear and I have broad shoulders! I would say that if you haven't been feeling really sick all the way through then thats just how your pregnancy is this time. Like I said DS1 gave me hardly any MS.

Perhaps as well today if you haven't been doing much physical work then you won't be as tired. I do know MS and tiredness can start to ease off from now as well. I did actually see the other day that 25% of expectant mums don't have any MS!

I wish there was something I could say to make you feel more reassured, I don't really feel like I'm giving you much comfort. You have been through so much these past few years, its quite understandable to be worried. You must be counting down the days till your scan and i'm sure you'll be having some worry ticking away in the background until you can get peace of mind. If it really starts to worry you would there someone else be able to do the scan, rather than wait for your consultant to get back?

xxx

popsy1 · 13/08/2010 22:01

Its reasurring just having you to air my worries to jo. Im sure they sound compltely neurotic Blush. I wasn't sure if anyone would be on here.
I've got my booking in appointmnet on wednesday so i can have a chat with the midwife then. It seems so far off til the scan, then in other ways i dont want it to come in case they say those hideous words again:( So much swimming round in my head.
I think its just cause ive sat here on my own all evo thinking!!

Thanks Jo xxx

jobobpip08 · 13/08/2010 22:13

I'm on the laptop every evening, so if you want to chat on here or email, please please do. Don't keep it to yourself. Your worries are not neurotic, they are completely understandable and even women with no history have worries (in some ways more than us). Yes, I don't recommend thinking! And definitely not on your own! Leads to all kinds of imaginings which don't go anywhere good. Hard not to when you've actually been through it I know. How about start positive thinking about hearing those really good words - 'baby looks great'.

I've got to go to bed now, but I'll be on tomorrow, so here or email if you want to chat, I'm here for you xxx

popsy1 · 13/08/2010 22:19

I pray i'll hear those very words jo :)

Nighty night hun xx

stac14 · 13/08/2010 23:51

hey ladies,

popsy you don't always have symptoms hun, but totally understand your concerns. When pg i googled everything, took more pregnancy tests than i could afford and knicker checked for britain. I know that doesnt help just want you to know we're here for you x

jo omg 23wks its flying in, have you started buying stuff? What are these threads your reading? Sounds fun lol

Aw lady lucky you! Happy birthday for monday. Is your scan this week?

fairy is dh taking time off to decorate? Or do you have lots of other things planned?

Hows things going with you cloudy and highheels and clure?

Rileigh is still being sick once or twice a day. We went to the docs and she didnt want to refer us tn the hospital but the health visitor had insisted as she wants her checked over which i am glad of.

Well i am having my first night out tomorrow as its my birthday woohoo, i feel a hangover coming on. So can't wait. Also going to buy new clothes as i am back to pre-pregnancy weight (which is still overweight but at least i can diet now)

Fairygodmother1 · 13/08/2010 23:57

Nope not off to decorate - he's taken holiday so we can spend time together & lots of days out planned!!!

Sorry I can't help you Pops but big hugs are all I can offer!!!

wish dp had time to take off so we could do that, when he was off on paternity leave the house was mobbed with visitors so not much family time. Hope you have a great week hun x

jobobpip08 · 14/08/2010 19:33

Hi pops how are you feeling today?

stac the threads I was looking at come up on the most active bit at the top right - I always have a nosey. The marble one was a three year old in the bath Confused. I didn't like to ask!

Poor Rileigh, at least the HV was good (sometimes they're a real pain in the *ss!).

Fairy good for you enjoying your holiday, its all too easy to find things you have to do rather than want to.

Hows everyone else?

popsy1 · 15/08/2010 20:01

Hi all. Feeling better today thanks jo. Hubby is home and have been nausous yesterday and today:) it's amazing how happy heaving over the loo has made me feel:)
how's the weekend been ladies?

Summer hols are really flying by.
Xx

jobobpip08 · 15/08/2010 20:55

pops thats fantastic news! My midwife friend always laughs at me, she says I'm the only person she knows who would say, when asked how were things - I feel sick, isn't it great!

Got 3 more hens to join our flock today, they're a bit small to go in with the rest of the girls yet, but making little chick noises which is really cute.

DS1 is at 'holiday camp' this week, so I get some me time (and chicken time, I think) and he gets entertained for 6 hours a day! Breaks up the hols nicely.

Hows everyone else?

xxx

Fairygodmother1 · 16/08/2010 21:07

Hols going well. Well busy week with plans everyday. Glad you're feeling sick better Pops

Hooray for getting some 'me' time Jo make sure you pamper yourself. DH's cousin has chickens...being a city girl I was surprised how big they are!

Stac I'm loving your pics on FB! Rileigh is so gorgeous!!!

highheelsandequations · 16/08/2010 21:17

Hi all! How are we?

Haven't been on here for a while, back to work today so been a busy week.

Had my day 23 progesterone test this morning so will phone for the results on Thursday. Praying they're higher this cycle and give me a definite "you've ovulated" then it's fingers crossed and wait and see.

Happy birthday to Lady, hope you had a nice time in London.

And a belated happy birthday to Stac, hope you enjoyed your night out and got well and truly pissed!

Fairy glad your holidays are going well, even if busy, hope you're having some fun as well.

Pops glad you're feeling better.

Jo my DP would love chickens but I'm not convinced. Hope you enjoy the time to yourself.

Ladybird10 · 17/08/2010 21:11

Pops hope your feeling ok now, it's horrible when the symptoms disappear, i've been feeling so sick all day at work and as soon as i come home the sickness has stopped, so i start to worry, don't know why i worry that it's stopped for a few hours, i should just be grateful to feel normal again. If i'm honest i much prefer to feel sick than not as it makes me feel that everything is progressing well (hopefully)
Your lucky you have the summers hols off :)

Happy Birthday stac hope you had a brilliant night out, i bet it's nice to get drunk after 9 months of not being able to:)

Highheels hope the day 23 test comes back as Ovulated.

Jo hope your ok? I bet it will be strange without ds for a week.

I had a lovely time in London, the hotel was really nice and we had breakfast in bed. Shame it rained but it was just nice to go away for the night. I had lots of money for my birthday so thinking of saving the money and buying some maternity clothes if all goes well at my scan on Thurs.

cloudwine · 17/08/2010 21:35

Hi ladies. Just back from my hols to show of my tan (even though it's only from the chest up!)

Just wanted to say thank you to you all for being so nice before I went on my hols. Clomid can be a pretty lonely process when people say 'relax' 'it will happen, I know it will', so I'm really glad I found this thread full of like-minded girls and success stories.

Just to update you, I saw another GP before we went away, and thank goodness I did! He said he'd never heard of 75mg of Clomid and is quite happy for me to up the dose to 100mg (which I did do last week) and I can have bloods done each month to check my progesterone levels Grin He also looked at my previous day 23 bloods and said that with a reading of only 16 it was never conclusive that I had ovulated on 50mg anyway!!!!!!

Lady, popsy and Stac- GP is happy to refer us but we're taking Clomid for the maximum 6 months that the NHS offer, as we will have to fund all other treatment from then on. I don't have any other diagnosis other than I'm not ovulating, possibly due to my miscarriage. Should I be diagnosed further, or should I ask for the referral sooner rather than wait till I've taken 6 months of Clomid?

Jobo- I'm 38 next month and am starting to feel that each month is ticking by more quickly. How old is your DS1 and what will the age gap be?

Fairy- I'm further south than Cumbria! Did you try the linseeds? I have them everyday to aid digestion Blush but have found that they're quite filling and being more regular has helped me lose weight!

Highheels-

Clousy I looked into it but it didn't sound good. DH didn't want me taking it! There is something else that someone recommends but can't find it locally.
