Thanks Becky i hope everything goes to plan too. I love a good wedding, don't seem to go to many though.

Fairy hope your ok, i dont think i would cope with bleeding for so long, i hope you get it sorted and they find out what is wrong, big hugs for you. Hope your dh is looking after you

Are you ok Popsy? do you think you will be lucky this month? I know i won't be but kind of getting used to that and realising that i'll probably only get pg with medical help.

Hope everyone else is ok?

xx

popsy1 · 24/06/2010 20:27

Hi all

Lady i'm ok thanks been on a bit of a downer so havent been posting much. CD23 now and my follicle has collapsed so now just bloods on Monday and the dreaded waiting game. I have no idea if i'll be lucky this month, i just pray it is. Ive had a few pains today and tender boobs but nothing unusual.

How you doing fairy you must be so fed up with it all.
Glad you had a fun time at the wedding becky always nice to have a few cheeky vimtos, i may have a few myself this weekend

xx

Chloe55 · 25/06/2010 11:32

Hi ladies,

I know it has been quite some time since I posted on here but was meant to start Clomid at my next period as docs have told me I am not ovulating.

Guess what.......I am pregnant!!!

So, for those of you who have been told you are not ovulating don't give up hope, it seems I have had to wait forever for them to give me the meds due to hospital cock ups and losing results etc but maybe that was fate.

Good luck everyone xx

jobobpip08 · 25/06/2010 20:03

Congrats Chloe, that is really great news.

Hope everyone is doing well, Popsy thinking of you ((())), I've had a quick catch up, the thread seems to have gone a bit quiet!

Well, I'm number 2, after 2 years I am pregnant too! Funnily enough the month I had off clomid, it must have kickstarted my system. Plus I felt a hell of alot better than I had done, the clomid really did make me feel depressed.

And as things always come in 3s.....I shall be watching and waiting!

Take care everyone

Ladybird10 · 26/06/2010 17:32

congrats chloe and jo, thats lovely news, i always like to hear sucess stories, people who have been trying longer deserve it more i think.
Really hope there will be a third on here soon.

Popsy hope the blood test goes well tomorrow and they say you have ov.

I had a bit of pink on the toilet paper when i wiped earlier, doubt that means anything, i didn't have cramps so can't be implantation.

We're having a bbq tonight as such gorgeous weather

xx

beckylou85 · 26/06/2010 21:09

congrats on the positives! fab news! x

jobobpip08 · 26/06/2010 21:15

Thanks lady and popsy - that was a lovely of you to say, I will be sticking around.

I'll be 17 weeks on Monday, I would have been on before but have kept it quiet - we've hardly told anyone, the mums at school don't even know (the advantages of being fat - they can't tell if you're pg!). Having had a couple of m/c at 12+ weeks and last year at 8 weeks so I just held my breath till I got past that 13 week stage - I know telling people can't jinx it, but you know what I mean. Plus I've had 24-7 nausea until about 14 weeks. I had to have some further testing but the results seem to be coming back ok.

Yes, now I'm brave enough to start telling people I'll be back on to see how everyone is - although I have been lurking in the background keeping an eye on how you all are!

Hope eveyyone has a lovely weekend, what a scorcher.

thanks becky too

popsy1 · 26/06/2010 23:12

wow 17 weeks. I completely understand about not teling anyone, if i am lucky enough to get pg again, i dont think ill tell anyone till i absolutely have to. Glad your tests are all ok.

You about the same cd as me aren't you lady ? It could be implantation Will keep my finges crossed hun.
Hope you enjoyed your BBQ, i could've popped round

xx

stac14 · 28/06/2010 05:04

Congrats jobob and chloe when are you both due?

Mmm becky cheeky vimtos are lovely bet you had a great time. Sorry things are tough for you all at the moment. Sending positive vibesand loads of baby dust to you all.

I am having an elective c-section on 7th july due to gestational diabetes, cant wait to see her. Please don't give up x

jobobpip08 · 28/06/2010 10:08

Hi stac - thats come round quick! I hope y'll be posting photos. I'm due 6 December, but hopefully they will induce me at 38 weeks so i don't go loopy with worry! All calm at the mo.

Fairy just thinking about your bleeding - have you tried tranexamic acid tablets? The Doc would have to prescribe them, you take them on heavy days and they help reduce the flow of blood. My consultant gave them to me as I was having hugely heavy periods with big clots since the birth. They didn't work that well for me but they do work for most people. Worth a shot if you haven't tried them yet.

lady fingers crossed - I don't think you have to have cramping with implantation bleeding.

pops when do you get you blood test results back?

lady and pops, keeping my fingers crossed for your bfps

hi to rest of you ladies, sorry not been posting much but for me there has been nothing happening, this wednesday DP and myself will be attending our appointment at Guys fertility unit to discuss ivf. Haven't had a period since 2nd January. Not sure if I am now in meno or not.... who knows!! We shall hopefully have a little more of a cleared picture of our way forward soon

To the rest of you ladies a large sprinkling of babydust xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Ladybird10 · 28/06/2010 19:36

Jo i bet it feels amazing to be 17 weeks, i don't think i would show straight away once im pg as i don't have flat belly so there is more room for a baby to grow before it would start to show lol
You'll have to do all your xmas shopping early if baby is due in December.

Pops i'm the same cd as you, cd27. I doubt it was implantation as only a small bit of pink, but i will stay positive, haven't had any cramps yet but i won't be to dissapointed if af comes as i know i have iui. You could have come round for the bbq you could have joined me with a glass of wine, cheesburger and kebab lol

Stac it will be nice when she's here, i'm sure your wanting her out now as you must be big and tired

Clure hope it goes well at Guys on Wed

xxxx

popsy1 · 30/06/2010 20:10

Pops glad you ovulated, hope your lucky this month. I'm feeling fine, had pink cm this morning and tonight but tonights was more light brown than pink, a bit more than i had the other day, a bit strange as i have never had this before af, i never have any kind of spotting, but dp and i did bd last night so maybe it's from that. I'm not going to get my hopes up that it's implantation. Would think it would be to late for implantation. I've been without clomid for about 5 months. There wasn't really any point in me taking it as i ovuate on my own. Will have to start taking it when af arrives though for iui.

Clure hope it went well on Wednesday.

Stac not long now

Fairy hope your ok?

xx

Clure · 01/07/2010 21:41

hi all,

it didn't go well, but it was kind of what we expected. The consultant was lovely, but he took one look at my FSH levels, oestrodol levels, 6 months without period and said he wouldnt consider ivf with my eggs (which was what we wanted to establish) he said that even a AMH (antimullerian test) wouldnt give any clearer indication, that basically I am perimenopausal. He advised some type of HRT given that I am young to be peri meno.
DH and I don;t want to go down the donor egg route, its not for us. So ivf journey over for us.
DH and I may consider adoption a little further down the line.
We will try to draw a line under the ivf, we have done all we can to explore that avenue.

now going to get myself booked into gynae to at last get my prolapse uterus sorted out!!

So there we are, I wish you ladies all the very best in your journey's, luck is bound to come your way sooner or later, good luck stac and the rest of you mummies to be.
I may pop on here occasionally to see how everyone is doing if you don;t mind

hi stac hasn't that come round quick! Have you got all your post-section comfort tips?

I'm aiming to get induced at 38 weeks, so it'll be a november baby really. Bob is a bit excited, I think its still too far off to get his head round it yet. I'm just hoping he won't worry about things and we've had the 'you can talk to me' chat!

Do you mind posting your email again for facebook, I did have a trawl but couldn't find it? Mine is nash_jo @ yahoo . com if anyone wants it.

Hows everyone else?

Hi all,

Sorry I've not been on - manic last few weeks at school. The bleeding finally stopped over a week ago & I feel like a normal person again. Not stressing out about TTC as I know I can't do anything untill my BMI is 29. After such a big weight loss I seem stuck again! I just have to keep plodding on but a summer cold has put a dampener on the WII.

Hope everyone is ok!

Lovely to hear from you Fairy, i was getting a little worried My weight loss has slowed down as well. Hit 21lbs and seem to have plateaued, which has made me less dedicated I'm sure the weight will start to shift again hun. You have done really well. Completely understand the manic last few weeks of term, theres sooooo much to do!
clure i hope you and DH are ok. I echo what the other ladies have said. Sending hugs your way.

It would/should have been our sons 1st birthday yesterday. Bought with it many emotions and thoughts, only not as harsh and painful as last year. We headed off to the seaside, just as we did last year. A dedicated family day.
CD34 for me. Still the waiting game!
Hope everyone is well.
Good luck for Wednesday stac
