The bar is open and the ticking clock has been muffled for the duration...Come on in!

OP posts:
iggypiggy · 21/10/2009 09:29

is affectionate rilly.

skihorse · 21/10/2009 09:38

Curly Could it be anything you've eaten? I tend to break out if I eat acidic things e.g., tomatoes, strawberries type things.

waspy If it's not a baybee, have you considered ordering a puppy like iggy done did? That's also a suitable alternative.

waspylady · 21/10/2009 09:44

Curly not really calm, currently obsessing about whether to POAS today or wait......and can't really think about anything else right now.
Ski puppy would be lovely but I'm allergic it's baybeee or nuffink for me.

Where is shineycunt with her frozen fish when you need her?

Ponymum · 21/10/2009 09:49

MrP and I will both be offered the jab. When we spoke to the GP last week we all basically agreed not to bother - and GP was sort of nudging us in that direction by saying she wasn't going to take it herself! Only time I had a flu jab was the only time I got the flu. It wasn't nice. I'd rather take my chances.

scorp You make me feel so dirty and used.
(Same again tonight?)

skihorse · 21/10/2009 10:03

We're not yet having swine flu hysteria here yet - I feel quite left out...

PollyPoo · 21/10/2009 10:24

Hey Curly, sorry to hear you are feeling crappy. I agree with you on Waspy - the fact she is so calm must surely mean there will be a baybee?

I can't say I'd given much thought to the swineflu jab. I guess I'd put it off and just thought 'I will deal with that as and when I need to'. No other reason for me to have unless pg.

As for me I'm on countdown to the droid...5 days to go. I had been feeling very calm, didn't think I am updiffed, but this morning I have woken up INSANE. Can't stop thinking about it and I'm searching for clues but finding none. >> Oh when will the madness end?

Scorpette did you make the most of your soggy gusset?!

Scorpette · 21/10/2009 10:46

Thanks for the gusset interest (ya big lezzers) - FFJ is spin(nbarkeiting) out of control, plus think POK will be a big 'SHAG HIM NOW!', so will be mekkin a baybee later. Pony*, same time, same place for the warm-up? Mmmm, when you said you would ride me, I thought you meant figuratively...

Casper, hope you feel (and look) better soon; the one prob I have (and am sure we all have) is that when I'm 2WOOFLing, is that it's hard to know whether some new thing that happens to me or that I feel is a possible pg symptom or just 'one of those things' that is merely coinciding with me luteal phase. Of course, I choose to attribute it all to updiffment; makes it easier to put all the madness into one category. On the other hand, the hormones of updiff can trigger skin ishoos, so who knows? Would rubbing a bit of my FFJ on it help? No? What you lookin' at me like that for? Hmmmph.

As for swine flu - BAH. I dunno what I'd do. My crap health means that technically I should already be in the category of needing it more, but every time I've had a flu jab it's made me really ill AND I've still got flu, so it's a real quandry. Also, I had all me jabs when I was a baybee myself and I STILL had scarlet fever (nearly died), mumps, whooping cough and chickenpox desite being supposedly immunised against them, so double-BAH. I'd be scared that the jab would do something mutate-y to the foetus - I know the chances are incredibly rare but cos of my weird health (am allergic to antibiotics and all sorts of medicine) it might happen [paranoia emoticon]

Fuck me, am at home with 'This Morning' in the background and there's a piece on later about a woman who got pregnant whilst already pregnant... and not within the same cycle, either. Talk about taking the fucking piss!

Ski, are you mah fwend again? My servants have persuaded me to lower the drawbridge for you. Come 'ere!

*See what I did there? Comedy TTC genius!

Scorpette · 21/10/2009 10:48

That joke would've worked better if I'd've got the end bracket in the right place

longwee · 21/10/2009 11:00

Scorps, I've tried and tried and tried to get your joke but I just can't work out what spin(nbarkeiting) might mean. Please explain

CurlyCasper · 21/10/2009 11:01

Would help if I'd had sex since the droid arrived for me to attribute today's body nonsense to diff-ment.... Think I'll take scorps up on the FFJ offer and get started tonight!

Carrots - massively contra-indicated. As in they use one of the drugs in higher doses for abortions.

Sounds like there there's a few baybees in beshie tummies....

Laydeez, I opened a magazine, and out fell a BESH weekend away opportunity:

www.fertilityshow.co.uk Shames I is off to party in Brighton that weekend...

(two pages later was an ad for the baby show )

CurlyCasper · 21/10/2009 11:03

iggy Ouch, that punch nearly made me puke.

Scorpette · 21/10/2009 11:03

Spinnbarkeit is the proppah name for the stretchiness of FFJ (and other snots), innit. Now pop back to the kitchen and get my snack; don't worry your pretty little head about it, my poppet

Bessie123 · 21/10/2009 11:09

Oooh, Caspar, you can get allergies like that when you are updiffed, it's a kind of allergy to the baby (it goes after a few months). POAS.

iggypiggy · 21/10/2009 11:13

curly soz - have big smooch with a nipple twist.

I bet fertility show would be muchly patronising - but if we all wet and drank gin we could liven it up

iggypiggy · 21/10/2009 11:15

scorps do not - REPEAT - DO NOT... google spinnbarkeit... lot sof pictures just came up - fink am gonna vom

longwee · 21/10/2009 11:15

Ah.

erm...

Ahem

CurlyCasper · 21/10/2009 11:16

I've only just packed off the driod! (CD7). Please don't make me any more mental than I already am....

CurlyCasper · 21/10/2009 11:17

off to google that long word...

longwee · 21/10/2009 11:20

piggy - well obviously since you said don't google spinnbarkeit then I had to. VOM Emoticon. WHO would take pictures of it and put it on the internet???!

Also lol at the idea of us lot livening up the fertility show with gin and 'alternative' advice!

Bessie123 · 21/10/2009 11:22

boo, I realised I ovd this week and dp and i didn't SWI or even S at all. The tragic thing is I will probably still have 2WOOFL

Scorpette · 21/10/2009 11:33

Pigsy, it's too late. I'm not squeamish about stuff like that; I do the finger-stretch to test my own so seeing someone else's is meh.

But you are a GENIUS as regards us doing alternative advice at the Fertility Show - is it too late for us to club together the cash to book a stall? We can do some great instructional collages, involving red biros, teh baybee Jebus and spurting winkies Dunno if our strained, cynical faces and slurry voices (you lot) might stop people appreciating the bounty of our wisdom The violence might be a problem too...

Bloody hell, the pg-when-pg woman now has 4 kids. And she had PCOS or endometriosis or both. Was under 30, mind. Specialist on to discuss it said 'Mother Nature is a wonderful thing and miracles do happen' (puke). How's a bit of a hand here at the Gin Palace, Mama N? Huh? HUH?

I hate soppy Drs like that. I want Richard Dawkins on or similar to drily take the babydust out of it and just spout dull facts.

Scorpette · 21/10/2009 11:33

Bessie, what sex got to do with 2WOOFLing? Confused

Bessie123 · 21/10/2009 11:39

ah Scorpette I might know why there is no baybee in your tum tum

longwee · 21/10/2009 11:41

On the subject of FFJ I never have 'a few days' of it, I have one big (big) dollop of it once and that's that. Not sure what that means. Probably that my fertile window is 10 minutes

iggypiggy · 21/10/2009 11:51

weewee I only remember having FFJ once - back in February... and i was only one day - everything broken since then I think..
