Hardly the most original title but I didn't want to loose anyone (well that's my excuse for the lack of originality!)

morning my lovelys.....missed the party i see.....i was lights out by 9 last night.....this tiredness is verging on exhaustion.....still feel nice and bright this morning. I swing between being positive and having this feeling of utter terror and dread wash over me....still not allowing myself to think of a baby, just thinking in numbers at the moment.....

snow is really really coming down here but as my kids school is a superhightech new whizzy school its all open.....ah well, at least i don't have to 'pretend' to sledge with them.....so dangerous.....

anyhoo will post later

xxx

VivClicquot · 13/01/2010 09:38

Morning lovelies

Gutted to have missed out on the party - clearly I would have brought some Veuve Clicquot for us all to share...

Day 12 here and if my cycles are 27 days (which I think they are) I would have expected a smiley face on this morning's CB digital ovulation test. But nada. Am sure it will come over the next couple of days, but has anyone used the Clearblue digital before and not got a positive for ovulation? How do they work? This is new territory for me!

And Effi - I know exactly how you feel. The first baby I lost should be due on Tuesday and to be honest, it's all I can think about at the moment.

Sorry to everyone who has had BFNs. Don't lose heart.

xxx

tigerbear · 13/01/2010 09:48

Boodle- surely the exhaustion must be a good sign that things are progressing ok?

Viv- I'm not surprised you feel sad right now. Is there any way you can do something nice for yourself on Tuesday - day off work / nice dinner, etc. I know it won't take your mind of it, but would be nice to pamper yourself then.

Well, stupidly did another FR first thing this morning, and BFN again (how stupid was that? Like it would have changed over night!). It's my 3rd wedding anniversary today, so while I'm happy about that, I can't believe we're 3 years down the line and don't have a baby yet.

VivClicquot · 13/01/2010 09:59

Believe it or not, Tuesday is DH's birthday so it's going to be a very bittersweet day all round. I asked him last night what he would like to do - go out for dinner etc - and he's going to have a think about it. I think he's very mindful of it being a bit of a strange day for us too.

LeeWT · 13/01/2010 10:16

Hi all

sorry I missed the party.. I poked my head around the door but was too exhausted to come in.. Travelled to Dublin yday morning and arrived to snow and my manna having quite downhill.. She's still a game bird .. Showed off her tattoo when I arrived (a pain patch with words on it) and then told me to fetch her happy juice (morphine) .. She's such an inspiration..

Well no more news here have had cramps yday and today so expecting af any moment.. Bit sad but then trying to be positive as I've joined the gym and I'm going to lose some goddamn weight!

Sorry for the bfps girls.. But it ain't over til af shows her ugly face..

Re due dates and friends babies I know what you mean.. My first lost little one was due on Xmas day. A close friend had a little girl yday so I am v conscious that we are supposed to be celebrating this together and I should be on maternity leave. It's so hard because these dates are ingrained forever..

But in line with samb's pep talk- we are all doing great so onwards and upwards, we will get there!

Last and not least -CHEEPZ I can't take it anymore!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheepz · 13/01/2010 10:58

creeps in and whispers .... maybe i should go an buy some tests ....

Cheepz · 13/01/2010 11:02

I am now officially too scared to do a test, as now I am proper late, which means I am more likely preganant than not, since I am normally very regular, and even my longest cycle post mc was 30 days.

But then what if it is still a BFN ....would be mighty disappointing. I find AF starting less dissappointing than BFN's so almost want to leave it until I am so sure that AF not going to start that its a done deal

Lets face it - I am a total yellow belly

zayja · 13/01/2010 11:07

Hi Ladies,
Sorry I missed the party, I could've contributed some more Creme DeMenthe - around the same vintage!
Welcome hopeful, sorry to hear of your mc, this has been a great thread for support so you're in a good spot!
Well, BFN this AM but still no sign of AF! Of course it's only cd24 but I do normally have some spotting by now. So, knicker-checking mania for the next few days! Will test again Sat. since dh is out of town until then.
C'mon cheepz - go get those tests, it's sounding positive. you too sam FX!

randomimposter · 13/01/2010 11:08

test test test
you are properly late
go on, you know youwe wantyou to

randomimposter · 13/01/2010 11:11

x post with zayja... sorry about BFN but as you say early. Good luck

boodleboot · 13/01/2010 11:46

ah cheeps....you have done really well to last til now (especially as i started testing from 5DPO) but the time has come where you are now late and perfectly reasonable to test....

Cheepz · 13/01/2010 11:50

sorry ladies for being such a wuss, especially sorry boodle you don't need the stress in your condition!!

i will try and get to a phamacy today between the snow, work and getting to nursery on time might be challenging but will endeavor to put you out of your misery

did have to wheel out fat trousers today due to bloating but maybe thats just christmas lard ... or wind! which would account for some of the cramps.

Meita · 13/01/2010 11:51

cheepz you've got everyone excited But I totally understand your feeling. Why don't you go buy a test or two today. One that gives you lines and one that says pregnant/not pregnant. Then tomorrow, if AF has still not arrived, and if you want to, you use the line test. You can always decide to do the digital one afterwards, once you know already
I understand that a BFN would be worse than having AF arrive. But on the other hand, you are starting to get yourself into a right state of mind, perhaps if AF keeps you waiting, a test is not such a bad idea after all?
As I said to Jollster: at the end of the day, late AF is still the very very best early symptom for pgy. BTW what does your CBFM say? Doesn't it tell you that AF is overdue?
Fingers crossed tightly for you!

Sorry to hear about all the early BFNs. I suppose that's the risk you take when you test early - I'm with cheepz on that, I never tested earlier than 12 dpo. But still, the game is not over until AF arrives. So, am still wishing you all the best of luck. And if it doesn't work out, there is a new cycle - new chance, waiting just around the corner.

Meita · 13/01/2010 11:52

ah sorry, x-posted.

boodleboot · 13/01/2010 11:57

ah thats ok cheepz.....i'm just waiting for you to come have a baby with me.....xxx

Cheepz · 13/01/2010 12:00

CBFM has been flashing an 'm' at me for 3 days so I know I am well into the period due phase and I know I ovulated CD16, so CD30 would have been 14 dpo - will definitely opt for a line test over a digital, I hate those digital ones with their great big 'No you sucker you are NOT PREGNANT' in great big letters whoops, clearly some angst from last time

Has stopped snowing here so will try for Tesco on the way home for a cheap as chips HPT.

I am actually feeling fine about it, its every time I think about testing it freaks me out so not testing is working ok for me!! - its you lot I am worried about

Right got to get on with some work or I'll be fired and then I will have something to worry about!

Cheepz · 13/01/2010 12:12

oops x posted boodle - i know would be very cool, especially since on my very first post mc cycles we were matching cycles, that was when you had your ectopic but would be like coming full circle if we were both pregnant on the same cycle this time around.... see now stop it - you are making me start to really care!

MrsRigby · 13/01/2010 12:55

Oh for fecks sake cheepz, you know your pregnant, we know your pregnant - just take the sodding test.

What do you think ladies, shall I just update the list anyway?

boodleboot · 13/01/2010 13:16

i think you need to get back into bed and get out the other side.........we have to be patient....

what does an M mean on the CB thingy? i have never worked one of those....

Cheepz · 13/01/2010 13:23

owww. that hurt....

boodle 'm' means you are due for 'menstruation'

boodleboot · 13/01/2010 13:28

Menstruation...of course duuuh. i thought they would use AF.....clearly the real world doesn't work by that little acronym. Sometimes i say to people at work ' aw is AF due?' if they are grumpy and they just look at me like what????

are you going to tesco at lunch then missus??

Cheepz · 13/01/2010 13:36

snow is so bad it would take me too long, have to put boots on and get car out of car park etc, will try and go on my way home once have DS from nursery.

Thanks for being a rock B, I know I am being a dick about this, as MrsR so kindly pointed out. Just terrified to see a BFN, would rather not know ...

boodleboot · 13/01/2010 13:50

given the size of my arse right now i am more a boulder than a rock....

its very nerve wracking....especially when we want something so badly....you are def not being a dick and i know for sure that mrsR doesn't think that either....xxxxx
