Hardly the most original title but I didn't want to loose anyone (well that's my excuse for the lack of originality!)

thanks boodle - you rock

ok so further research shows that 2 lines on any test except CB digi would be a positive but apparently the digi also do a line if LH present too so could be HCG or LH but no way to tell with eye as the test is read by an optical thingamy jig. I am becoming an HPT expert. Did you also know the CB Digi measures once you get to 50ul of HCG but alot of others - all first response at 25ul - so you are far more likely to get an early result from First response! I will not be buying the Digis again!

nearly wasted another 6 quid doing the second one when needed to go again (note frequent urination) had it out of the packet and everything but managed to not do that as when did pee it was like water - would have been negative for sure - there was nothing in my pee except ginger tea.

still no AF, no trace of AF and I am totally nauseous ...

Am going to bed to spend an hour mentally debating whether to do the digi in the morning, or get first response on the way to work. Cant face another Not Pregnant - its much harsher than no line appearing, although you don't spend hours scrutinising it under UV light to see if there is a hint of a line ;)

Would rather get more sensitive test and use the final Digi only if I get bfp from another one and want to see how many weeks.

at least AF nowhere in sight at the mo ...

and no - have said nothing to DH - he would just look at me as if I am nuts

boodleboot · 15/11/2009 23:11

go to sperdrug and get one of theirs....they test at 10ml...very early...

digi's are shite then really aren't they.....i am not going to ever get one of those again....

still....no af is no af..is NO AF.....

crikey i am very excited now......

boodleboot · 15/11/2009 23:12

superdrug own ones....

randomimposter · 16/11/2009 06:58

ooooo Cheepz

  1. am in total awe at your investigative analysis - amazing
  2. TOTALLY get what you mean - hate the NOT PREGNANT certainty. NOT buying those again.
  3. have everything crossed you get a BBBBBBBBBBBBBFP this morning. Bet you have not had your best night sleep ever huh? GOOD LUCK x
Cheepz · 16/11/2009 10:05

right

so CD30 - thats definitely officially late

BUT - Second Digi this morning on pee the right colour Not Pregnant and then went to Tesco and got cheapies - also indicates Not Pregnant - no line. Not even a hint or a shadow of a line ...

No idea whats going on - felt horribly nauseous this morning, trousers are abit tight, no PMS, still feel pg

Now thinking what if I am PG but my HCG levels are really low - does that mean I might be more likely to have another mc even if I am pregnant - like its not a very strong pregnancy?

Or is it that I have had really stressful month and thats causing my period to be late

I know I have to wait and see if AF arrives but I am always 27 - 29 - even in all cycles post mc so its doing my head in

I guess no AF is no AF and I just have to go with that for now ....

Sorry to be such a testing am I or arn't I bore. [sighsindeepfrustration]

Cheepz · 16/11/2009 10:30

trace of red ...... looks like I have a visitor

crap

randomimposter · 16/11/2009 10:36

cheepz... so sorry if it IS AF...

zayja · 16/11/2009 11:14

Hang in there cheepz, may be an implantation bleed...

boodleboot · 16/11/2009 11:38

arghhhh. feckin AF.....Cheepz - all still might be ok. Its so tough when you really think you are PG....

fingers crossed for you

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Cheepz · 16/11/2009 12:19

definitely AF

gutted - did really think this month ....

timing was right, have had lots of symptoms, probably psychosomatic

thank god holiday looming (and next CD 15 will be while we are away!

on we go - cycle 4 here I come - will start CD1 from tomorrow as always start on the day monitor kicks in.

hope all else ok - forgive me have been very self indulgent and not really paying attention to anything else.

Knew there was a reason why I rarely allow myself to get my hopes up.

boodleboot · 16/11/2009 12:34

cheepz totally feeling your and and if anything like me more than a little bit of ....bloody AF.

as the great george michael says hun, we gotta keep the faith....it will be your turn one month....even if you don't feel it will....chin up chicken....xxx

i am now on CD6 and aim to BD this month on CD9 and CD12. i reckon i ov on the 11th or 12th and have a 16 day luteal phase....thats what i think and those were the days that i BD the last time i got PG. it would co-ordinate with my ovulation signals that i have observed for the last two months too.

no idea what side i will be ovulating off this month but almost don't want to know that so that i just can think it is a 100% chance of falling each month rather than recognising that oh, this is my 70% chance month.....easy to get disheartened that way i should imagine. Anyway i really am just going to trust that God will decide when the right time for us to have a healthy pregnancy is...

RunForTheHills · 16/11/2009 13:41

cheepz totally gutted for you.

I was 4 days late this month but too scared to test . Total opposite of you it seems!

Now on cycle 11 CD9 - am so getting some action this week

bigmuther65 · 16/11/2009 14:25

Well been to doctor and he seems to think maybe had a chemical pregnancy, left a sample with nurse on friday affternoon which showed possitive, but sample they took today was negative. Now left with a difficult choice as if i go down the test route have to wait for the process which can take quite a few months,or do i just put it down to nature apparently quite common to suffer a very early MC.So now thinking i could take addvantage of the so said extra period of fertility after MC,i just wish i had never poas in the first place and would of been none the wiser.I know it is a decision that i need to make just wish there was a easy answer,i just feel differnt this time my last 2 MC were awlful felt a massive sense of lost.

sunburntats · 16/11/2009 14:33

can i ask a daft question please???

if you get a bfp on the very day that your af is due, how many weeks are you aprox? Not by LMP or any of that stuff, how many weeks aprox since conception if you have a cycle of 29 days?

I cannot work out how far gone i am and its driving me mad.
Any one know?

fingerscrossedlegsopen · 16/11/2009 14:35

Now then lovely ladies, I wonder whether there is room for another post mc waiting TTC?

I just love this thread and it would be great to join the journey?

I have just had 1st mc at 8 weeks a couple of weeks ago, got DS and DSS so feel very lucky but would so much like a little sibling for the boys.

Am now on the road to WTF but still testing BFP post mc (very cruel isn't it the continuation of the symptoms?) so thinking may be some considerable time..... isn't the waiting agony? Hormones all over the place..

Good luck to you all! ( my stats - TTC#2UCL28WTF (I think that's right!!)

boodleboot · 16/11/2009 15:49

fingers - please join us, always room for more ladies willing to reveal all the intimate aspects of their journey to TTC....sorry you have found us tho IYSWIM

sunburnt - as i understand it you have at the very least a 12day luteal phase as it takes 12 days to implant...so you would be maximum 17 days since conception.... but you could have up to a 16 day luteal phase (as i do) which would only make it 11 days since concpetion....hope that helps

sending to you bigmutha - if it were me i wouldn't go the test route....it all takes time and i am waaaaaay to impatient for all that. We will all support you if you want to just get straight back on the horse (so to speak....not calling your husband a horse )

sunburntats · 16/11/2009 15:57

it does make sence boodle thankyou.

I am just clutching at straws hoping against hope that the last scan was empy becuase it was just too soon to show any thing.

I think that i am going to hold out for a bit more time this time.
Always just wanted the whole thing "over and done with" so opted for tabs & pessaries, but this time, i am going to hang on for another few weeks.
I have another scan on Wed, see what that shows. I had some brown discharge and cramps last night, but now normal discharge, and no cramps. Very sore boobs, feel very very tired and tearful today.
Havent had any more bloods as it is just slow torture tbh.
I know in my heart that this will lead to another mc. I can never muster any positive thoughts around pregnancy and me, nevr, they just dont come.
I cant even be bothered to be sad, but just occasionally, i need to cry.

I am a good person., we are good people, we just dont understand why this keeps happening to us.

boodleboot · 16/11/2009 16:33

ahhh bugger....so sorry - whats your dates and times of LMP etc for this PG sunburnt?

sunburntats · 16/11/2009 17:16

boodle, i had stopped charting in August because i was due to start clomid in Jan.

I viewed it as breathing space, no need to chart, no need to put on the calender any dates any more, til January.

It was an unexpected complete and utter surprise after 3 years of charting, timing bding and doing the deed every other day for 2 weeks of cycle...just to make sure!!
We just did the deed once, cant even remember when!
And bfp after feeling "funny".

No period in October, but defo a period in Septemebr, cant remember when.
So unlike all previous mc's, i have no idea of dates.

But scan says i have a 1cm empty sac. Going back on Wednesday to see if anything has developed in it.

Not holding out any hope at all.

Cheepz · 16/11/2009 17:20

boodle you are doing a stellar job of being super supporter today. thanks

i have finished sulking, am going to go back to being super cautious from now on!!

I hope this is right apologies if I've ballsed up.

Well all odd in this camp had a really uncomfortable pain in my lower left side today someone at work said OV nt so sure as really sore for a couple of hrs but have felt like a dog on heat so maybe
Well I'll wait another week and POAS as I have no idea whats going on

Good luck ladies and keep your chins up if its not your month positive thoughts it WILL happen. I'm off to watch I'm a Celeb x

fingerscrossedlegsopen · 17/11/2009 09:32

Thanks for the welcome on board!

Cheepz thanks for adding me to the list. Sorry that AF arrived - hopefully next month will be yours- baby dust and Christmas magic?

Sunburn really sorry to hear about your situation and thinking about you. Good luck with the scan tomorrow - are you asking for a TV? could be that just too early to see much via normal one?

Cake I get that stabbing pain in the side when OV. If you are on heat it all sounds good ;)!!

Going to have a little rant I'm afraid. Although it's been a while I still hadn't told my Dad and SM re losing the baby - they knew it was threatened but tbh didn't get in touch. Eventually rang them yesterday, went like this:-

Dad "well it must have been for a reason" (no Sh*t Sherlock!)

SM " oh well, you're still young (am 39?!) and there's always next time. Also said, did you know men who do housework have low sperm count? (my DP is a devil with the hoover) - WHAT is that all about??? (now thinking will leave the place a tip when they next come around and have a great excuse!!!;) )

Got v upset - just felt like NIL sympathy and understanding.

Sorry, rant over. Going to call Docs to book in next scan to double check all "passed" as still feeling v odd + quite alot of pain. Was anyone else also v nauseous 2 weeks post mc?

Thanks! Good luck all, x

thefatladyscreams · 17/11/2009 12:32

Sorry guys that I've not been online. We went away for a long weekend (my 41st birthday ). Was lovely but turning 41 has made me think whether we're kidding ourselves about having a child.

cheepz gutted for you. Had really hoped it was the month. I thought I might be pregnant a couple of months ago and it is amazing how the body can trick itself - at least my AF had the decency to turn up early and save me all the POAS agony. Holidays are very good for getting pregnant - so roll on next month.

Welcome fingerscrossed - sorry to hear about your m/c. Do you think you could still have some residual hormones that are causing the nausea (or have you already tested negative - just a thought). at your dad and stepmother's comments - I know people struggle to know what to say but it seems very poor that they didn't even phone. Your stepmother's comment about sperm levels and house work does take the biscuit for one of the weirdest comments I've heard in a while....

sunburnt - sorry you're going through all this. What is the latest possible date you might have conceived? I think scans can be pretty inconclusive prior to 6-7 weeks.

bigmuther - happy belated birthday you youngster. Sorry to hear your news. I'm probably being thick but what test route - testing recurrent miscarriage? Maybe just get your name on the list and see how you feel nearer the time?

beaufies - so glad to read that you're doing OK (well as far as you can in the circumstances). I think your positivity is spot on.

boodle - I believe nature has a way of correcting itself - amazing isn't it. I guess you will need to play spot the ovulation signs at your next cycle to know which side is in play?

meita - how are you doing? Hope work isn't too busy. What is the tea you referred to?

barrenbrook congrats on the new house. Just wait til that garden takes off in the spring. New house, new baby? Here's hoping.

Hello everyone - sorry I haven't posted in ages. Been away, and then didn't have internet for a while because of a stupid BT mistake (a long story!).
Not much happening here - had first 'normal' period last week, and am now telling DH we have to do a bit of BDing EVERY day for the next week or so. He seems quite pleased about that, but we've only managed it once so far!
How is everyone?? Welcome to the newbies on this thread.
