Hardly the most original title but I didn't want to loose anyone (well that's my excuse for the lack of originality!)

bigmuther65 · 12/11/2009 22:14

SO excited for you Boodleboot
DH brought me some lovely knickers for my birthday with all the shagging the elastic not very good on some of my old pairs

Cheepz · 12/11/2009 22:29

go boodle and good on mr boodle xx

Cheepz · 13/11/2009 11:28

feeling very PMT cramps feel AF not PG ... bah humbug, thank god am going on hols next weekend. need a break. will have internet though so at least can have support network with me

xx thank god for you guys

Meita · 13/11/2009 13:14

awww cheepz what a disappointment. Those hols are certainly well deserved.

boodle yay!

apples and BB I hope you are settling in nicely!

TFLS Feeling more productive? It's the weather... it must be. Yeah, low prog could be an issue... For now I'll try the ingenious cycle-phase tea and see if that helps!

louise I hope you are feeling better. Also wanted to say well done for getting your names down. I think in some ways adoption is lots like TTC, just much less private. It takes for ever... lots of waiting... lots of anxiousness... and all the time, someone is looking down your neck! Eeek. But, if it gets us there, it's worth going through!

chamooooo so glad your bean is still sticking. Hope it stays that way another what, 7 months or so? I was really worried for you there for a while. Much relieved now.

beaufies no I don't think you are being too positive. I think we need to cling to any positivity we can get! So you are doing it just right . It sure does sound promising, every second IUI gets you pg - quite a good score!

randomimposter · 13/11/2009 13:26

hello - have been reading just not posting, but thought I should stop by properly and say hi.
very impressed 65 that your DH is clever enough to buy knickers.... lucky you . Boodle great news for you too, get going you! cheepz, you never know....?

Am just starting 2ww. Am trying not to think about it too much, as don't want to build hopes up. Plus am totally knackered as previously great sleeper DS has decided to play Wide Awake Club at various low o'clocks for the last 2 weeks or so... Amazing we got any BD done... .

bigmuther65 · 13/11/2009 13:45

Just looking for some advice posted this on the August bus as well

My AF started on monday bang on time , on a normal cycle i have quite a heavy bleed for 3 days, which i had followed by 2days of lighter bleeding.yesterday afternoon had some quite bad stomach cramps followed with a heavy bleed with a few small clots.Thought this not normal don,t know why but this morning poas got a very faint BFP,so now wondering if i have had a early MC or is my body is playing tricks on me.If this was a early MC would my doctor be able to tell as after 2 previous MC i may be able to have tests done.

Cheepz · 13/11/2009 14:50

bigmuther so sorry, seems like it would be, if you had even faint bfp means the hcg in your system is at a level which would indicate you are pregnant.

if was early MC I don't think doctor can tell from anything physically because at this stage is just like heavy period, but if you see them soon enough for them to test and see the faint line that would show them that you have had an mc.

so sorry. x

CakeandFineWine · 13/11/2009 18:31

Hi ladies
just checking in quickly to say hell and let you know I'm still lurking,

BD not going well here DH had horrible cold, followed by bad reaction to swine flu jab, GRH
So my every other day plan went out of the window, according to the ovulation calender my most fertile week is this week tho so going to carry on my every other day plan from now.

Do feel like I'm due to OV soon though IYSWIM?
Have refrained so fat from buying OPK but the urge is getting stronger?!!

Cheepz · 13/11/2009 18:37

CD27 coming to an end and so far no AF. will keep you posted. Did just have sudden urge eat half a tub of ice cream but that could be PMS, or just plain old depression!

cake poor mr cake sounds like he has had horrid time.

ds vommed lst night all over the bed so a) no ursery for him today... i had to cancel all meetings b) i am on my 5th load of laundry (duvet and pillows - the works) and c) i am wondering if he has chicken pox - he was with pox kids on saturday - although didn't know at the time in which case am wondering if we will be able to go on hols next week - they don't let people fly with pox do they because of shingles and pregnant omen or something?

the joys of my day - but at least he seems fine.

CakeandFineWine · 13/11/2009 18:44

Cheepz surely no AF is good fingers crossed for you!!!
I'm sure mr cake will be fine he is a grown man, although you might not believe it if you shared a house with him this week
Your poor DS though? my DD had really bad chickenpox when she was 18mo but we were obviously lucky as no vomitting at all with it, It might be norovirus right time of year?

barrenbrook · 13/11/2009 19:20

Meita Thanks, settling in just fine, getting used to having space, and central heating, what a blessing! In the flat we had storage heaters and they are Ruuuuuubish! How are you doing and the slog of TTC?

Bigmuther65 sorry if it is a v early m/c I'm no expert but it sounds like it may be, although trying to think positively could it be implantation or something or was it too heavy for that? May be worth heading to the Dr's if it means getting a bit of investigation done into it all. Sorry, I've not been much help have I!

Boodle Exciting times ahead again for you and Mr B. Very pleased for you indeedy.

Cheepz Sorry AF got you, I am officially banishing her for next month for all of us so we can all get Christmas presents of sticky beans!

My last two cycles have been pants. I had two days of spotting which I optimistically thought could be an implantation bleed, alas AF showed up five days later, then last month I had a day of spotting then AF shows up 4 days early WTF?! Usually regular as clockwork, bang on 28 days then two WTF cycles one after the other. I am attributing it to stress of the move so hopefully this month doesn't turn out the same.

(barrenbrook gives self slap and repeats mantra must read through post before posting, must read through ....)

I meant to say Cheepz so GLAD AF hasn't got you ...

Cheepz · 13/11/2009 21:37

barrenb read your post and thought maybe I had misposted earlier?! thats how messed up the whole process is - am i arnt i am i arnt i - if I can't keep track how the hell are you guys going to xx

boodleboot · 14/11/2009 09:26

we are having the most fantastic rain where we are.....coming down like stair rods....won't be popping to the shops today thats for sure...

woken up in a very mood today as the euphoria of TTC again has been rocked by the fact that i have remembered i now only have one tube....apparently it means that the month i ovulate from the right side i have 100percent chance of conception but the month i ovulate from the left it is only 30percent as there is a 30percent chance the other tube can sweep over and collect the egg...its just whether it happens whilst the egg is viable or not or something.

i am going to have to really trust that my body is amazing and that i will get PG...

i hope that you get a BFP today cheepz.....will you be testing?

hello to everyone else

boodleboot · 14/11/2009 09:27

bigmutha.....how are you doing today? any news from the doctor?

Cheepz · 14/11/2009 13:34

No AF so far, but not going to test until monday earliest.

Cheepz · 15/11/2009 18:03

No AF still so am starting to believe might absolutely be nursing a BFP - but now too scared to test. If is a BFP will be terrified, if not a BFP will be disappointed - feels like a no win...

boodleboot · 15/11/2009 18:11

test test test test test test......

Cheepz · 15/11/2009 20:44

F*CK - caved, did test - said not pregnant - AGAIN - but am not sure - had the book symbol flashing while the timer was going off - might have got it too wet, and also had just had two glasses of water and one cup of tea so may have been too dilute? end of day and all.

I don't know, have been nauseous, AF is definitely late by my standards, just have felt and still feel like I am pg, but don't seem to be able to use the CB Digital suposedly foolproof tests right - will test first thing tomorrow - then my mind won't be able to make all these excuses for why it was essentially a BFN.

Then will just have to stop trusting my judgement completely!!

anyone else had problems with these tests - the first one i did didn't work at all.

GAH

Cheepz · 15/11/2009 21:09

ok so now i am obsessed

took the bloody thing apart and where there should only be a control line based on the way the thing works (found info on another site - thank god for internet) but there iis a second faint line on both the high and low sensitivity strips - apparently the high tells whether you are, and the low tells by how much - it says you my get a line but it will show not pregnant if the HCG levels are not high enough, so now still none the wiser but feel like a total loser for ripping an HPT apart and drawing my own conclusions about the results!

there must be hcg or there wouldn't be any second line at all..... too much tea [hopefull emoticon]?

boodleboot · 15/11/2009 22:06

oh cheepz....i have no idea what that means.....test again in the morning....ididn't even know those things COULD come apart so well done you....

xxxxxxx

i am getting excited for you though.....have you told DH?

zayja · 15/11/2009 22:39

I'm rooting for you cheepz - BFP! BFP! BFP!
