Ha Ha Frizbe, I knew there had to be a reason why our delivery was taking so long

HandbagAddiction · 20/05/2005 15:09

Frizbe - you're right, AF has not arrived yet.....guess I'm just being downbeat....

sparkly · 20/05/2005 15:15

Ohhhh, handbags ... a weakness, definitely! We went to Barcelona a few months back and I bought a fab one - actually DP did - so he can't complain in future if my addiction spirals out of control as he contributed to it!

Frizbe, not sure about testing. Keep getting the telltale signs that AF is imminent so gonna hold off for a change rather than testing and being disappointed. It's hard though to resist.

Hope everyone has a great weekend ... dp is home tonight so can't wait!!

Worriedbev · 20/05/2005 15:32

Good afternoon everybody. Do you remember me.
Well on month 14 now of ttc and on cd16 so hoping it will be my month this month. Ovd on about cycle day 10 according to ff, so hope they are right as I bedded two days prior to that and one day after as didnt want to miss it.
Sparkly - I remember you, I think, I am so sorry to hear you had a m/c, you poor thing. Glad to see you are back though wanting to try again and it hasnt put you off. Sending lots of babydust your way and hope that your next BFP isnt very far away. Did you find your periods all over the place after your m/c that is the only problem with a m/c it can make your cycles a bit irregular, but keep you chin up and I will be praying for you.
I have got my first appointment with a specialist on 5th July so hoping things will start taking off then.
love to you all
Bevx

Bella23 · 20/05/2005 15:40

WorriedBev - hello honey, how are you? Nice to see you back on here. Looks you and me are on the same cycle this month as I am on CD17. Are you going to join me for the dreaded 2ww?

Wendy - organised with only your shoes and nothing else...mmm...wonder what that means? Probably says something about your personailty

Frizbe - I hope my name was mentioned on those missing parcels as all this waiting is rediculous, really will have to start thinking about complaining to head office!

Handbag and Sparkly - hope you manage to hold out from testing and that you get your BFPs

Milosmum - that's the spirit, just got to hang in there, good days and bad. I think all this disappointment must mean that when we get our BFPs we will sooooo appreciate them!!

Well best get some more work done .....

milosmum · 20/05/2005 15:55

thanks for the vietual cash frizbe- went out and bought some virtual bags & shoes! (what else!). Things are that bad that my niece calls me Auntie Shoe Shoe!!! ha - the cheek- cute though!

Beela- i think you are right our joy will be ten times greater as we ve all had that many BFNs....

Handbag- any sign? go out and get yourself another bag as a consolation!!

Well my temp went back up and has now been "up" for 2 days after the dip. CM still not dried up and AF is due on Monday- so ill let you know if she arrives or something much nicer is about it

milosmum · 20/05/2005 15:56

sorry guys that should say "virtual" and Bella!!!

Worriedbev · 20/05/2005 16:00

Of course I'll join you Bella for the 2WW, how long are your cycles normally? Mine are about 27 or 28 days, have settled down a bit since about six months ago which is great.
I have left you a message on our personal thread.
love Bevx

Bella23 · 20/05/2005 16:05

WorriedBev - I think you have me confused with Bellalasagna - honestly I am so memorable!!.....only kidding

Cycle usually 27 / 28 too so we should be looking at the end of May to get the tests at the ready!

Bella23 · 20/05/2005 16:05

Milosmum - Beela ........quite like it!

milosmum · 20/05/2005 16:09

sorry bella!

Trix1 · 20/05/2005 17:24

Hi everyone, have not been in touch with you for a few days, gosh you have all been busy on this LUCKY thread. Its hard to catch up with you all.

I am on day 22/23 - depends if you count day one if you get af in the evening or if you count day one as the next day - what do you think????/

I am in the last few days waiting as I have a strict 28 day cycle so shall know by next weekend. Is it worth testing early....

Its our wedding anniversary on Wed and I dont know whether to risk having a drink or not... Oh I hate this waiting and then the disappointment - dont we all I hear you say.

Well hello and good luck to everyone.

romilly · 20/05/2005 17:25

welcome back worriedbev and good luck with your appt. with the specialist

wendy - thank you so much and i may well take you up on that offer (for further advice) you will rue the day you made that kind offer, when i keep asking you questions! for the next couple of months i am going to just keep trying (rom the eternal optimist) but will see my gp about getting on the waiting list in the meantime. wish you all the success in the world with your first attempt wendy.

tabs - v. interesting info there, thankyou for taking the trouble for wendy and i. much appreciated

LOL at all you bag ladies well, i just found my much lusted after celine bag in calfskin on the net, $1050 - hmmmm. that would be about 5 years supply of persona sticks and preggie tests, or even a couple of flights to NY for a romantic, unstressed weekend with mr.rom. i think i will behave myself for once and hold off. (please note i said "think")

frizbe - glad you tracked down our orders LOL - look forward to seeing those

everyone have a fab friday nite. i'm off on a girlie nite now, so that means sore head tomorrow i guess. x

romilly · 20/05/2005 17:28

trix - have a drink

Trix1 · 20/05/2005 17:28

Hi - can someone tell me what does LOL mean??? very confused

romilly · 20/05/2005 17:30

laugh out loud

romilly · 20/05/2005 17:32

trix there is an acronym list at the top of the page - but you may find some of the more specialist ttc acronyms you may have to ask us i dont think they include POAS and things like that

Trix1 · 20/05/2005 17:33

Thanks Rom

Who else is testing in the next week, Hula and Tabs and me so far. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there anyone else????????????

sparkly · 20/05/2005 17:43

Trix1 · 20/05/2005 17:53

charleepeters · 20/05/2005 18:19

munz · 20/05/2005 18:47

afternoon all,

am feeling v v unsociable at the minute so i'll only be quick,

bella - I hope the god's r in our favour this month, I couldn't manage another month of TTC it's really getitng to me now. have a slight prob thou, I currntly have no PG tests in my cupboard - now then, do I buy the 5 for £5 from ebay and have them incase then get depressed and cry when i'm not PG or do I not buy then an think well I might be i'll buy a test tomorrow? what do u recon? also as well, my CM seems's to have copmpletely dryied up (I know TMI - but all last w/e mon tue and wes was really really EWCM but persona said no, bd last night as there was a bit of CM today's non excistant) althou I must admit that one of our dogs has been lieing in between my legs when I go to sleep (shes ontop of the covers by the way) and resting her head on my er, foof bit (I do have covers over me by the way) also our other dog keeps resting his head on my tummy so i'm hoping that we've made it this month. poor DH if we havent' made it. anyhow i'm off to wallow and try to work my knitting machine.

Frizbe · 20/05/2005 18:59

Ar, bella, I've just called them re your order missing also, that's stuck in Southampton, seems it fell off a belt somewhere! should be on the move soon though

Hi to worriedbev, welcome, hope you have a short stay now!

Trix1, there are three of us testing at the begining of this week, no make that four, I think? should be Milosmum, Me, Handbagaddition and Teuch I think? Handbag and I are on 32 day cycles, so Tue I guess, but I'm gona cave in and test on Mon if no AF by then.

Have a good weekend guys, although no doubt I shall pop on from time to time!

Oh and Munz, virtual chocky and another £500, as you really sound like you need bags n shoes.

munz · 20/05/2005 19:03

ooh w/e testers, please come to the checkouts located at HQ main office to collect ur orders, all non show's will be held over till next cycle - be there or be square!

Friz - TBH I don't go in for shoes/bags, i'm a choc and clothes sort of a gal, althou at the minute i'd trade it all to have a little beanie.

OP posts:
Frizbe · 20/05/2005 19:10

I could send you a virtual beanie? hows about you set your alarm to wake you up all night at 3 hour intervals, when you wake up to turn off the alarm, just throw some water on the bed, where your boobs are, just for that leaky milk effect, oh and you must acutally get up at least one of the times and go to the loo, (as opposed to changing a nappy!) better get some practice in after all!
