Hi JamieJay

It got me last night, just after my little ranting session on here. Well that would defo explain my grumpy mood last night. Went to bed hoping its implantation bleeding, but when was still awake at 3.30am with cramps, I'm guessing its defo AF.

Oh well, a new AF, a new month of BDing, scattering babydust and mad symptom spotting during the 2ww.....

LeeWT · 03/08/2009 11:18

lou sorry the witch got you but as u say onto more bd! Maybe good thing that you'll have the flu over you..

Jamie here's hoping it's implantation pains and not af it took 6 wks to get period after my mc..

Took test this morning someones having a laugh bfn! Just want af to come so I can stop obsessing!

LeeWT · 03/08/2009 12:46

Girls girls girls... i have been feeling so sick all morning so went and bought a clear blue test (the one with the cross or negative not the words) and there is a very very faint positive.

its also a digital display so shouldnt show anything if theres not something there?!

DRIVING MYSELF CRAZY here can anyone tell me to get a grip?! anyone had experience of these?

JamieJay · 03/08/2009 13:01

ladyLou83 Good luck on the May bus, seems to be quite a crowd building. I sure you understand that I'm hoping I won't see you on it but suspect it's only a matter of time.

LeeWT sorry you got a BFN, hope AF stays away.

AF hasn't arrived yet but not overly confident, plan to test again tomorrow morning but after the emphatic -ve yesterday can't see how it can be a +ve tomorrow.

Anyone else testing in the next couple of days? TeaFan, SummerC, anyone? It's all gone very quiet round here today

JamieJay · 03/08/2009 13:05

LeeWT sorry didn't see your post. I would take that as a faint +ve and test again in the morning, sorry to shout but testing all day will just you insane(r)! Looks like it could be good news for you though

This never ending limbo is draining isn't it

TeaFan · 03/08/2009 14:23

Thanks Sweetkitty

Sorry AF got you Ladylou, really had my fingers crossed for implantation bleeding for you...

JamieJay and LeeWT, fear I may be joining you in Limboland... had some pinkish/brown mucus yesterday and at day 27 really too early for AF for me (11DPO). It got a bit darker but has now completely disappeared so I can't help but feel a little optimistic. Don't feel my usual pre-AF anger yet but am completely exhausted despite an extremely early night. Guess i'll just have to wait and see.

UmBongo · 03/08/2009 16:12

Really pleased everyone else has had a damm good rant these last couple of days. I was doing fine over the weekend til someone yesterday said Are you having another one then? Followed by "you shouldn't leave it too long you know" I would have given him the unvarnished truth if I could have done it without blubbing.

I definitely agree with the sore boobs theory, the other one is that if ds sticks his elbows in my boobs that can lead to sore boobs too. Of course that leads to obsessing about symptons, not the ridiculously rational idea that they hurt as they have been elbowed by small wriggly ds! (Rational - me - NEVER! )

Elliemama · 03/08/2009 17:20

Has anyone tried the 6 days before you're due preg test... I'm thinking of getting one tonight so can test tomorrow rather than have to wait another week but not sure how accurate they are!

Ladylou83 · 03/08/2009 17:27

I though the FR HPT was meant to be quite good at picking up early pregnancy hormone, then the more people I talked to about it were like the % they give out in the small print arent very good. It didnt stop me from using them though. They are on special in boots at the mo

Elliemama · 03/08/2009 17:34

Thank you Ladylou83 may go and get one tomorrow then... Can't really stand all this waiting around to find out its definately driving me crazy... Have wasted so much money on tests over the last year tho...

wellieboot · 03/08/2009 18:06

omg...

BFP!!!!!!

AF due around about now, but have been feeling a bit 'odd' so did a test today! JamieJay, LeeWT and TeaFan - will keep my fingers crossed that you will be joining me soon. Good luck to everyone.

JamieJay · 03/08/2009 18:32

wellieboot congrats, that's fab news, have to put yourself on the Due April thread. Hopefully some of us willg et to join you soon.

TeaFan limboland is hell isn't it, but your symptoms are sounding really positive. When are you thinking of testing?

UmBongo sorry people can such tactless idiots, hope they didn't upset you to much. Where are you in your cycle (sorry for nosiness - can't spot you on the list)

Elliemama I know how hard it is, but I'd really suggest waiting a little longer before testing. There are so many risk of being upset by early testing (believe me I've been there) that it's really not worth it IMHO. If you do test I hope you get good news though

LeeWT have you managed to avoid testing again? I'm testing in the morning (at about 5am as have to out the house by 5:40!!) if you want to join me.

me I still have no AF, sore boobs, major hunger, headache, funny taste, tiredness (but that's normal, love my sleep), puffy stomach and super smell so still waiting and hoping!

Ladylou83 How you doing?

LeeWT · 03/08/2009 18:56

elliemama I agree with jamiejay early testing is a curse!! I've been testing for a week and have been driving myself crazy .. I've gotten very paint positives but my research shows this could mean bad news down the line so believe me next month I won't be doing this next month it completely takes over..

jamiejay I'll def test with u at 5am tomor morn have managed to avoid temptation so far but have been feeling so sick all day think it's from stress.. Never felt sick early on before..

Congrats on our newest bfp and fingers crossed for more!!

sweetkitty · 03/08/2009 19:06

wellieboot - congratulations

LeeWT - looks promising for you

Jamiejay - fingers and everything crossed

Teafan - and for you too

Elliemama · 03/08/2009 19:44

Yay for another BFP, wellieboot

LeeWT JamieJay and Teafan - sending you lots of good vibrations

Elliemama - can I add my voice to those advising against early testing? I P'edOAS (FR)5 days before period due first month of ttc this time - got a faint but definite line, started inwardly celebrating and thinking of names that go with ds's, and sure enough 2 days later I got a BFN... A chemical pregnancy I guess, but still very very gutting.

Umbongo - know what you mean. We conceived ds literally 1st shot. He's 3 and a half now, and I did want a longish gap, but I suppose I'd been half assuming it would be just as easy this time... And I'm always getting the "So, when are you going to have number 2?" comments, along with "you don't want to leave it too late" etc. Grrr

Elliemama · 03/08/2009 20:43

I don't understand - what is a chemical pregnancy??

Elliemama · 03/08/2009 20:57

Have looked up chem preg on google so need for explanation now ta. - very sad tho.
My ds was conceived accidentally so I've never been through all this before... Been trying for a year now and no luck. Still breast feeding tho so maybe that's why...

JamieJay · 03/08/2009 21:00

Elliemama A chemical pregnancy is where the egg is fertilised but implantation fails and AF starts, more often than not someone would just think their period was late. The risk with testing early is you'll get a +ve because the hormones start to go up but the pregnancy fails before it's even started properly.

I've never suffered a chemical pregnancy but just having repeatative BFN can get very draining after a while.

JamieJay · 03/08/2009 21:02

Sorry Elliemama we cross posted. I've heard a few people on here mention breastfeeding slowing down conception but don't know how true that is. Hopefully someone more experienced will come along - I'll try for number one

ApuskiDusky · 03/08/2009 21:09

Hi all, May I join you? I have taken my time in coming over from the March bus, because I think it works best for me to not think about this too much for the first couple of weeks of my cycle, and then when I get into the 2ww, I need the support to not test too soon! I recognise a few names from the end of March bus, hello all.

Stats:

Oops sorry, wishing my life away:

TeaFan · 03/08/2009 21:16

Wellieboot Happy days!! This really is a very lucky bus, our stats ar far better than average with quite a few passengers left to make their way to the front of the bus!

Thanks for the encouragement JamieJay, am still feeling a little sceptical after a few months of disappointment tho. The brown gunk has now come back but not a hint of red and no cramps etc, no other symptoms of AF or pg so don't ask me what's occuring! I am only 12 DPO though and my LP is usually longer. Not thinking of testing until at least the weekend as have total POAS phobia! Plus, as evil as AF is, I still prefer her to a BFN
