Hello ApuskiDusky, you're already half way through the 2ww - hope we can all help you stay strong and not test until AF due, this is the first month I didn't (really) test early and I was still peeing on a stick on CD26!!

It's my mission to not test until after AF is late one of these months

Ladylou83 · 03/08/2009 21:19

Congratulations Welliboot . April has turned out to be a very lucky bus. Maybe its lucky monday, as opposed to what was yesterdays unlucky sunday??

Hey Jamiejay I'm good, defo feeling more upbeat than yesterday. At least AF is here and it gives me an excuse to gorge on chocolate for the next few days. Just need the SF to go, and get back to work (cant beleive I have just written that, but am truely going insane from being stuck in house). How long are u going to wait bf u test? (lucky day 33 maybe?) Fingers crossed for, have cereals in the morning and sprinkle lots of babydust over them

JamieJay · 03/08/2009 21:21

LeeWT I will post my results at 5:30 tomorrow, hopefully we'll both have BFP to celebrate

TeaFan know what you mean about BFN, that's part of the reason I've stopped using the clearblue digital tests, the 'Not Pregnant' was harder to read than just seeing a single line. Everything crossed for you til the weekend.

ApuskiDusky · 03/08/2009 21:24

Thanks JamieJay - yes, I have managed to distract myself OK so far, but now I'm entering into first response territory (and 3 little tests waiting upstairs), it's a whole different ball game!

Today was my first day of pseudo-symptom spotting, I'm getting a sensation in my boobs that really feels like the let-down of breastfeeding (obv no milk, that would be weird 10 months after stopping breastfeeding!). No idea if it's a symptom or my imagination though. The joys of 2ww!

Im am so getting up early 2moro to read ur results jamieay. Fingers crossed for you.

Have decided that am just gonna stick to Tesco cheapies next month. I agree, horrid when clearblue just comes up "Test says no", and not going down First responce route either (too expensive + false promise of early result). At least with tesco cheapies you can have 5mins of fun turning stick in all strange angles hoping that there could be a really faint line somewhere.

Ladylou83 · 03/08/2009 21:42

Sorry just had to change me slightly. AF started yesterday, so on CD2 today.

JamieJay did you do your test at 5.30?

I still have brown gunk, it's got slightly worse but nothing even near AF - if i'm honest it's started freaking me out slightly, wish it would stop or turn into AF. Anyone else had any experience with this? It is different to the usual pink/brownish mucus I sometimes get before AF and started a few days earlier. Am staying calm though, I know by now that my body doing something weird doesn't mean I am pg!

Sorry for any mistakes, my head feels like it has cotton wool in it today!

morning!

Weellll i did a test early this morning.. and positive

BUT - still faint so please dont put me on the gradutes list just yet. i am an emotional mess panicking that its a cp..

also after having a mc i didnt realise how much differently (afraid) i would feel about it.

thanks for listening girls.

teafan i'd give your drs office a call about that im sure they can pur your fears at rest.

jamiejay what gives honey?!

macana · 04/08/2009 10:14

this has to be a record-breakingly lucky bus!!!

huge congrats to all new graduates! I've still got waaaaaaaay too long to wait to see if AF turns up - how terrible to wish weeks by just to know! Swore with baby 2 I wouldn't do this, but ttc does tend to take over your life! Good luck to everyone approaching D-day....

TeaFan · 04/08/2009 10:50

LeeWT OMG OMG OMG! Sending all my positive thoughts your way

My docs are useless and would prob just tell me to wait a few days. Am now 13DPO and this has been happening for 3 days. No other symptoms, no cramps, no bloating, no pre-AF waight gain and no untoward pain. I definitely OV'd as got positive OPK plus all the usual signs.

The only upside to my little mystery is that I am having to have a giggle at the constant knicker checking - the people at work must wonder what is going on as i've been to the loo about 6 times in less than 2 hours!

TeaFan · 04/08/2009 11:52

Lol, think I have to stop knicker checking now, one of my colleagues just said 'are you going to the loo AGAIN!?!?!' Actually, a bit cheeky when you think about it

sweetkitty · 04/08/2009 11:56

LeeWT - mini congrats to you hope it turns into a nice big positive for you

Teafan - very strange nothing to advise sorry you have doen tests haven't you???

Nothing to report here bleeding seems to be easing off which is a good thing.

chowmein · 04/08/2009 13:14

hi all, i m new. have just got a + from a clearblue test, so i guess i m pregnant, tho part of me is not sure. might do another test in a few days time. never done a test b4, keep thinking i m not doing it right. my cycle is normally 28/29, and today would be day32.

this is our 1st month of trying, and have been figuring out ovulation signs and all that. as i had no clue.

i m 32, fingers crossed all goes well, as i m a bit of a worrier

Wow, congatulations chowmein, fancy getting it right on your first go Welcome to the thread, worriers are in very good company here! Wait it out with us but as most MNers will tell you a line is a line is a line so looks like your preggers!

No Sweetkitty, haven't tested yet due to POAS phobia, do you think I should given the circumstances? I'm only 13DPO.

TeaFan · 04/08/2009 13:47

Oh, and welcome Lizkin x posted!

Just popped on to see how we're all doing - HEAPS of grads - big congrats to you all :-)

Anyone else getting towards the end of their 2ww? I'm about 10 DPO. Last month AF got me 12 DPO. So am feeling v v nervous. Have been taking fertility drugs (as I don't have a natural cycle) - and the drugs cost over £600 for this cycle (!!!). Unbelievable, uh? It's IVF for me if this cycle fails....so I need lots and lots of luck. Who's already symptom spotting? I had tummy cramps yesterday and was terrified it was AF....but no other signs yet...

nanoo · 04/08/2009 14:22

PS what's happening TeaFan? Has the bleed stopped? Are you OK?

Ladylou83 · 04/08/2009 14:31

ahhhhhhhhh.....crap just noticed my error, I meant to say LeeWT, not Teafan , so sorry

Ladylou83 · 04/08/2009 14:44

What I was trying to say was:

Congratulations chowmein, and fingers crossed LeeWT that the line becomes biggers stronger and brighter....

So sorry for the confusion

TeaFan · 04/08/2009 15:16

Don't worry LadyLou, I knew what you meant!

To be honest nanoo i'm starting to feel really upset , tired of knicker checking and the brown gunk is not getting any lighter/heavier so really don't know what is happening. Have no other signs of AF yet and thought my LP was longer. Don't want to pay good money to test just to get a BFN becuase i'm pretty sure i'm not pg ... this doesn't really fit the profile of implantation bleeding.

Last month I was really late and my boobs were killing but that turned out to be caused by the short course of steroids I took for my allergies. Ended up looking like a right phantom preggo loon.

Arrgghhhh, come on AF just knock on the bloody door instead of dancing around on the doorstep My body was perfectly reliable till I TTC and now it just does random things every month in a bid to drive me insane, well i'm not falling for it again.

Rant over Guess AF must be almost done with the dancing and about to barge through the door.

TeaFan · 04/08/2009 15:22

Lol, just read that post again, bet any money today will end up being CD1
