Ladylou83 your babydust and good luck message almost brought tears to my eyes. Hey, being emotional can be a sign of pregnancy can't it - not that I'm symptom spotting or anything!

LeeWT ttc and having a life aren't compatible! You're right about this Sunday not being lucky fingers crossed there are more BFPs by the end of the week.

LoobyLou82 · 02/08/2009 13:57

sweetkitty i am no longer on the bus as i had a chemical preg in july so i decided to stp trying. it was starnge reaading your message about your mc. It was like reading my own on last months bus. The same thing happened to me, exactly 2 years to the day too i suffered my second mc. I was only 1 week late i had got a bfp and it never got darker. I knew i was having a mc and just had to pass the time until the bleeding started. It has been 3 weeks almost now and im ok. I am sorry that it happened to you. Have faith in your body that it recognised a problem at this early stage and altho it is painful it is just yourbody telling you that it was not perfect. You only deserve the best and your body knows that so it is making sure you get the best healthiest baby you deserve. Thats how i get through it myself. Love and hugs x (im off the bus at the mo for a few months until my hip gets better and until i have the strength to ttc again)

TeaFan · 02/08/2009 14:18

Hi Looby, glad you're still popping in to keep an eye on us!

Well, you ladies have been busy, really sorry it wasn't a luckier day but congrats to NoCoffeeNoWorkee & Bungo101, hopefully we will all be joining you soon.

Who else thinks NewMember is a total hero for her new relaxed approach? Not knowing what cycle day i'm on is something I can only aspire to!! Hope she has a fab holiday and comes back waving a BFP...

Something odd is happening here, I am 11 DPO and have pink/brownish mucus. It really is too early for AF as my LP is around 15 days and I haven't even had any pre-AF cramps yet so i'm not sure, am trying to put the words 'implantation bleeding' out of my head and keep busy! If it stops and AF doesn't arrive within a few hours then I will start feeling optimistic. Can't believe I may have to contemplate POAS again, I have a total phobia

Ladylou83 · 02/08/2009 17:21

Is anybody fed up people saying it will come naturally, when all you can think about is getting a BFP????

Sorry, needed to get than one out of the system...Although i do agree with TeaFan , cant believe how relaxed you are about this Newmember , I admire than, maybe I should take a leaf out of your book

Ladylou83 · 02/08/2009 17:24

oppppsss....few typos then

TeaFan · 02/08/2009 20:38

Hi LadyLou fortunately I haven't had anyone spouting cliches at me as noone in RL knows I am TTC, well apart from DP Although I am going to have to find a good excuse when I do announce i'm pg as we have spent the past 10 years telling anyone that would listen how we didn't want any Don't know why we did that because we always wanted children but just got really fed up of people asking when it would be

People are either pressuring you to have them, telling you how to go about getting them or then complaining about how you're raising them! The thing is no-one understands, we are not asking for advice or solutions, we are just enjoying having a rant and just want someone to say 'yes, it's very bad, poor you, you are a saint for putting up with it', that is the only thing that would make us happy.

LeeWT · 02/08/2009 20:42

teafan and lou i know how you feel - even tho we have a 2yr old and people were making comments about when the next one was due, no one knew we were trying until I had a mc.. now i feel like people in work etc think its only a matter of time which is just pressure. not that i havent been pressuring myself!

decided to drown my sorrows in an ENTIRE bag of sensations and tub of hummous mmmmmmm

JamieJay · 02/08/2009 21:01

We've been pretty lucky when it comes to other people hassling us about babies.

PIL are desperate for a grandchild but have been pretty tactful overall. Only a couple of our friends have had children so babies aren't really a topic of conversation as we're ahead of the game IYSWIM.

I couldn't guarantee bitting my tongue if I did have people making comments

LeeWT I know what you mean about people thinking it's only a matter of time following a mc, whilst MIL is being tactful you can see the excitement on her face whenever we even suggest we have something to tell her - even when it was about buying a new TV!!

Ladylou83 · 02/08/2009 21:17

My mother rung me up today to see if I had grown a tail (SF, great) and started oinking, or if I have had a BFP yet. For the last 7years of having BF's she has been anti-babies, now withing 6weeks of being married, its now part of the everyother day phone-call. Then there is the MIL, who has already brought me a book on conception, told me I must have a boy, and also time my pregnancy with my sister in law, so she only has to come home from spain once, and can fit us both in at the same time, and then reminds me that it all happens within time.....bless her...ideal thinking...

I know my AF is on its way with this grumpy mood im in.

JamieJay · 02/08/2009 21:19

Excuse the annoucement, but......

MY BOOBS HURT!!

Strange thing to tell you I admit but DH is bored of me going on about them, especially with the BFN this morning and him not wanting me to get my hopes up to much!

Ladylou83 · 02/08/2009 21:20

WHOOP WHOOP!!!!!! Sore Boobs!

That has got to be a good sign surely? Fingers crossed it is a positive sign x

JamieJay · 02/08/2009 21:21

Ladylou83 I find chocolate a fab treatment for grumpiness. Sorry you're getting hassle from family, MIL seems to be on a different planet - but her being in Spain sounds like a good thing

JamieJay · 02/08/2009 21:22

I think it could be a good sign but am symptom spotting like anything.

Moodiness is also a good sign you know!

Ladylou83 · 02/08/2009 21:48

I hope it is, but kinda thinking I've asked too much of my body this much:

*Tried to stop smoking (have cut down to a few a day, but cant quite seem to knock it off entirely). I know its terrible that Im still on a few a day, but its an improvement than the 15 a day at the begginning of the month.

*Had to change some medication this month to another type, which has just thrown my system entirley.

*Swineflu and taking tamiflu. Just making me feel sick to the core. Day 3 of 5 of being stuck in the house.

*And the normal pressures that come with TTC. I know its only the 1st month, but I guess everyone hopes they can catch on the first try.

I think I have just wound myself up today, hopefully 2moro I'll be feeling better from SW. My poor DH has had to deal with my grumpyness a lot today, bless him....

I think its not the month for us this month, but I cant help symptom spotting too. . I'm so hoping the cramps I've got are implantation pains, but there in the lower back, so I think they are on the wrong side. Although, saying that, my nipples (well the area around them) are big and dark. Sorry TMI, but they are, lol

Sorry for the rant. Shall be back to happy self 2moro, and scattering babydust to everyone . Thanks for not telling me to grow up Jamiesjay , I know I rant a lot

JamieJay · 02/08/2009 21:57

With all that going on you have grounds to rant without anyone telling you to grow up, and just because it's your first month doesn't mean you're not allowed to get stressed about it!

I've spent the entire 2ww bitching and moaning that I didn't ovulate and am now symptom spotting like some mad thing.

Hopefully tomorrow will bring a better day, the week may even bring a BFP or two!

LeeWT · 02/08/2009 22:05

Meanwhile back at the ranch... LeeWT is peeing on anything stick like she can find, including running experiments with ovulation tests to compare evaporation lines.

DH keeps catching me on mumsnet and telling me not to obsess.. then said that since we BD'd today, maybe that will be the one. Like HELLO dont you know anything?!?! im on CD29 goddang?! poor poor man.

Thought for the day - Did you know that if you punch yourself in the boobs several times a day to check if they are sore, you do in fact end up with sore boobs? interesting.

Fact of the matter - is that the two HPTs and one Ov test ive had have fainter than fainter than faint lines which didnt even come up at the time but i am now convinced this is important. i have worked out that if the cramps on thurs were implantation that i prob wouldnt get positive test and the truth of it is - i think AF is afraid to visit. So I am psychologically (or psychotically) in limboland.

Just thought i'd make everyone feel better if you're not as crazy as me

LeeWT · 02/08/2009 22:06

oooh and ladylou i think you're doing great. I'd have jumped up and down like rumpelstilsken til i got HPTs to take i think you're a marvel!

Ladylou83 · 02/08/2009 22:06

I hope so. I'm really enjoying MN at the mo, full of other mad symptom spotters like us, who all seem so lovely and have had some really wise words for me. So yep, hopefully this week will bring some BFP for all the lovely ladies in this group. Yay

Ladylou83 · 02/08/2009 22:13

LeeWT that was Quality!!!! I love the sore boobs theory

I'm wondering if I re-peed on on the used HPT, it would change into a BFP???? Any thoughts.... (Wonders of DH would notice me rustling through the bathroom bin)

Ladylou83 · 02/08/2009 22:15

OMG what is wrong with my typing tonight..?

JamieJay · 02/08/2009 22:20

LeeWT/Ladylou83 Think we're all as mad as eachother here.

My life seems to consist of checking for EWCM, sticking my legs in the air post BD or checking symptoms which generally involve my boobs or my digestion

Why can't there be symptoms that doesn't involve funny tastes, smells, bloating or your boobs!

sweetkitty · 02/08/2009 22:24

Looby - sorry you had to go through it too and so sorry if my post upset you, I'm not too upset about this CP thing as I was never pregnant IYSWIM and was wanting AF to start as I wanted to get into a cycle again if that makes sense, try to enjoy your TTC break and hopefully will see you back soon when it WILL be your turn

LeeWT - love love love your symptom spotting and your POAS obsession, I have been pregnant 4 times now so am a veteran of POAS and symptom spotting even though I do not get any symptoms of being pregnant until about 8 weeks doesn't stop me inventing some though

Ladylou - your MIL sound erm a bit barking sorry, and sorry you are getting it in the neck so to speak on the TTC front, I keep getting the "are you going to keep going until you get a boy?" or "are you trying for a boy then?" as if DD3 is a silver medal, the reason we are TTC#4 is we both adore DD3 so much that we cannot bear for her to be our last baby and we both want one more little person, if another DD (which she will be) we will be more than delighted, I have 3 DDs and they are all different. And never apologise for having a good old rant and whinge on her it's what we are here for and it always feels better to get it out and off your chest, feel free to rant away

JmaieJay - hope your boobs stay sore

Teafan - everything crossed for you too

Ladylou83 · 02/08/2009 23:27

The BIG Fat Red lady is singing to me. Looks like AF has caught me. I knew the witch would....(either that, or its implantation bleeds? ). It is very light, and a strange colour....?

Well Im going to still hang out on this bus if that is ok, as have met so many lovely ladies here, and would hate to not have natters with you all. Going to add myself to the May bus, just incase it is AF proper.

Time for me to update our list i guess...Right to the bottom for me

I think I will be joining the May bus soon, b00bs aching slightly (if I really focus on them) and I've got that heavy feeling low down that I always get before the witch turns up and I've got a really heavy day in work today as well. Mother nature would have to give me an extra long cycle this month wouldn't she

Anyone testing this morning??
