Hiya apples you're not speaking to yourself, I'm still on board!! If I get a BFP then I'll be due about 30th April according to all those due date predictors you get online so I'm still here just now. Currently sitting at CD27 and so tempted to test tomorrw but was trying to hold out till Sunday.

I take it you're still waiting to test too? Not many of us here still left to test and it does feel like everyone's slowly abandoning us!! Cheer up you're not on your own yet!

Trying4Baby1 · 20/08/2009 20:30

Looks like I'm on my own now though!

MrsRigby · 20/08/2009 21:07

Evening everyone - oh it's just you and me applesaretheonlyfruit and trying4baby1.

applesaretheonlyfruit it sounds very positive for you, hopefully it was an implantation bleed. I have my fingers crossed for you.

porcupine11 congratulations.

grinningbee fingers crossed for next time, hopefully I'll see you on another thread.

I keep switching between thinking I'm pregnant and trying to accept that I'm not. DH, DS and I are going down to Cornwall for a week next week and I just know AF will pick then to turn up. I really hope I'm pregnant, although god knows when I should test.

Fingers crossed to anyone else still here.

Trying4Baby1 · 20/08/2009 21:16

Hiya MrsRigby what's your CD? I'm getting a few symptoms only problem is many of the symptoms could also mean arrival of AF. Relatively new to all this TTC business. I'm CD27 just now and I'm really tempted to test tomorrow but looking for advice. Do you think it's too early?

MrsRigby · 20/08/2009 21:52

trying4baby1 so nice to speak to someone on this thread .

I've no idea what CD I'm on , I forgot to write down when AF visited and so now I've no bloody (pardon the pun) idea where I am. All I can remember is that my period lasted for about 6-7 days finishing at the end of last month. So I've no idea if I'm even on the right bus . At a guess I'd say I was about CD26/27 too.

Yesterday I was absolutely convinced I was pregnant as I felt sick in the morning, however, this morning nothing. I'm still having cramping (though not as much), blue veins on both my breasts (but I've only just stopped breastfeeding a month ago), sore ribs (I blame DH for that) and feeling uncomfortable when sitting down. Most of the time I just feel pregnant, but maybe that's because I want it so much.

I'm with you on not knowing when to test as I have PCOS which complicates matters. I think I'll wait until 1st September - if I can . It's so hard not to test though, the not knowing is horrible - it drives you insane. You could always test tomorrow, but it might be too early - what's your UCL?

I have my fingers crossed for you.

I suspect I may be the only one left on this thread in about a weeks time .

Trying4Baby1 · 20/08/2009 21:57

I've recently come off the pill so no idea of UCL but I always used to be about the same time each month before starting on the pill (from what I remember) so I think I'm probably 28-30.

I think I'm just going to test tomorrow morning (if I remember) and if it BFN then fine. At least then I can stop obsessing for a few more days again! Well maybe

applesaretheonlyfruit · 20/08/2009 22:26

Hi!

Yes, I'm about 27ish as well, but after my mmc and ERPC this would be my first period since then, so system may be a bit haywire.

I would also be due 30 April if this works out...

I am going to wait until Sunday to test. Unless I change my mind. No, Sunday. Let's wait together.

Trying4Baby1 · 20/08/2009 22:38

Aaargh, I don't know what to do now. I was going to test tomorrow morning!

applesaretheonlyfruit · 20/08/2009 22:55

Well, you could, but might be 2 days too early, then a BFN would be a downer..and if AF turns up by Sunday, it won't matter.

The testing problem is an issue.,, last time I tested from day 8 after ov'ed, and it was a waste of time until day 28, but I have a slightly shorter cycle (or did).

I am not going to stand in the way of an individual's right to pee on a stick, though.

Trying4Baby1 · 21/08/2009 09:23

Hiya all, decided what the hell I'll do a test so did one this morning and BFP!!! Still can't believe it. OMG well no going back now . Showed DH as I hadn't even told him I was testing just incase I got a BFN. He just looked like he was in shock. Line wasn't really dark and I know that doesn't matter but going to do another test on Sunday as it should be more pronounced and might help it sink in a bit more!!

Still can't believe it but had to tell someone so you guys are my someone. Feel sorry for DH as we decided not to tell anyone till after first scan and that would be ages away. Never mind he's better at keeping a secret than me!

applesaretheonlyfruit · 21/08/2009 09:45

Contratulations Trying4Baby1!.. Another BFP!! Get yourself over to the due 2010 thread. Even after testing, its irrational to retest, and then maybe retest again, just to be sure... but I have done that myself. And you can see the line getting darker.

applesaretheonlyfruit · 21/08/2009 09:53

Is this your first??

Trying4Baby1 · 21/08/2009 10:05

Yes it is which may help towards explaining the irrational behaviour.

applesaretheonlyfruit · 21/08/2009 10:14

Haha, I'm trying for no3 and, trust me, you don't get any more rational..

Your dh will probably spend the entire pregnancy in shock, when you present the baby to him, it kind of sinks in then..

MrsRigby · 21/08/2009 12:57

tryingforbaby1 many congratulations, this is brilliant news .

Just you and me now applesaretheonlyfruit . It will be you next and then I'll be on my own .

Trying4Baby1 · 21/08/2009 16:35

Thank you both! Still doesn't seem very real yet. Just want to tell everyone but at the same time don't really in case something happens and it'll be nice to have a secret with DH that no one else knows. You'll both have to let me know how you get on!!!!!! Hoping for BFP for you both!!!!!

emmajlh · 21/08/2009 18:55

hi all,

i'm 5 weeks pergnant and have been having spotting for past 4 days. No pain or cramping and feel absolutely fine. Went to the docs yesterday just to be safe and he wasn't concerned at all as there was no pain with the spotting. It is brownish in colour and only when i wipe (!). The doctor reckons it will stop in a few days.

I'm still really worried though and i'm wondering if i should take it easy and if that would make a difference - but that would be suggesting that spotting and miscarriage are connected - which i don't think they are?

Anyone else experiencing spotting? I wish it would stop!! I want to get excited about being pregnant but i just can't until i get to the 12 week scan which just feels like a lifetime away!!

MrsRigby · 21/08/2009 20:30

Evening - not that there's really anyone left on this thread .

I've just come back from the shops, where I brought 4 pregnancy tests - Clearblue. DH wasn't that impressed with me spending £25.00+ on them, but hopefully he'll forget all about it when he see's two lovely blue lines - until of course when he checks the bank balance and then I'll just have to make him forget again with a blow-job .

I've brought two normal ones and two digital with conception indicator, but I'm definately not going to test again until 1st September. I am not putting myself through that again .

Okay so symptom spotting today and I'm still having cramping, I feel uncomfortable and I've got a big blue vein and little lumps on my breasts. I just don't know.

I'll bet you any bloody money that AF visits me whilst I'm away next week.

LeeWT · 21/08/2009 21:29

congrats trying4no1 great to see a few bfps still rolling through the doors!

applesaretheonlyfruit · 21/08/2009 22:50

Hi Emmajlh, I have been "lucky" enough to have both types of miscarriage, a mc, where the yolk/sac didn't develop, which I didn't know about until bleeding at 8wks, and a mmc, where the baby did develop and their was a hb on a 7wk scan, but slow, and had stopped by 8wks. There was no bleeding, and might not have been any until 12 weeks or so. Therefore I had an ERPC.

With the mc at 8wks, I didn't have any pain or cramping, just the blood turned up.

If yours is only spotting (and only when you wipe, etc), then I would think it still looks positive.. if the spotting turned into more, then that is a different story.

I know it is horrible, made worse by the not knowing. Try and get an early scan.. if you have to, say you are in pain..

applesaretheonlyfruit · 21/08/2009 22:53

MrsRigby!!! I am still on this thread. There is no other bus that will take me where I want to go.

MrsRigby · 22/08/2009 10:20

Morning applesaretheonlyfruit - sod it, just come and join me on the May bus. There's only you and me here and lets be honest, neither of us are going to be having an April baby .
