Morning everyone! I honestly don't think I've ovulated this month. Or not yet. I have traditionally had very erratic AF so possibly I was getting over excited about one being semi-normal by "normal" woman's standards. I'm not sure. I have been temping and frankly, who knows what's going on. Had a spike (but had got up to go to the loo an hour before) on Thursday and now it's dropped below average.

Arrgh, it's so hard?

Am not stressing though - just feel irritated that I can't even get to grips with my cycle!

Bettymamma · 27/07/2009 11:38

Mickbell - i think it may just turn into the May bus. I thought that this morning when updating all the details.

Bettymum- i am VERY impressed with your resistance to test! I hope i can follow your example.

I went to the supermarket this morning and looked for tests but couldn't locate them (but found the condoms!). Someone is trying to tell me something. It's 30 degrees here and blue sky. Feel free to throw something at me. We live in Switzerland at the moment but I try to hide on MN because my SIL is a prolific MN'etter and will be searching for me i'm sure.

OhBling - it is so hard. Your cycle sounds frustrating.

Have any of you been tempted to look at the pregnancy thread for April? I used to do that all the time when TTC DD2. It's tempting fate and very annoying.

sweetkitty · 27/07/2009 13:58

hello everyone still no AF here, I swing between well it was 2 for £1 tests could they be wrong (doubt it) and no AF is messed up by the BFing

Ohbling - about your tepming I am no disciplined enough to temp, never give up hope and keep having sex as thats the fastest way to get a BFP

hope everyone else is OK

grinningbee · 27/07/2009 15:02

Well, I just don't know what's going on here.

Possibly another case of bfing messing things up with the olde system. Supposedly cd19, but I am bleeding again today .

Does that put me back at the start??? Or should I wait and see. Who knows...

The shrieking banshee that is my 16 week old dd has prevented any bding this month, so I don't suppose it really matters anyway!

SummerC · 27/07/2009 15:19

I am too late to get on the bus?

TTC#2 Cycle 1 UCL35 CD29

DD1 was a long time coming (3.5 years) and we needed clomid to get her. So it is still very early days. I'm just hoping this time round proves to be a little easier.

And I am a complete newbie to all the abbreviations. Bear with me - I'll figure them out.

NewMember · 27/07/2009 15:59

Hi Ladies ...

Sorry I have not posted - it's been SO long!

Well I still have my CBFM packed away - trying hard to stay relaxed!

Pretty sure I OV yesterday - so looks like I am in the 2WW! Time will tell!

How r u all?

NancyPreg · 27/07/2009 18:38

sweet and grinning you two seem to be in the same land of limbo....hopefully you will have some form answers soon, either a BFP or af and then the guessing game will be over...

Summer not too late to join the bus...go straight to the front row, given that you're on CD29!!

New well done on resisting the tests and good luck with the 2ww...

I wonder, am I the only one who actually 'enjoys' the very last stages of the 2ww?? . I'm at the stage where I have some, um, 'symptoms' which could be all down to impending af or, er, something else . I actually find this stage interesting because it could go either way...[masochist emoticon]

sorry to post and run but still have no idea what is happening. CD25 and PMT has all but disappeared when it should be peaking!

I still can't figure out if I ovulated this month so am going to sit and wait, if no Af by the end of the week I may test on Saturday but don't hold out much hope

I hope everyone else is doing okay and some more BFPs come soon (sorry no time to name check)

LoobyLou82 · 27/07/2009 21:36

ladylou an news?

Im sitting on CD11 so just waiting for my mittelschmitz pains of ovulation to start. Im maybe a day of too later this month due to mc, got sore boobs, stabby pain this morning so must be almost time. BD on thurs and sat(CD9) so still early but may try and get some BD in tonight or tomorrow. I have knackered my hip from having my last two kids. I had large babies and they have wrecked my hips, my right hip is tilted and my pelvic girdle is twisted. Last week it got really sore think it was because i was preg for a week and the relaxin started to be produced and i must have strained it. It has never been the same since my second DS as i had a split pelvis at the front (SPD)due to him pushing down on it. I had to wear a support belt and body sock for the last few months. No-one tells you just how much having kids breaks you! Sorry folks

Anyway so my hips are sore and im struggling to walk just now gotta see my chiropractor. Having sex just makes it really bad the next few days, so not sure if i should not ttc and wait till its better. I was told tho that it prob wont get completely better anyway and its something i will have all my life from having the boys! So prob best to just keep ttc! I was told by my chiropractor it takes 2 full years for your body to go back, your bottom two ribs never go back flat to the way they were before, and your hips are permanantly bigger, woohoo! fun fun! All worth it tho, to see those little smiling faces

Mornin all

Just thought I'd update the bus whilst feeding the kids Frosties. Any news from anyone? There's alot of people up at the front of the bus at the moment! Hello Elliemama and bubbalewy.

Thought the old AF was going to arrive yesterday in an outdoor swimming pool. Was convinced but false alarm. I've got myself prepared in case she does. Think if i get to the weekend i'll test with Jamiejay.

Looby your experience of the effects that pregnancy and childbirth can have on a woman's body combined with your willingness to go through it all again, is testimony to the strength of the maternal instinct . We women are a hardy lot

NancyPreg · 28/07/2009 07:56

x post Betty!

SummerC · 28/07/2009 10:32

Still no sign of AF and I'm on CD30. I'm usually CD35, so another 5 days to wait and then I can test. I really don't think it will be positive though. I'm not sure why exactly - I just don't feel pregnant if that makes sense. I must admit, I still have everything crossed for a BFP later this week.

Is it too early to test now?? Patience has never been one of my virtues.

Bettymamma · 28/07/2009 12:27

Hang on in there if you can SummerC, i know the waiting is painfully boring but otherwise you could get a false negative result and have wasted money, time, heartache!

Though we must be due some more BFP's by now...

Whoops Nancypreg - we are too hyper efficient

NancyPreg · 28/07/2009 12:36

Summer although our list decribes CD, it would actually be as meaningful (if not more so for those ladies who have regular, predictable cycles) to include DPO, which is 'days past ovulation'. The reason why this stat is not on the list is because many women don't know exactly when they ovulate....however, if you do know when you ovulate (either because you use OPKs, you temp or you experience mittelschmerz), then you could simply wait until you are at least 10dpo before doing a test (I've read of women having BFPs after 8/9dpo but I think the early pg tests are geared for a minimum of 10dpo in general). Also, the length of the luteal phase differs between women but if you know that your luteal phase is never longer than, say, 11 days, then you could test on day 12.....

Does that answer your question??!!!

Alternatively, you could wait until the day af is due or even the day before?

Mickbell · 28/07/2009 13:22

Hi ladies any good news for anyone? I just updated my details on the list, body a bit messed up. Got some good blood results though, full hormone profile shows I am in very good health and look good to conceive, that was a weight off my mind! Phew, DH getting some tests ran today, will let you know how it all goes.

OK ladies (trembling as I type) - very faint BFP today... am not getting too excited though - very faint, AF due 2 days from now, but will keep you posted!

NancyPreg · 28/07/2009 13:37

just like buses, you wait ages for one BFP to come along and then suddenly, TWO BFPs come along together!!

Many congratulations to Bettymum and LOM !!

LOM let us know if you'd to move to the grad list!
