Hey all

Reallly fucked off today, i am going to be made redundant in september, and i have known about this for quite a few months now, so have been looking for a job, went for an interview - if thats what you can call it - for a support worker today...wont bore you with the details - it was a shambles - didnt get it.... just feel like everything is against me, my current job, trying to find a job, now 8mths of TTC....aghhhhh! Just want to scream!!! Sorry rant over....just feels good to get it all out!!

Ahhh breathe.....

Emmajih - my sisters 4yr old burns up every 6 weeks with a tonsilitus typpe virus, but this time she wasnt allowed to take him to the drs and get him his normal medication, as he has 4 or my symptoms of swine flu they are classing it as that!! So will only prescribe him with tamiflu, madness really, he is the same as he always is.... i think it has all been blown out of proption and all thses new cases that have been reported are prolyl just a normal cold/tonsilitus!! So i wouldnt worry too much about it, if you have no underlying medical problems then i see no reason not to keep ttc!!!

ilove no wonder you feel fed up but there will be more interviews, and eventually a job (or more!), coming your way I'm sure of that....just like there will be a LO coming too. It's still tough waiting though and not knowing. Are there many job vacancies where you live?

tostaky fingers crossed for your test...

TeaFan have fun tonight! It sounds as though you're still in your fertile phase so 'early night' for you....or is that waaay too corny for a codeword??!!

Well I had my first gynae. appt. today. doc has referred me/dh for blood tests (usual suspects: antiphospholipid/lupus (for me) and karyotyping for both of us. She said no need to hold off ttc whilst we wait for the results...which I wouldn've have done anyway . Let's see what results come back...

Trying4Baby1 · 21/07/2009 19:52

ilovetoshop - I know how you feel about the whole redundancy thing as I've been told that I'll be made redundant at the start of November. Still TTC though as we've been waiting to start for so long and there's always been some reason to put it on hold. Just thought whats the point in waiting I'm not getting any younger!!!

Does any one know how soon you can get pregnancy symptoms? I think I ovulated at the start of last week and my lower back's been killing me the last couple of days. Don't know if thats a sign or not. Also someone said that their dog had been following them everywhere before they tested positive and my dog has been pretty much lying on me the last couple of days. Guess I'm just impatient to be pregnant

LoobyLou82 · 21/07/2009 19:53

Hey guys,

sorry ive been quiet. Not much going on with me really still bleeding. Today is day 5 so was hoping it would have ended by now, i guess with a mc you never know how long it will last hopefully only maybe a day or two more.

On day CD 5 now so still ages till im OV and we can start ttc. So nothing exciting to report really. Not sure if we should try this month straight after the mc as not sure if its damaging to my body or not. I was told your more fertile after a mc so not sure. Dont wanna end up having another failed preg by trying too soon. Anyone got any views? Husband wants to try again this month...of course he does, he's male, and its only way he knows he is guaranteed sex hehe!

Sorry tobago AF got you, at least you know where you are cycle wise and know your back in the game

ilovetoshop times are testing for many families at the moment loosing jobs etc but you have your family and no matter what comes and goes on the job front you have each other so you will be ok. Good Luck im sure something even bigger and better will come along

Lou x

Trying4Baby1 · 21/07/2009 20:08

Lou I'm so sorry about your mc I probably should have read the more recent posts before posting myself. I know some people wait for a few months before trying again but then there are others that conceive straight after. I know your hubby wants to try again but trust yourself and how you feel about it! An mc doesn't mean it'll happen again. Just do what you feel is right!

tobago04 · 21/07/2009 21:01

Hi everyone, hope you feel better soon ilove2shop,you never know whats round the corner.
Nice to hear from you looby, still in it together!
Don't know about trying straight after mc,maybe google it and see what advice you can find, sure it can't do any harm, know what you mean about men!!Think we had more sex in the last month than we have in the last year he he{grin] x

TeaFan · 21/07/2009 21:19

NancyPreg have already had fun once - it was such an early night i've had to get back up again . Hope the tests come back with the answers you want but hopefully a BPF first!

ilove so sorry that work is a bummer, on the up side at least support worker roles aren't as affected by the recession as some (or am I wrong?), fingers crossed something comes up soon.

How is the not testing working out for you Tostaky? I'm always very proud of my MN friends for every day they hold off testing

Trying4Baby1 I love you dog following you symptom, you'll have to let me know if it turns out to be true and i'll put some treats in my pocket in a week or so when I start symptom spotting!

Tobago think your stats are missing from the list?

(Waves hello to Looby)

sweetkitty · 21/07/2009 21:31

Evening ladies sorry not been around this week been a mad one, CD24 here SO if I ov CD15 as normal that makes me 9DPO, I have had BFPs at 9DPO and am itching to test tomorrow morning, I'm almost scared to as I think it will be BFN as I don't think I OV this month.

I had one period inbetween mc and conceiving DD3. I must have OVed whilst still bleeding from the mc, I took it as meaning my body was ready.

Re: getting DHs/DPs in the mood, I try to throw in some purely fun sex with the TTC sex every month, makes him feel less used. He shouldn't complain as if I do get pregnant it will be drought on the sex front with the feeling sick then the SPD he will get none for a good few months.

Trying4Baby1 · 21/07/2009 22:22

Teafan Don't worry I'll keep you updated on the dog front and let you know either way. It's just started thunder and lightning here so maybe she picked up on that before it started and that's why she's been sooking up, although thunder doesn't bother her so we'll just have to wait and see!

JamieJay · 21/07/2009 23:12

Loujalou - I sometimes have to feign dis-interst in the whole baby thing so DH doesn't think I'm using and abusing him (even though I sometimes think he likes to be used and abused!)

ilove2shop and Trying4Baby1 sorry about the whole redundancy thing, hope you both get some good news soon.

Sorry AF got you tobago. TeaFan good on you for the early night, lets hope you got a good dose of strong swimmers (can't believe I'm discussing this with someone I've never met ).

sweetkitty try and hold out from testing and hope you manage to remain strong tostaky. NancyPreg glad that things are moving along for you, hope you get some good news back from your tests.

I have a horrible feeling I haven't ovulated this month, had some symptoms but no EWCM, it'll be CD20 tomorrow, we haven't managed any BD'ing since Sunday and the next few days are unlikely. Have been reading various threads about non-sleeping/screaming babies to try and put myself off but it's not helping .

Maybe next month will be better!

tostaky · 22/07/2009 08:09

still no symptoms at all... im trying very hard not to test... 12 DPO today
boyfriend last night: "when are you fertile next month?"
see he is not interested in whether i am pregnant.. oh no... the only thing that matters is when he is going to be used and abused!!

sweetkitty · 22/07/2009 09:06

Tested this morning with Poundshop cheapie, BFN but expected, don't think I ovulated this month, oh well onwards and upwards as they say.

tostaky - hold off hold off

tostaky LOL at your db!! But then, men are creatures of pleasure ...let's hope that you won't have a fertile phase next month good luck for the next day or so....

trying early pg symptoms vary across women but I think if you know your body well, then it is possible to 'feel differently' before reaching 10dpo IYSWIM...when I was expecting DC2, I wanted fizzy, sugary coca cola during the 2ww which did make me wonder what was going on (odd symptom!).

TeaFan well done on the bd

sweetkitty will you or won't you test today?!

NancyPreg · 22/07/2009 09:14

sweetkitty cross post...a BFN at 10dpo may NOT be the end of things for you. Perhaps wait until the end of the week and try again? [you already know this emoticon]

Bettymum · 22/07/2009 09:56

Morning ladies! Nothing to report here.
We haven't had any daytrips on this bus, it's grey and drizzly here, where shall we go? How about the South of France for a day or two to get some sunshine and cheer us all up .

OhBling · 22/07/2009 10:09

Hello. DH and I are ttc for first time. All very new, exciting and we're still getting our heads aroudn things, especially the fact that I might actually have a proper cycle as opposed to once every 4 - 5 months (long boring story). Can i please get clarification on a few abbreviations? What is CD? UCL is the cycle length right?

Good luck to those of you who are testing - I guess that's lurking for us next month!

sweetkitty · 22/07/2009 10:36

Ohbling - welcome to our wee thread, I did a list of what everything means scroll downa wee bit and you will find it

nancypreg - I don't have "that" feeling this month that's all, didn't have much EWCM either, would have expected a faint line by now though, expecting AF to turn up fairly soon

OhBling · 22/07/2009 10:43

Hi OhBling you are very welcome on the bus

SweetKitty sorry you think AF is imminent - I will still hope for a BFP though.

Bettymum about time this bus went somewhere sunny! What a fab idea

Good news is I don't think I missed my window at all, still have EWCM so might even be OVing today, BD again tonight then - have text DP to 'warn' him lol

tostaky · 22/07/2009 12:50

well ive lost my mobile AND my debit card... could this be pregnancy brain!!!

sweetkitty, you are way too early to test.. Better test this weekend with me!
What about Shopna hoops and skihorse they are all due to test very soon..? I think we should do it all at the same time!!!!

welcome ohBling

tostaky · 22/07/2009 14:11

ive just try to download pictures from my camera onto my laptop without the USB cable... definitely pregnancy brain!!! Or maybe it is because im blonde....

TeaFan · 22/07/2009 14:43

Ooh, Tostaky I am getting excited, I hope you are pg, we haven't had a BFP for ages.

What will you be tomorrow? 16 DPO? Have got everything crossed except my legs!

Apart from random scatter brain are there any other symptoms?

hoops997 · 22/07/2009 17:15

hi everyone, well I buckled today but got BFN.....never mind, have hidden the other test for Saturday!!!

hoops997 · 22/07/2009 17:16

tostaky lets make a date for Saturday morning if no AF on Friday?

JamieJay · 22/07/2009 17:54

So exciting for all of you about to test, hope you get some BFP's soon.

Feeling really down as pretty certain I didn't ovulate this month, really had my hopes up that we'd benefit from the fabled fertility surge following the miscarriage. Well I suppose there is always next month.
