Hi all.

Needing some extra support this time round as have just had a MC. We are trying again straight away. But I've a feeling it's going to take ages. Got pregnant first month trying last 2 times. I have 1 DC- 11 months.

I want some people to join this thread who are ready to hold hands and help each other through the TTC.

uuurgh. i have had a really vile week. i have been 'dumped' by a friend for apparently not being a good enough friend to her....by this she means not being constantly available to listen to her moan about not having a boyfriend, or moan about the poor sod she has managed to take hostage this week....very annoying. i have maintained a dignified silence which has been friggin hard let me tell you....she is one selfish lady...i barely see my children enough as i work fulltime let alone her....she is not even my 'best' friend....AAARRRGGGHHHHRRRRRR.

there we are - feel better now. phew. needed that....

i am on CD6 and will be getting it on tonight...then on 8 10 12 13 14 15 16 18 20 this month. fingers crossed. i really would love to fall this month so that the baby would be due next april wouldn't it?

glad to hear about the scans - thats fab.

I'm exhausted just looking at your shag plan boodle! I guess I'll be doing something similar though...

I'm not going to add my stats if that's OK, as I'm not wanting to tempt fate or anything after last time I'm trying to be chilled out this month and not count cycle days too closely. I find I enjoy the bd-ing more that way....

Yep it baby number 2 for me.

Had my hen wkend this wkend. It was well and truly nakering. Everything is aching. Ended up telling everyone on the hen do except for my work friends as I didn't want them finding out as my contract will not be renewed. I'm hoping no one slipped up and mentioned it to them. There was 20 of us so it was too difficult to keep it a secret. It was a horrible night, fell out with DP's family. So I'm quite upset today.

Boodle sounds like you're well rid of that silly lady. People who arn't juggling full time work, kids and a partner just do not understand how difficult it is. She sounds very selfish.

Oh I forgot to mention that my best friend cried all hen weekend and kept going back to the hotel and avoiding me as she has been trying for a baby for over a year.

oh gosh, boodle, what a horrible time - and you totally!!!! totally, you're right about boodle's friend, not worth having. you're bst rid of her. some people are just take, take, take and have no concept that they might not be the centre of the universe.
congrats on your hen weekend, although it sounds a little bit traumatic to say the least. how on earth did you avoid drinking and not get picked up on it by your work colleagues? surely they expected you to be happily wearing "willy on a rope" soap round your neck with gay abandon by 9pm!!! impossible without a few gin n tonics inside you! why did you fall out with DP's family?
amy, you're right, best to fly under the radar on the dates front if you're trying to relax yourself a bit. no worries at all about not adding yourself to the list (but let us know when we're nearish to your end of cycle so we can br crossing fingers!)

ah thanks girls, i am feeling better about her lack of tact now....silly bint. Her loss, there is only so much of me to go around i guess ha ha.

totally - glad you survived the hen night - sorry to hear about your best friend, we can all understand what she must be going through tho. i am positive that she is over the moon for you inside, once she gets past the jealousy....its lousy that feeling isn't it...

hmmm CD9 for me i see, the lull before the storm...a couple of days rest til we are at it hammer and tongs...strangely i feel pretty excited about it....have had some cracking bonks lately and totally not with a baby in mind. i am not POAS this month until the day my period is due which is the 26th July. My word is my bond....{i am going to try soooo hard to keep that bond...} i can neither really afford the actual or emotional cost of another month peeing every morning on some kind of stick...NO NO NO.

Boodle- I do feel really sorry for my mate, don't want her to feel crap and was hoping we'd be pregnant together but we're not. She is coming around though.

totally - how frustrating for you. i'd like to think that if my best mate was pg right now i would be ok, infact i know i would be.....its a boutits not like you are having HER baby or anything....i hope she comes round else it will be a hard work friendship and they are no fun what so ever....

i am applying for a really great job at the moment and have been umming and ahhing as to whether it is morally right do go for another job but have decided that it may take me ages to conceive and why should i put myself on hold until it happens.....on the other hand may be it will be like buses coming along two at once....(which would of course be my preference....i would love to turn down a job due to pregnancy....)

Woo hoo! AF has arrived, I'm hope that this will be the first and last time I'm celebrating it but at least know it's officially CD1 - from next week we can start trying again but not sure I've got the energy for your plan boodle Was also getting a bit fed up waiting this week as my best 'work' friend told me she was pregnant and I am the only other person in the world who knows apart from her boyfriend at the moment. I'm really pleased for her but green eyed monster did appear for a little bit and had a childish internal 'It's not fair!' moment . At least AF means I'm not just waiting around any more.

boodle you should definitely go for the job, you can make the decision whether to accept once you get an offer but no harm in applying - I work in HR and people get job offers an turn them down all the time so go for it. What job is it?

i didn't go for the job in the end....the application process online was just tooooo drawn out and i have been time pressured as usual....BUT the ovulation calculator on MN predicted that my key days to conceive this month have been 7th/8th/9th/10th/11th/12th o i have BD 789 had break last night and will tonight and tomorr too....that is a lot of BD for us actually in a very short amount of time so i feel like we will have really given it a good shot this month. I have mad pact with husband that will not test without him and will test on 26th with a clear blue....

Nothing to report really for me. No AF yet but at least -PT now (took 3 weeks to get there) so there's some progress.

So just the wait for AF (hope she comes at a convenient time - hate not knowing when to expect her) and then a BD plan.

Sorry to be thick but what does AF stand for anyway? I think I know all the other abbreviations but that one stumps me!

Auntie Flo(w) - pretty daft huh?! Hope you're okay Stressy. At least you can get started when AF finally arrives!

I wonder how many landfills have piles of peed-on sticks? If I've been anything to go by over the years at least one black bin bag full would be mine!!!!!

I'm just back from Italy - had a lovely time. Lots of sunshine, lovely food and relaxing. And I managed to get my mind off pregnancy for a whole week! Fantastic! Am somewhere in the 2ww at the moment. Am trying not to think specifically of days this time, as it really stressed me out last month. Work is keeping me busy, so who knows - maybe the 2ww will fly by?

Amy- glad you had a fab time in Italy.

I fly to Cyprus next week and then get married woohoo. Loads of people are off to cyprus to tie the knott this month, they stealing my thunder lol.

Very poorly all the time at mo. Midwife is visiting me at home on Monday. How r u lucky? I'm getting really fat! Hope it's water retention! Can't eat anything but bread, plain crisps n noodles though.

Girls, not good news from my end of the country.

I had another scan today and it wasn't so good. The baby had grown in line with dates but it had a really really weak heartbeat. Even I could see the difference. The scan lady said usually in situations like this a miscarriage happens.

I am so sad. I can't believe I am having another miscarriage. And even if it is still there next week then surely a weak heartbeat is not good news with regards to the health of the baby.

I don't know really know why I am posting this. I know there is nothing to say. I am just sad. Sad, sad, sad.

Oh no lucky - that's awful. Poor you Is there no hope at all? I know there's nothing I can say to make it better, but really my thoughts are with you. How horrible having to be put through this for a second time. Sending you lots of virtual hugs. x

oh no lucky that is beyond shite....will really pray that the next scan is more concrete....its the not knowing whats going to happen that must be so agonising...try and stay optimistic - it might be ok.

please post how you feel, we are here to support you in the best way we can..

totally - stay with us then, i think its gone beyond a random thread on conception now...we have to stick together and journey together...
