amelied · 17/04/2009 13:35

Im out! AF just arrived - Day 27.
Start Clomid Round #3 tomorrow. Had high hopes this month and a brand new, sparkly Clearblue digital test waiting in it's packet for tomorrow as well...

Good luck everyone else

beanieb · 17/04/2009 14:44

sorry to hear that amelied, good luck for the next month.

Can I have some advice please?

I have been drinking grapefruit juice while taking the clomid! Should I start drinking it after finishing the clomid?

mummycat1 · 17/04/2009 17:48

Sorry Amelied CD1 is the worst I think. I start Clomid round 5 in a couple of weeks.

Stac DD really loved her hols. She was very good on the plane till the last 20 mins when she was bored! Thanks for asking. Relaxation suggestions - lavendar oil massage and some in an oil burner. Classical music or just soft stuff. Low lighting etc. -the usual. Nice food and treat yourselves kindly.

Hope evryone locates the new thread!

My CD was right on the list btw

s to everyone

Hi all
Had my 21 day bloods today, not feeling too good at mo, feel really tired and i keep being sick in mornings and have like an ache (similar to period ache but duller) in my stomach, very fustrating at not due until between cd27 and cd35!!!!
Baby dust all xx

Alfiemax · 17/04/2009 18:29

Evening Ladies,

Hope everyone is ok.

Amelied sorry your af got you hun. Tons of luck and BabyDust for you this cycle.

Lisylou1980 I am experiencing exactly the same as you at the moment and it's rather annoying and frustrating.

Currently CD22 and to be honest I'm shocked to get this far in a cycle at the moment but for the last 9 days (starting the day I ov'd) I have had this cramping pain in my stomach. Mostly in the middle at the bottom where af pains are normally. It feels like I have an orange in there that is stretching me with the odd twinge or really bad cramp. I actually want af to arrive in the hope it will go away before I really get the hump.

Although on the plus side for you the vomiting and tiredness could be a good sign. Hopefully it is and you can get your long awaited BFP. When do you get your blood results back?

Well so far so good on starting the clomid this month. I can't wait as I feel like it's been a bit of a non starter so far and as time goes on I find myself feeling more and more negative that it will even work, or like I'm destined not to take it for some reason.

Well I hope everyone has a lovely weekend, anyone up to anything good?? We have the in laws coming tomorrow for the weekend - we moved a couple of hundred miles away from home a few years ago - so I wont be back on PC till monday.

Good Luck to everyone waiting to ov or test.

BabyDust All Round ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

stac14 · 17/04/2009 18:44

Hey ladies
Can't believe we gabbed that much we reached 1000 already lol

Well my panic is over AF looks like its on its way so I can start my clomid properly, light spotting at the moment so do I wait till Sunday to take it for day 2 or tomorrow night? Always get confused about that.

Sorry af got you amelied looks like we're cycle buds this month I start round 3 either tomorrow or Sunday heres hoping its lucky.

alfiemax good to hear from you, how are you?

lisylou hope your feeling better soon hun

beanieb heres a website regarding grapefruit juice and what to do www.theloboroflove.com/articles/grapefruit-juice-and-cervical-mucus/ hope that helps hun

mummycat glad she had a good time, how long is the flight?

Hey katlonka how are you? were are you in your cycle?

clairebear88 · 17/04/2009 19:30

Hi

Wow cant believe we reached 1000 mind you there are so many of us on here now its great for info.
Amelie - Tell me about the clearblue test I had mine ready and waiting too but AF arrived on Monday so put a finish to that. Keep going babe
Lisylou - sorry you feel rough. Clomid can cause both those side effects but its a shame your having a rough time of it. Hope you feel better soon.

Anyone got any tips to try and make it less like TTC and get back into the fancying it so going for it. Im really trying but its really hard. I got a bit upset yesterday as feel like the sparkle id going the longer we are TTC.

By the way my CD was correct on last list thanks xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

katlokna · 17/04/2009 19:58

Hi Stac14 Thanks for asking.

I'm currently CD18. I have my day 21 bloods on monday 20th, and have to wait a week for the results of those.

I have been using a Clearblue Fertility Monitor this cycle, which apparently is not really recommended if on Clomid. I didn't find that out until after I'd bought it though so there wasn't really going to not use it . It seems to have done ok though and picked up a couple of 'peaks' around what I suspect was ov.

Just trying to get through the 2ww now.

hi all, just signing in on the new thread. Wow thats a lot of nattering we do~!!

Alfie hi good to have you back, though sorry you're having pain

stac hiya, so have you decided to take the clomid without af? I think I may try to ring consultant on monday if my af not arrived

katlokna thats encouraging that you are stil picking up peaks on your clearblue monitor. I've completely given up with opks, though maybe when I eventually do begin clomid I have afew left and may use them just to satisfy curiosity more than anything else.

amelie disappointed for you that you got af.

well still no af here, its been 9 days since finishing provera.
I've got a cycling and running race tomorrow - hoping it won't rain!!

Baby dust to you all xx

Lisylou1980 · 18/04/2009 08:17

Hi Alfie
Should get my results back monday or tuesday not sure how it works with the weekend prob tuesday though.
Still feeeling crap off to a party tonight thou so gonna go have my hair done to cheer me up. Mind you i tried on a million outfits for tonight as my stomach is blown up and making me look 4 months preg i'm feeling a bit uncomfortable at mo. If i was preg i wouldnt mind i would be showing it off but as i'm not and ttc its rubbing my nose in it a bit when i have ppl coming up to me and asking me if i am or just assuming i am. Anyway enough of the rant.
Hows everyone else xx

islegrin · 18/04/2009 08:24

Hi all - nice new thread we've got here. I love what you've done with the place - very chic.

Clure you are such a jock, you inspire me - I love to hear about your running and cycling... if I could only get my tush off the couch...

Stac so glad to hear that it seems like AF is starting, at least you can start Clomid with a clean conscience. PROGRESS!! Best of luck.

Amelied - sorry AF snuck up on you, she's a witch. I hope the next cycle is THE one!

Lisylou can't wait to hear your results.

Well CD7 for me, finished my Clomid-substitue (Letrizole) last night and now I have two more days of injections. Scan on Tuesday to see what's going on, but I feel plenty of hopeful twinges! It really is all about the hope, isn't it?!?! At least that's what keeps me going.

Morning Ladies !!!

How is everyone today ?

Stac, great news about AF, I'm going to tell my consultant how long it took me, and that it seems I'm not the only one as I think he should warn people it could take longer than they suggest!

Clure, hopefully the run will bring on AF ! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you !

Lisylou tiredness + sickness sound very promising ! I'll keep everything crossed for you too

Amelied thats pants about AF, lots of babydust to you and hopefully this will be the cycle

Lots of luck and babydust to everyone else, I haven't mentioned, DH is bugging me to get off the laptop !
Hope you all have a great weekend

Hello all. No af here yet. But did a brill race today run-cycle-run. Came 5th out of 19 in the "ladies section" pleased as wasn't in frame of mind to do it.

lisylou enjoy your party, sometimes a night out is a tonic

Hi Islegin you right to keep positive, bring on the twinges.

This is ironic as this cycle has been the longest EVER for me inbetween periods, with the clomid in my drawer waiting I can't believe the bad luck.

Hi to the rest of you ladies

Enjoy weekend

stac14 · 18/04/2009 16:32

Hey clure Wish af would just come for you so you can get on with the clomid, I am going to start mine tonight, not really looking forward to it as I have a bit of a hangover, some of the girls came up last night and an inpromptu bottle of wine lol

Hey islegrin I am chuffed af is here so I can get the clomid, how you feeling with the letrozole? you've got a busy week ahead

Hi ginstar I thought I would have come on much quicker with the provera but that was 10 days with the norethisterone I took it for 10 days but came on after 5 so it still works out a 50 day cycle, but the provera didnt make me as moody

Hey lisylou I let my hair down last night and it was the best fun I have had in ages especially as I didnt spend the night talking about ttc, so have a great time you will find an outfit lol

Good on you having a little glass of something nice! Ive just poured myself a little one too, to celebrate my race today. You never know it may bring on my af!! Good luck with taking the clomid though

stac14 · 18/04/2009 19:59

Hi clure it took 11 days after the provera so I'm sure yours will come too. Well done on your race are you knackered? Do you race for charity or fun? xx

millymolly hi, I too am waiting after provera, its been 10 days and still waiting. The only side effects I had were worse hot flushes than normal. Hopefully you 50mg clomid will work for you. It worked for me last time too!

stac I'm fine after race, distances not too far, was more knackered after half marathon. Sometimes do charity stuff, mainly for "fun" (nutter, they shout!!)

Anyway, I'm off to bed to rest my little legs. (still no bath to soak them in)
