Im now knicker watching as am due thur/fri. Got the sore nips/little pains low down and bit queasy and dizzy but I had this a couple of months ago and built my hopes up, I definately wont be doing that again coz got very upset. Ill keep ya informed

Evening all. Stac, they just give me a scan to measure the size of the follicles and the thickness of the lining, but don't do any bloodtests at all.

I've got another triathlon booked for Saturday - its a local one so DH and DD are coming along to support. We've also got a bbq to go to so hopefully the weather should stay fine. Got to think about doing a bit of school work this week (boo hoo!)

Hiya - I am a sporadic poster in here.

Am back on Clomid after a miscarriage and am now on CD18. Feel like I am in Limbo now, just waiting and waiting until I get my period or can test.

Last time I was on Clomid I was using my fertility monitor and I ovulated around day 14 but after I got pregnant I sold the monitor so was just using OPKs but think I was doing them too late as I wasn't getting any lines so gave up on them. We just had a lot of sex from day 7 to 15 but now seem to have come to a halt because we are so tired.

Am just hoping we have done enough. The month I got pregnant we had sex around the same days and then again on CD 18 so perhaps I should try again tonight.

hi beanie I remeber you. Im sorry about the mc and sorry your back on the rollercoaster.
I have read that OPKs dont really work whilst on clomid coz of hormone levels but not sure about the monitors. I think if you have regular cycles then cd8-18 is right. I know its knackering and its hard to keep up the fun tbh. Oh well we will keep on going im sure until we have the bundle we want so much.

hi beanie and clairebear with you on the knackerdness of it all! I don't use OPK's as both my LH and FSH levels are very high and OPK would (and have) give a false readings. I'm just going for it on the days around (hopeful) ovulation

thanks both. Am kind of 'over' the miscarriage if that's the right word. Just fed up that after a couple of months off I am back on the merry-go-round of the two week wait.

I think I have been lucky in my first week of metformin as I haven't had any side effects, bet next week I am ill with it lol

Anyone doing anything exciting this weekend? Its not a bank holiday here so just a normal weekend for us. Have couple of friends coming up so should be good to get a catch up xxx

AF arrived this morning and I am so fed up of the whole thing now. This will be my last month of clomid and probably onto IUI if it doesnt work.
Its just so simple for some people and why not us. Im feeling so sorry for myself and want a big bar of chocolate

Well im now off work for a week and half so gonna relax and catch up with mates.

Im still in same situation i was still waiting for af...or a bfp. Am on cd58 longest ever by 10 days.

did cave in a couple of nights ago - not sure it makes a difference but it was in evening and i had been peeing like a racehorse all night!! am quietly hoping the hour i gave it between trips to the loo would have made it too weak! 2 weeks since morning test now!

So have decided to wait until next weekend and do a test in morning after trying to hold it all night!!

I am not kidding myself too much and keep knicker checking sure i will come on but i cant help the tiny ray of hope that i could be pg??

Forgot to say, Stac, no news on the progesterone front. How long does it normally take to get this sort of result back?

I'm new to this & to Clomid.
I've been ttc for nearly 2 years - found out I had PCOS in Nov last year & only just been put on clomid. I've just taken tablet 1 on cycle 2 today. I've had a variety of side effect - headaches, panic attacks, hot flushes, nausea & bleeding. Dr assured me this was ok on first cycle.
I've been put on 50 mg till my next specialist appointment in Dec.

Feels like everyone around me is falling preg - I know at least 5 - some were trying & some were accidental!

life just seems totally unfair at the mo.

thanks for the thoughts and chocolate all. Feeling so emotional at the mo. just had a cry actually as anything sets me off.

Someone crashed into my car this morning and looks like a write off so just feels like my luck is way down. Im ok just really shaken up.

peju - it must be so frustratin waiting around for af or bfp to arrive. im pretty lucky as always 27-29 days and that 2ww is bad enough. hope you see some action either way soon

fairy - welcome. we all know its hard so whenever you need to release some tension pop along here. keep positive even though that seems so hard at mo. I hope your side effects lessen the longer your on clomid as it generally does.

well a glass of wine is needed tonight me thinks

Well today I am putting my metformin up to 1000mg so hope I'm not too bad.

fairy Sounds like you've been having a hard time of it lately. Was it the clomid that has caused you all the side effects? clairebear is right they do generally lessen the longer you are on it but hopefully you wont be on it too long.

clairebear How you feelin now? Hope you had a nice night with a lovely glass of wine.

peju Soz about bfn, my cons gave me provera to induce af as I dont usually take them on my own. May be something to consider if af doesnt arrive soon

im still waiting!! day61 now - know im not pg as tested using fmu yesterday and BFN so just waiting for af to arrive. If not here by nxt week going to go docs - so annoying never had one not turmn up before!

hi all, seems were all having a bit of tough time of it at the moment. i know i am not very pleasant at the moment, am very emotional- yes ladies the tantrums and hot flus and feel quite angry alot of the time at the moment. these pills are ust awful arent they. its so disheartening when when you have out this month isnt your month it doesnt help put the whole thing in much perspective.

plus some annoying bratish children keep ringing the doorbell grr!

anyhow rant over. i do hope everyone has enjoyed the bank holiday.

Stac14 & Clairebear - I'm on day 3 now of & no nausea this time but really off eating but thats not too much of a problem cos I could do with losing atleast 2 stone!!!!

I'm a lot positive today than I have been. One of my best friends told me a few days ago that she was preg by mistake! She was well worried about telling me. I had the initial shock & I needed a few days to get my head around it thinking "Not bloody me again!" As that is now 6 of my friends, family or work mates.

Another friend assures me it must be getter closer to my turn.

Big hugs for you Clairebear, hope the wine & chocs worked.

Fairy we seem to be going through a simular stage! I am on my 1st month of clomid today is the day i take my 5th clomid i believe you are on 4 today?

I wonder how things will go for us? So may questions, will it work? Am i wasting my time? Cant they just start the treatment with IVF?? LOL! I just want a baby so much, i know how it feels when people announce they are pregnant its like a heart wrench. I went to see my friends baby at the weekend and she is so beautiful i cried. They are so lucky to be blessed with her!
I have been very emotional, would you say this was the clomid?

I havnt had any bad side effects from the clomid though but perhaps because i am on metformin 1500mg and the horrid side effects from that have made the 50mg clomid feel like nothing! How are you getting on?

stac14 Nice to hear from you too! How are you getting on with the met and clomid together??
I find the metformin horrible i get sick through out the night mostly.

I mostly only take 2 500mg a day as i still find the 3 hard to stomach! The clomofine has had little or no effect on me. I am on cd6 and have taken 5 clomid so waiting for my scan day 12 - 14 to see if i have ovulated! Where abouts are you on your 1st cycle of clomid and metformin together?

Do you take levonthyroxine aswell???
