Hey Ozzie, yeah wine was good (all gone now!) Have eaten lots of stodge and watched trashy tv all night

Generally feeling sorry for myself, sometimes I just need a good wallow and then I'll move on and be fine!

Good luck with your OPks, it'll be interesting to see/hear how you get on with those.

Lol at mainlining grapefruit juice I haven't even thought about upping my game yet for this coming month, need to get over the disappointment from this month first I think, then I'll be with you

Ozziegirly · 02/09/2009 03:04

It's difficult because I want to do everything to help and assist, without becoming too obsessed about the whole thing.

Ozziegirly · 02/09/2009 07:57

Well, did my second OPK and still negative - weirdly I consider this to be a good thing so far as it's only CD9. Would love to be normal with a nice normal O at CD14....

kkas · 02/09/2009 10:17

Morning all

Thanks for all the replies on CDs post-pill. Guess I really am still just CD21. Caught myself looking at pg tests in both Boots and Superdrug today. But am pretty sure this month is not the month. No real symptoms other than bloated feeling/sore nipples (but always get that before AF anyway). Keep trying to imagine nausea, but I think it's really just mid-morning/afternoon hunger!

Anyway, I have promised myself I won't buy any tests at least until CD28 (week from today). And then next month I'll order the ebay cheapies/thermometer to start really charting.

claire sorry to hear about AF. Hope you're over it soon!

ozzie fingers crossed you are successful with the OPKs and are happy with what you find out.

Yes Ozzie your negative does sound positive , keep us posted.

Thanks kkas, I'm over the emotional side of things now just left with a very heavy painful period, I don't remember them being like this pre pill, but at least they are regular!

I remember with my first pill free cycle my nipples were really sore and tingly around when I would of expected to ovulate and continued to be so for around a week. With the two subsequent cycles they have been a little bit sore around OV time but nothing like that first cycle, I think my body was probably getting a rush of hormones post pill and has since regulated itself.

Good on you for resisting the PG tests so far, I have two in the bathroom just waiting there and it's quite tempting to use them nearer the end of your cycle - it's quite a good test of will power

bluesnowfalcon · 02/09/2009 19:51

claire I agree it is a huge test of will power and I'm stuggling to keep it at bay! Sorry to hear about your AF

Kkas my first cycle ended with a week of breast soreness particularly nipples and it hurt to wear a bra and take it off

Hope you feel better soon

CurlyCasper · 02/09/2009 20:15

sorry claire and others with AF. That's shit.

I started counting my first cycle from my first period off the pill. It came about a month after my previous pill-induced period, so seemed to be an actual period rather than withdrawal bleed IYSWIM.

For me OPKs have been neg from day 9 to now. But very faint lines some days - even though the packet says they are neg. still hopeful that I have ovulated and will catch on, as naive as that may be...

pepperonipizza · 03/09/2009 08:35

Hi All,

Hope you are all well (and Claire, hope drinking a nice glass of red is cheering you up). Blue, you are demonstrating amazing willpower!!

I have to agree with you all, I had very sore nipples during the first month coming off the pill. It hurt to have the duvet up over me!!

Well, temping update is that it's looking more like it should and I think I did ovulate, on Day 15. I feel much better now, even if it's not my lucky month, at least things are happening as they should.

I have an awful metallic/ sweet taste in my mouth, worse today than yesterday. I had it the first month TTC so I'm not reading anything into it. I'm only 3 days post-ov, so I'm thinking it's more to do with progesterone than possible pg. Oh, TWW symtom spotting here we go....

It's gone a bit quiet on here. Any luck this morning with the OPKs Curly?

fulhamgirl · 03/09/2009 09:10

I did POAS this morning (ebay cheapy) and got a BFN so guess I might be seeing AF at the weekend. Trying not to think about it and hoping that maybe it was too early or a crappy test!

claireinthecommunity · 03/09/2009 11:02

Curly I hope those faint lines meant you OV'd too.

Pepper yes the wine helped Your temping result does sound good. I know what you mean about feeling better because things seem to be happening when they should. My periods have been a similar length post pill and I've been getting EWCM when I would expect to - no PG as yet but hopefully that's just a matter of time...

Hi fulham I'm such an old lady I had to re read the second sentence of your post before I got what you meant I'm waiting for AF to leave so DH and I can start to really go for it this month How about you?

blue I don't have any experience of the ebay cheapy tests but I would think you were testing too early based on your usual cycle length. I do know how difficult it is, you want to test because you want to know, but I would wait until at least the day of or day after AF is due to test (easier said than done!) How are you feeling? Oh and thanks for updating the list

Thought I'd tell you my DH's cure for a painful period, and I quote:

"If we have lot's of sex, you'll get pregnant and then you won't have another period"

yes that's the idea darling

pepperonipizza · 03/09/2009 11:20

Claire, that's hilarious, your lovely DH. If only it were that easy.....

kkas · 03/09/2009 11:33

claire love the cure!

blues I also think it was too early - keeping my fingers crossed for you!

pepperoni glad you're happy with the temping. I'm definitely gonna start that next month. Also totally understand about the symptom spotting. Although today I feel completely boring and normal....

bluesnowfalcon · 03/09/2009 18:00

I know I was just hopeful cos it's my birthday!

Am now going to wait until Sunday

claireinthecommunity · 03/09/2009 22:47

Oh blue HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Hope you had/are having a good day, what have you been up to?

Ozziegirly · 04/09/2009 00:51

Happy Birthday blue

And claire your DH sounds great.

Well it's CD11 for me now, and I am pleased to report (tmi) that I actually had EWCM this morning! I can't believe I share so much on here

Anyway, it's pleasing and seems to mean that the evening primrose oil and grapefruit juice have actually started working. Will do my next OPK at lunch but am basically planning a weekend bonkathon.

Although annoyingly I don't actually feel well - there are loads of colds and flu going around here and last night I was awake tossing and turning with a high temperature, boiling hot or freezing cold. Feel a bit better today though but am so busy at work that I have had to drag myself in.

Thank goodness it's friday.

CurlyCasper · 04/09/2009 06:42

delayed happy birthday to blue! Claire what a great view on the situation from your DH. Onwards and upwards!

ozzie congrats on the EWCM, enjoy the weekend

pep still no joy yesterday morning (faintest of lines), and I haven't tested today.

I've decided that if it's happening this month it has already happened. After all, we did the deed from days 9 to 18. Haven't for a couple of days due to house guest, so very much hoping that it's a "normal" length cycle and I am actually in the 2ww now (CD22). One week till testing [fingers crossed emoticon]

bluesnowfalcon · 04/09/2009 06:59

thanks all for the birthday wishes

claire I didn't do a lot as I was at work and seem to be really tired at the mo so went to bed and watched tv after my DP ran me a bath!

Trying not to symptom spot so putting tiredness down to the early mornings now that I'm back at work!

Hope everyone has a good day x

CurlyCasper · 04/09/2009 07:04

I've put an image of my temp charts (this month's chart overlayed on last month's) here Any ideas anyone? I'm thinking ov is day 14 or 20 ish

kkas · 04/09/2009 09:09

Morning all

curly I have no real experience interpreting charts... so can't really say. If I had to, I would agree with you about Day 14 or so. Day 19 could have just been an off day?

blues happy belated birthday! Sounds very relaxing. Let us know how you get on with the further testing this weekend!

ozzie glad to hear about the EWCM, but sorry you're not feeling well. Maybe the BD will put you in a better mood

I am having an off day today, keep feeling nausea, but not the type that makes you feel sick, necessarily. Just general lightheadedness and fatigue. I had a horrible wind-type stomachache last night which put me off my dinner. But then it went away, just leaving this general sicky type feeling. It even woke me up this morning around 2:30am and then I did feel like I was going to be sick. In my head it all sounds promising, but could be just my body re-adjusting post pill...

Only one more week and hopefully I'll find out either way.

Here's the list for today:

Sevans TTC#1 cycle 1 UCL? CD71
bluesnowfalcon TTC#1 cycle 2 UCL30 CD28
kkas TTC#1 cycle 1 UCL? CD23
Curlycasper TTC#1 Cycle1 UCL? CD22
Aly323 TTC#1 Cycle 2 UCL 30 CD20
Pepperonipizza TTC#1 Cycle 3 UCL 25 CD 20
ImmaterialGirl TTC#1 cycle 2 UCL28 CD13
Fulhamgirl TTC#1 cycle UCL? CD13
Ozziegirly TTC#1 cycle UCL 27 CD11
Sky27 TTC#1 cycle 3 UCL 24? CD8
CJ2007 TTC#1 cycle ? UCL26 CD5
claireinthecommunity TTC#1 cycle 4 UCL29/30 CD5

Graduates:
Trying4Baby1 BFP 21Aug
Kaystar BFP 27Aug

Hope you all have a great weekend!

pepperonipizza · 04/09/2009 10:43

Curly, I've had a look at your chart and am understand why you would be confused about this month! I'm a total newbie at temping, so I can't offer any advice, only my support. Sounds like you have covered all possible bases with the BDing anyway (I would be exhausted if I were you!).

Ozzie, that's great!! Hope you have a great weekend . I get so excited when I see EWCM, last week I even texted DP from work to tell him

Kkas it's sounding good! I don't remember nausea first month coming off the pill (only the nipple/ duvet issue I mentioned earlier!).

Happy belated birthday blue!!

No news here, just pleased it's the weekend. Still have the weird metallic/ sweet taste, which is horrible - but I will happily live with it if it is a real pg symptom (very wishful thinking!!).

fulhamgirl · 04/09/2009 10:50

Hiya!

Im really good thank you havent been on here for ages. Congratulations Kaystar so happy for you.

As u know me and my bf are not ttc at the moment. I think we are just waiting to see if it happens. We are not using protection but we are just relaxed about the whole situation and if it happens it will be a nice suprise.

Hey Ozzie I hope it is good news for you I really do. Did u have a normal AF? Or can you get them kinda sypmtoms if youve already concieved this month? But I really am keeping all fingers crossed.

Happy Belated birthday Blues. Hope u had a good one.

Claire hahaha your DH view does not help a painful period. Marley and Me with a box of tissues and milk tray is the best cure lol!! Much to DH's dissapointment.
