dh and I are having a last push at ttc. we are giving it either a year or another mc before we give up (haven't told gp ) so i have decided to reopen the anti-testing thread!

Right she has arrived there is nothing like testing to produce an overdue AF.

I can move on too next months bedroom athletics and have a well deserved drink tonight.

Maybe month 19 will be my lucky month.

Good luck and finger crossed for you all

Back in 2 weeks but will loiter for BFP in between.

annie, I did exacly that with #1 after 3+ years I decided, I wouldn't prevent it i.e use contraception but I would not actively try I did this and by the time I did fall pregnant after over 6 months I had forgotten all about it and had booked holidays etc and got on with my life, I must say I was shocked when it happened, but there is alot in the forget about it and relax thing. Just can't seem to manage it this time round.

OracleInaCoracle · 23/03/2009 17:27

you sound so down! dh was the one who wanted to carry on ttc after the last mc, in fact he really surprised me. i will email you in a min xx

Oh Annie, I hope you don't mind me butting in, [hugs], you seem so sad about it all. Maybe nunnie is right and you need to take a break from actively trying? [hugs again]. Maybe you'll feel a bit better after talking to dh this evening.

shirleyc · 23/03/2009 20:33

Annie im so sorry your feeling this way, i agree with what everyones saying but in the end only you know whats best for you. Perhaps take a month out and enjoy yourself, drink and relax.
Nunnie im sorry af has appeared but like you say that in between stage is awful and now at least u can have a good bottle glass of wine and chill for the evening!
Lissie i'll be about in the morning wiating for your test results with anticipation!Hope you pee on the right end of the stick unlike someone on another thread i read about.... lol although when she peed on the right end she got a bfp.

Joycey29 · 23/03/2009 21:57

Hey Annie, sorry you are having a shite time. I really hope you come to a decision that makes you happy. It must be so hard with work and everything.

oh Annie im really pleased that you feel better and more relaxed. Sems you've made a decision your happy with

Lissie - any news.........

Notintheknow · 24/03/2009 07:33

Morning all,

Annie - I'm a bit of a newbie on this thread but v sorry to hear what a tough time you are having. Hope the break brings you some peace.

Shirley - re your post yesterday, yes getting the BD balance right is a nightmare. Have the impression that DH is beginning to go sex already because of the few conversations we've had about ttc. I've realised I'm not very good at seduction, we've always just got on with it in the past!

'Pistache' - damn, forgot to take my temp again today.

BTW did anyone watch the great sperm race last night? Informative but not terribly encouraging I'm afraid.

Any good news from anyone this morning?

Notintheknow · 24/03/2009 07:35

sorry, make that "go off sex". 'Go sex' actually sounds like it would be a good thing
