dh and I are having a last push at ttc. we are giving it either a year or another mc before we give up (haven't told gp ) so i have decided to reopen the anti-testing thread!

thanks nunnie! DH came home from work, saw how upset i was, bless he said he cant imagine how i must feel and if they wont do HCG tests then the best we can do at home is CBD test as it would be lower or higher.
So as im skint he took me to tescos and bought me some tests! Just so you ll know along with tescos 4 tests for 9 pound, they are also doing double packs of CBD for 9.50 saving of 3 pound (pound sign doesnt work on my laptop)
Feeling alot happier about it all now i know he understands me

Yayy for the non yukky pills im pleased for you and to everyone thankyou so much for being here for me i really do appreciate it. Did the last CBD last Saterday so not sure when to do it again? Cheers everyone! xx

When did your bleed start? I would test again a couple of weeks after that day.

a couple of weeks from the bleeding starting or ending? I started bleeding on the 27/28th. Bear in mind the day i started bleeding was the Friday when i had brown blood, and id tested with CBD that same day and said Not pregnant. The next CBD last weekend said pregnant 2-3, and every single test ive done since then have been BFP's. I finished bleedin the Thursday after which would make it the 2nd funny enough the bleedin would have been spot on AF due time. They said i could go back and have another scan after a week which is this Tuesday but i may go on Wednesday as yet not sure. Theres no way on this planet i can wait longer than that

I would do a cbd on tuesday and if showing as progressing I would go with your plan to scan on wednesday.

I agree with Nunnie - cbd tues and then sort scan. I know it's hard but that way you will know where you stand.
I have to say it does all seem so confusing for you!
Hurray for the non -yucky pills and keep fighting the witch lemon!

Thats really sweet of your DH Iaatcey - shows how much he cares. I'd agree test on Tuesday.

Got my prescription and got home then found chemist had only given my 13 tablets rather than 28 - 1 weeks supply - groan had to turn round and go back. I can't even have a consoling glass of wine - penicillin and alcohol don't mix with me.

Felt awful today DH said I looked pale when he got home - and felt faint. Can this count as a sympton?

hi again everyone.

sorry this thread is just so big for me to try and keep up with, i was hoping to jump in again when the ne on started but feel like i am going mad just now.

quick recap is that this is only my 2nd month trying, last month (after coming of pill) i only had a 24 day cicle so no idea if i should be going by 24 or 28 days this month

if 24 days my af is due today, if 28 days my af would be due next tues. so when would you test???

i do feel quite bleugh today. really really tired and dont have much appetite, also (sorry tmi coming up) but my discharge sems to have increased. is this another sign of pregnancy?

i dont know if i am just trying to convince myself because i want it so much this month or if there might be something in it [clutching at straws]

Hi Kerry, sorry to hear you're feeling a bit bleugh.

I am also due today and am also deciding whether or not to test yet. My argument is this - if it's a bfp I'd like to know, but if it's a bfn I won't fully believe it until AF comes along. And obviously the longer I leave it the more certain I can be of the results.

So I'm trying to hold out until the beginning of next week if AF does not arrive before then (we'll see I'm not sure my willpower is that strong!). My cycle is usually 28 days spot on but on occassion I am a few days late so I'm trying not to get my hopes up in case it is on of those months iyswim.

Hope that helps and well done for not testing before this!

Oh, and I meant to say, as you've recently come off the pill your cycles might be eratic to begin with, so it might be quite difficult to trust a bfn if you get one now.

Hello kerry, I myself would test later in the week, just to be sure that you can trust the result, If you test now and get a neg, then you will only have to test later if AF doesn't come, I would save your money.
I am not sure about the discharge I know I get some just before my AF, but I have heard some prople on here say a change in it can be a symptom of pregnancy only time will tell. Try and hold off a little longer, I know it is hard, but it will be worth it.

Afternoon everyone else, hope you are all holding out.
Still too early for symptom spotting for me, but I am trying hard to find some now, so I don't hold out much hope for this month being a totally non spotting month I am still sticking to the not testing till AF late, I may even got he whole hog and not test till it is a week late are you convinced? If yes glad someone is

Hi guys can I join?! Serial tester here, in need of a good slap !! 1st mnth of ttc

BFN ths morning 3 days before AF..., I have a dd, 7 and a ds, 2, who has Special needs, so I am usually on that board, he has severe epilepsy, very low muscle tone,so wont walk for a while etc, brain damage and development delay in all areas due to a genetic disorder, me and DP have bn tested and are ok and we have less than 1% chance it happening again, so we thought, ok, one last shot, praying everything goes ok, as I have had 3 miscarriages also, 2 when my dd was about 2 yrs old, and 1 last January
