dh and I are having a last push at ttc. we are giving it either a year or another mc before we give up (haven't told gp ) so i have decided to reopen the anti-testing thread!

As far as symptom spotting it goes like this:
sickness and disliking pork!
burny feeling sometimes in my boobs
crampy pains last few days
bitchiness more than normal
jealousy¬!?!? i dont do jealous
thats all for now lol work at 2 so i can take my mind of it all.......

Shirleyc, you appear to be taking over my symptom spotting job very nicely indeed

My symptoms for today, nout! all signs of AF coming gone again, all signs of hope gone!

Don't use weapons against the witch I have learnt my lesson, she dissapears but you know she will come back she leaves a mind slot just for thoughts of her!

Roll on Wednesday I say, cos if she isn't here by then, I can start to rehope (word?? I like it anyway), if she is here I can have a bloomin DRINK!!!

Hi guys, at work on Mothering sunday so feeling a little annoyed - still the boarders need someone to look after them - been playing football and hide and seek all afternoon.
Bad luck Liskey - we all feel for you! It must be so hard but we are all here for you!
Nunnie - I've had a BFP and have no symptons now at all - really doing my head in so can't imagine your state of mind!
Lissie - I hope you get a better nights sleep - wont be long til you can sympton spot again with the best of us!

Cramps back, and CM present now, so she is almost here. I think I shall be on the December bus before the day is through.

hi ladies, sorry I've been absent for a few days. Commiserations for those who've not had the result they wanted/not even had to test - sounds like you've had a bad week Liskey, so sorry. And best of luck to the remaining hopefuls.

Hoping to join anyone who is up for having another crack this month. Was thinking of going with the sex every other day tactic rather than bothering with the ovulations sticks. What do you lot all do?

Notintheknow - I've been trying sex around ovulation tactic - which obv hasn't worked so far. I have a pretty regular 28 day cycle so I thought I knew when I was ovulating from CM and cramps and timings etc but possibly we've been off target so I've invested in some of those cheapie ebay OV sticks and I'm due to start testing today and this month I've been checking my temperature too. If that doesn't work then I think we're going to have to do the every other day tactic as you suggest - but I really don't want to do that because it's soooo unromantic and - tmi alert - after over ten years together it's not exactly our usual routine!

Shirley - how goes it with the symptom spotting? Any more?

Hunger - once i dont feel sick i can eat and eat and still want more (maybe its a worm and not a baby!)
Small headache
Emotional (but thats sadness over Jade Goody passing away and the loss for her family)

Hey like i was told before a symptoms a symptom and im still hanging on in there testing around the 28th and not before unless af gets me! i shall remain positive!

lol you think they are good symptoms? I wouldn't know! Ok ladies grab those bats if this sounds hopeful we gotta keep her away! forgot to add my coffee didnt taste as good this morning really odd, but it may be because i hadn't brushed my teeth by that point!?

I have got some of those cheapy sticks too. used them last month to no avail but think perhaps I just wasn't using them right because I only got one v faint pos and then AF 10 days later. I'm now on day 6 of my cycle, any point starting to do temps now? Or do I need a whole month's worth of recording for it to make any sense?

I know what you mean about every other day. Have only mentioned it in passing to DP in order not to make a big deal of the TTC thing but my sex drive is fairly pedestrian most of the time so it's going to take a huge effort. I just thought that'd be a bit less stressful for him than suddenly having to perform a lot around ov time.

Hey Notintheknow - I only started temping a few days ago, I know it ought to be for the whole month but it makes me feel like I'm doing something useful.

As for every other day sex, I haven't dared mention it yet to dh for fear of him running for the hills. I'm praying and hoping it won't come to that!

notinthenknow its difficult isnt it knowing how much would seem pushy to dh/dp We're being relaistic, anything more than twice a month is good for us! tmi but we're up to about 8/10 times now, ive stopped dotting trhe calender now lmao thats a record since the early days haha.

My DH hates me temping - the bleep bleep bleep of the thermometre wakes him up every time as he thinks its the alarm clock - not popular at 3 or 4 in the morning!

As for every other day he'll be terrified....I mentioned that on Saturday (after being together 14 years) he'll be scared!
