dh and I are having a last push at ttc. we are giving it either a year or another mc before we give up (haven't told gp ) so i have decided to reopen the anti-testing thread!

god i hate that obsessiveness. Have been every other cycle, bar the one i actually got pg on

You must not obsess. ever ever ever.

AND NOT TEST

ScorpiowithabigS · 18/02/2009 09:46

i am feeling more positive this time - i am concentrating on eating well, etc, to optimise success next time. Every small thing, i guess

definately. have you read zita wests book re diets etc for ttc? tis v good.

tbh, i hate testing now. i have to test on PDD and after period has finished. costs me a fecking foortune!

OP posts:

no i haven't, i am going to stay away from things like that, and those conception pregnacare things, purely because i will become obsessed that i cannot conceive - i know i can, i just had an 'accident' this time, it is not sign of things to come

dykwim??

you should make use of offers! Boots tests are good - got (faint)bfp on them when docs was neg when i started mc

ScorpiowithabigS · 18/02/2009 10:00

i'm just taking regular pregnacare, making sure i get 5 a day and protein, calcium, etc. Trying to get out every day for walk, etc. Have also had sex since mc and that was ok - big stepping stone in my head.

ScorpiowithabigS · 18/02/2009 10:03

also why i dont want to join a ttc after mc thread - will make my worries worse, and often the women on therre have recurrent mc, and mine was 'just' a blighted ovum (must have been), so feel slighty fraudish.

DH says i should stay off ttc on mn as it makes me baaaaaaaaaaad.

OracleInaCoracle · 18/02/2009 10:10

lol, tbh i dont touch the regular ttc or ttc after mc threads anymore. its very easy for me to become bitter, and i dont want to get into a suffering competition iykwim.

know what you mean about sex being a big steppingstone, we cant have sex while im pg because of the rmc so it tails off at end of cycle.

oh, and it wasnt "just" a blighted ovum. you still need to grieve for the future that you have lost.

OP posts:
ScorpiowithabigS · 18/02/2009 10:11

exactly - about the suffering. i go on the ttc#4 thread, no competition there, nice to chat, etc. I don't even know what cd im on, thats how im doing it this time!

OracleInaCoracle · 18/02/2009 10:12

thats good, must be v liberating!

OP posts:
ScorpiowithabigS · 18/02/2009 10:13

it sort of is! Though i will check in a few days for any fertile-ness

OracleInaCoracle · 18/02/2009 10:16

lol i can never relax enough to lose track of days. tbh the ep haschanged everything. i cant leave peeing for as long as possible anymore. i keep an eye on any twinges etc.

still, one day im sure itll happen again for us. our family isnt complete yet iykwim

OP posts:
ScorpiowithabigS · 18/02/2009 10:18

i do totally know what you mean - a woman knows IMO. I will feel done when i have dc4 and a dog.

I'm sure your ep has changed everything - it was a huge thing to go through.

OracleInaCoracle · 18/02/2009 10:19

lol we have the dog. who we need to get de-knackered asap. he is rather fond of my leg

OP posts:
ScorpiowithabigS · 18/02/2009 10:23

OracleInaCoracle · 18/02/2009 10:26

OracleInaCoracle · 18/02/2009 10:34

he is lovely. has a lot of character!

OP posts:
ScorpiowithabigS · 18/02/2009 13:49

I know they are no use to me!! i have tried before and they stress me and i know when im fertile! (v good cm and high cp)

OracleInaCoracle · 18/02/2009 13:50

OP posts:
ScorpiowithabigS · 18/02/2009 13:51
