Hi Ruby, how're you feeling this morning? Also wanted to say good luck, Kat with your bloods this morning, really hope they drop right off soon. Have they scanned you at all? Would they be able to see anything/whether it had started forming in the womb/tubes etc? Really hope your cycle can get back to normal V V soon x Twig

Hello Rainbowdays, MrsD, are you both out there??

mrsdisorganised · 16/02/2009 10:16

Hi all!
Hope everyone is ok....and had a good weekend.

How was the film Scorpio? Hope you and Dh managed to have some 'you' time.
Kat I hope your body is starting to behave again.
Hope you're ok Babyblue....have been thinking of you.x
Hello to all you other lovely ladies! x

RubysTheBoss · 16/02/2009 11:04

Twig..you've made me chuckle with your 'excuses' to go into the kitchen! I am in the same boat...Dh doesn't get all this on-line chatting, or even texting, so he thinks that I am constantly emptying the washer! Ha!

Think we are due some happy news here soon...there seems to be alot of bad luck and worry about !
Sending everyone lots of happy, healthy good luck vibes!! xx

rainbowdays · 16/02/2009 11:04

Hi all,

I have had a lovely weekend, with our whole family (yes 10 month old too!) to the cinema to watch HOLT, the new disney offering. It was good, my ds' loved it, my dd was not sure about it, but seemed to think it was ok.

I am feeling fat and frumpy and got backache due to being overweight again. I need to motivate myself into loosing some weight, but just failing abominably. Stopping eating biscuits and chocolates would help tremedously!!!!

Scorpio - good to hear you can return to baby-making again now, you sound a bit happier now.

Kat - how frustrating, it does sadly sound like a gradually failing pregnancy, but it is so slow. Hope the blood tests results are back quickly for you again today.

Babyblue - your romantic dinner sounds wonderful, just a little jealous here, but I did at least get out for a meal with dh on friday night.

OK I better go and get sorted for the day now, I have had a super lazy start to the morning, wonderful.

ScorpiowithabigS · 16/02/2009 11:52

The film was excellent. Rainbow we want to see Holt too with the boys, no t sure about taking Mimi though, how was that?

Bleeding has totally stopped, back to normal cm, so will see how we go.

Not much planned for half term really, have just got in from being at the park. Will ring a friend for a meet up later in the week, i think.

So, is today cd8?

ScorpiowithabigS · 16/02/2009 11:53

btw, i miss BF terribly

HeinzSight · 16/02/2009 12:28

I'm sorry for you about BF Scorpio, that's horrid for you. XX

babyblue3 · 16/02/2009 14:20

Morning Ladies... lazy start to my day too as it is a holiday and everyone is home! DH is making pancakes for breakfast as we speak, and has seen me chatting away on MN. Yes... he makes fun of me too! LOL... but is happy I have all of you to lean on Tomorrow is my apt, and I am currently trying to distract myself from thinking too much on it.

Scorpio... I would count it as such! Like I said, I ov 2 weeks after m/c. I know what you mean about the BF. I had to stop when DD2 was 10 months because I had hernia surgery. I wasn't ready to give it up so quick (especially since she was my first bf success). I am hoping DC4 will be successful at BF.

Kat... have you gone for blood tests yet?

DD2 is screaming bloody murder right now... hard to focus on typing! LOL.. does anyone miss a quiet house??? LOL. DD2 has learned to slap whenever she doesn't get her way. So when she slaps the others, they slap her hand back and she screams like a banshee! This is not what I had in mind for her to learn at daycare! Sigh...

How is everyone else??

Thanks to all my new FB friends Been enjoying all the pics of your little ones (not stalkerish at all!!!). Such beautiful families you all have!

ScorpiowithabigS · 16/02/2009 14:26

your lazy start sounds lovely! Its half term here too, but DH has to work, and i am home alone all weekend this weekend too (over cd12, & 13 but will see him on 14, not too worried think i ov normally about cd19 anyway) Your appointment will be ok tomorrow, i'm sure. What is happening at this one? The amnio?

Katonahottinroof · 16/02/2009 17:13

Today's HCG was.... drumroll.... 98! It's gone down by 9 in 2 days!
Crap.
I have to keep going back until they fall below 50 so back again on Wednesday

Everyone sounds good, half term here so we've had a lazy day today - I was at a competition all day with DD1 yesterday so we were a bit tired still.

Kat, you poor thing, what an interminable wait for you. Would they see anything with a scan, or has that not been suggested?

Am meant to be cooking dc supper, but hmm, seem to find myself mnetting. I only joined at the beginning of the year and am completely addicted.

And yes, we are SO due some good luck for ALL of us. Starting with your appt tomorrow, Babyblue and your blood levels at your next appt Kat.

love to all, Twig x

HeinzSight · 16/02/2009 21:41

Kat what a complete and utter nightmare/pain in the arse for you , how long are they going to keep making you have blood tests? Surely this isn't right.

Twig, did your DC get fed?

I am SOOOOO tired, think I'm off to bed in a minute, night all xx

twiglettini · 16/02/2009 21:46

Hello Heinz, hope you have a good night. Yes the lovelies did get some quick and easy bacon and eggs supper not v healthy, but they love it. Then, [buggery] dh came home so had to shut the laptop quick sharp! Am slovenly and lazy mum tonight [hee hee]

HeinzSight · 16/02/2009 21:52

Ooops, still here DHs just don't get MN or FB or texting do they!

mrsdisorganised · 16/02/2009 21:53

Night Heinz x

Kat, second the 'complete nightmare for you', hope you're ok. x
Good luck for tomorrow Babyblue x
Twig, I'm as bad as you with mn...wonder when it wears off??
Ruby...definitely need some positive happy news now!
Quick couple of questions Do you get af earlier if you have ov'd early? and Should you go for a routine smear if you are ttc....don't want to tell gp, not overly supportive...have been googling and now I'm very confused!

Well dh is away, after a long heavy going weekend, too many decisions re future etc, he is worried about a few things and he's a bit like a rain cloud... so now it's back to me and the girls, he has just phoned to say night and sorry, so he is aware....hopefully we'll get back on track next weekend!

twiglettini · 16/02/2009 21:56

Go to bed, Heinz, i'm sure you could do with the sleep . DH and me watching mission impossible 3 recorded from last night. well, him watching, me on the putie

twiglettini · 16/02/2009 21:58

Hello MrsD, sorry took a while to write last post as MI3 got exciting, so x posted.

Nice to hear from you, sorry you had a heavy weekend. When is dh back? when is af due?

mrsdisorganised · 16/02/2009 22:01

Hi twig.... enjoying the 'boy' film then Dh will be home on friday, so not long, and af is due around 3rd march...(right in time for when dh and I get to go away to see Riverdance, didn't plan that very well).

twiglettini · 16/02/2009 22:02

Sorry MrsD, I think they do recommend you have a smear if you are overdue one, when was your last one? as they are not keen to do them when preg. Can you go to a family planning clinic to have one. I much prefer it as they do them all the time and don't know me

Don't know about af and ov, don't think it nec follows, as could mean you have a longer luteal phase. Hopefully someone who actually understands women's fertility will be along soon and put me right

mrsdisorganised · 16/02/2009 22:07

Family planning clinic is nearly two hours away and I didn't feel like driving in tbh....I was due a smear in the summer but just forgot....Maybe I'll cancel though, jsut felt I should get it over with, I'm probably not pg as my cycle has been a bit weird anyway and I haven't seen alot of dh Thanks anyway

twiglettini · 16/02/2009 22:10

Riverdance sounds fun, is that at the theatre [bit thick emoticon]

mrsdisorganised · 16/02/2009 22:14

Yes it's coming up to Edinburgh, I've seen it before but thought I'd drag dh this time can't wait although haven't left the dc's since dd4 was born and we'll be away for two nights....not good at that, i'm sure it will do them the world of good though!

twiglettini · 16/02/2009 22:16

Aaah, MrsD, how lovely to have 2 nights on your own together, (shame not around ov time). How far are you from Edinburgh and who is having your lovely children?

mrsdisorganised · 16/02/2009 22:20

We are a good five hours away and my sis and mum will be 'sharing' our dd's! Hope it's not too much for sis though, she's due in April!
I really should be off to bed...so will say good night, enjoy the rest of your evening. x

twiglettini · 16/02/2009 22:22

sleep well.

Would like to chat more, esp about preg sisters, but another time, night night x
