MrsDis I recognise him but can't for the life of me think of his name.

Someone spill!

Kat - sorry to hear the witch found you But a May baby would be lovely Keepin fingers crossed that this is your month.

Rainbow - Have never tried the EPO, and the raspberry leaf tea is horrid! LOL... I have some, but my tummy turns just thinking of it! I think I will just wait and see what happens. I have a feeling he will be at least 4 days overdue. My theory is that I make smaller boys, so they need extra time to cook! My girls were both bigger and one came on her due date and the other, the very next morning.

In the mean time, DD1 and I spent the day shopping and then had pedicures done. Was very nice! Now that I am properly primped, this baby can arrive without me feeling like a neglected and frumpy housewife!

babyblue3 · 22/07/2009 19:23

Sooo... still preggo.... sigh.... 4 days and counting!

Scorps · 22/07/2009 19:26

Goodness not long

I'm 17+5 now, getting there slowllllly

20 week scan 2 weeks friday, we are finding out, i think boy but most think girl.

How is everyone? Im worried about SF, but carrying on, just using hand gel and avoiding crowds. My DH is not going to Greece either.

My cat had the snip today, poor little thing

rainbowdays · 22/07/2009 22:44

In 2ww, - argggggg.

Scorps · 23/07/2009 13:58

ooh good luck rainbow (i keep stalking for Ready news....)

I bought this today:

crib

Mimi has the full cot already, just thought baby would have this till 6 months, mimi will be 2 then and will go in bed and dc4 will have her cot then. Then i will sell it, or keep, as i said to DH this morning im game for more dc, if he isnt then he should have the snip (hates condoms - shocker for a man, huh??), and he said he didnt want to incase we changed our minds as we are young and may squeeze in 1 more when this one is 5 or so...

Meanbeansmum · 24/07/2009 23:26

Hi .

I'm so sorry I haven't been on here, been so busy with my three little rascals and my car came out of the garage so I found my FREEEEEDDDDOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! Whoop!

Scorps, your dh is sensible, never say never. ;) If you can cope with 4 what's one more I say ;)

Rainbow, good luck in the 2ww!!! Thankyou for asking after me, ds1 bf for 9 months, ds2 for 2 years and 1 week, little blighter didn't want to quit. I do love bfing though, makes me feel motherly the rest of the time I'm shouting orders at the little monkeys lol.

Babby blue, I tried EPO up myfairywizzwong (sorry lol) to help soften things....I'll warn you now, it stinks! Or it did to me, I couldn't tolerate the smell and the greasy feeling. Sorry tmi...and no it didn't work lol! I don't think anything does, mine like staying put! Good luck, how long have you got left?

Ok....I kind of (I say kind of...) decided to leave ttc for a while because I'm so paranoid about swine flu in pg. But I'm ovulating and have just been very naughty! I may have missed ovulation in the last day or so...we'll see what happens, still not a high chance at the moment (I'm sure I'll never catch while bfing no matter how little lol) so I'm taking it easy, we'll be happy with whatever life throws at us (apart from dreaded S Flu!).

I hope ypu are all well, I will have a read back and see how you have all been.

Meanbeansmum · 24/07/2009 23:29

Oh and forgot to say dh's op got cancelled. It's being rescheduled.

Oh and I saw tescos own pg tests today for £1.69!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have picked up a load (just for poas fun) but did the embarrassed at picking up pg tests thing lol...So silly.

Kat, so sorry af got you too! I hope you get a strong bfp this month (((hugs))).

babyblue3 · 26/07/2009 15:14

How is everyone today?? Its my due date and still no sign of him wanting to COME OUT!! That means 4 out of 4 of my children made it to the due date! Sigh... maybe I make things too comfy in there!! LOL

Meanbeans - got a good laugh at the idea of you scooping up an armful of HPTs and then getting too red-faced to actually buy them!! LOL... Guess we have a new POAS addict on our thread!!!

Rainbow- how much longer before you test??

Kat - whats new with you??

sweetkitty · 26/07/2009 15:46

Just found this thread again

babyblue - cannot believe today is your EDD that has gone fast

I'm so fed up today CD29 I have never gone beyond 27 days cycles, am down to 2 BFs a day now as well so should be all systems go, tested again this morning with a Poundshop cheapie and BFN, plus I have horrendous PMT don't know what is going on with my body

Hope everyone else is having a better day

rainbowdays · 26/07/2009 21:46

Babyblue - happy due date to you. yep you are obviously keeping bubs too comfy!!! How far over did you get with your others?

Sweetkitty - oh poohy at the body messing around, but I hope it is because you are just about to get a bfp, rather than just the body readjusting.

Meansbeans - you know it is when people stop trying that they get pg, so just perhaps your little whoops has blown your aim for not really trying!

Well babyblue, being a poas addict like I am I started testing at 7dpo, am now 10dpo and BFN's. Don't think it has happened this month, but started diet today, so if it has not at least it gives me a chance to lose some weight in the next couple of weeks!

Kat - you are quiet here, I assume it is because you are busy!

Katnkittens · 27/07/2009 21:36

Hiya
Yeah school holidays means not a good time to be on the computer!

I actually don't want to conceive this month or next month as I am going back to university and exams are at the beginning of May, really don't want to screw it up again!

So NOT TTC for a couple of months, am using a CBFM to keep my cycles in check and have been getting highs from CD6 lol, CD11 now and still high.
We did the deed on CD8 before I realised the timing thing, please tell me there's not much chance of it happening!

Cant believe Im trying NOT to get pregnant, it would be just my luck if I did and I actually REALLY dont want to.

mrsdisorganised · 27/07/2009 22:29

Have been trying to catch up, dd's off school so not much time to myself or computer!

Hope everyone is ok. Babyblue, any news yet!!

Just quickly....Kat, Dh was only home on CD8 of the month dc5 was conceived....was our last 'attempt'! Hate to say it but theres always a chance. I usually ov'd on about cd18 so was a complete fluke! Hope you're ok.

rainbowdays · 28/07/2009 07:36

MrsD - hi how are you doing? good to see you back here, it is difficult with children being off school to find time to get online definitely.

Kat - , one whoops is all it takes!

Sweetkitty - how are you? Any news?

wishinanhopin · 28/07/2009 14:03

Hi Girls
I need advice. So I started clomid July 14th. I didn't wait for my period to start because I never get my periods. They are very random, and my Dr told me not to wait, just to start.
So I took the 5 pills 50mg. DH and I went to work for a week straight, and today July 28th AF arrived. Last night when DH and I were bding it was a bit painful, and now today here is AF in all her fury.
I can't get into my gyno until August 17th and really don't want to waste a month if I don't have to. So I'm wondering what you ladies would do if you were me......should I begin a second dose of clomid for the next 5 days. And if so what days of your period do you start taking it. (having never started the first round on my cycle I don't know what days to take it)Sorry for the novel, but I know you ladies have been through it ALL, and may be able to offer me some advice
hugs to all xoxoxox

HeinzSight · 28/07/2009 21:10

Hi all, sorry for my absence again. How is everyone?

I've only got 2 weeks to go. I'M TERRIFIED!!!!!!!!!!!

babyblue3 · 30/07/2009 19:27

Hi everyone!! FINALLY... my baby boy is here! Here is his birthstory! I will post some pics on FB when we get settled!!

Considering this is baby #4, and my past 2 labours have been only 4 hours, I was not prepared for what this baby had in store for me! My hubby and I decided to go run some errands on Tuesday morning since I was nesting like crazy. At about 1:15pm, in the middle of the mall, I had my first contraction! It stopped me dead in my tracks! With my other kids, I was always woken out of a sleep in active labour, so this was new. When my Hubby came over to me, I told him we'd better go home. I had 2 more contractions on the way, about 20 mins apart. Once home, we started timing the contractions. They were super painful, worse than I remember from my 2-year-old, and were coming at very random intervals. I started to have the feeling I was in for a long day! The contractions would get really close together, then start getting farther apart. Because they were so painful, I had no doubt that it was the real deal. My hubby called work and told them he would be staying home, my mom came over to take care of my kids, and I just waited. By about 5pm, the contractions had slowed to about 36 mins apart, so Hubby and I decided to go for a walk. We walked for about an hour in the worst heat and humidity, to no avail. Thats when I decided to lay down and get some rest. It was only then that the contractions started coming harder and closer. Just after 8pm, they were finally about 5 minutes apart, so we called the hospital and told them we were on our way. We got to L&D just before 9pm, and it was packed!! I was put into an assesment room and had to wait almost 20 minutes before the doc came to check me. I was already 8cm dilated! I was moved to a delivery room, and by the time the nurse had all my paperwork filled out, I was starting to feel the urge to push. She checked me again and found just a small rim left. A couple of contractions later, the urge to push came so hard, that I couldn't fight it! The nurse (who had zero bedside manner) was yelling at me not to push, but I couldn't help it. She quickly got the doc in the room, and by my second push, my boys' head was out! The 'ring of fire' was horrible! It was only with that pain that I was able to slow down my push so that the doc could get his head out slowly. The third push and my son was out. He didnt cry much but was pink and healthy and perfect! Its funny, but no one seemed to know when my water broke! There was no gush, and it was not broken for me. Wierd! I was so relieved when the doc told me I did not tear at all. Aside from a couple of sucks of Nitrous right at the end, I did it naturally. Marco Giuseppe was born at 10:13pm, weighing 7lbs 5oz, and was 20in long. Hubby got to cut the cord, and my 11-year-old daughter and my 10-year-old son were both present in the labour room, and witnessed the entire birth. They were so happy to be there! I am just happy that he is finally here and that he is healthy and perfect. I love him to pieces!

Babyblue, huge congratulations! That's amazing news! 'Ring of fire' made me LOL, I had that with ds1, not had it since, maybe I'm a bit saggy now lol! It feels a bit like passing a bumpy concrete bollard that's on fire doesn't it lol!
