Guys we need a new group! Wouldn't let me post in old one.

MrsDis I recognise him but can't for the life of me think of his name.

Someone spill!

Hmm just looked again, it's been about 10 mins, got a nice evap line... think it's an evap anyway, it's the same thickness as the other line but very faint and not sure if vv light pink or grey...

Might it be worth doing my CB digi in the morning?

Katnkittens · 19/06/2009 10:18

BFN on FR

Stupid body getting my hopes up

Oh well, must try harder next month. How come I can get pregnant without even trying 4 times and when I start trying it's taking ages???

Kat - {{{{hugs}}}}, so sorry to hear that your ebc's are being mean to you. It is still early, don't fret yet. Are you testing with another ebc tomorrow? Thinking of you. If it brings a smile to your face, just think here am I waiting for a BFN while you are waiting for a BFP, ironic eh!!!!

Katnkittens · 19/06/2009 11:14

Hi rainbow,
Not testing anymore, sick of thinking about it tbh.. 99% sure af will arrive on Sunday anyway.

Thinking of going out tonight and drinking loads of wine.

mrsdisorganised · 19/06/2009 12:54

Kat go out and have some fun! Sorry about the BFN's, it's so frustrating, I always got far too much into symptom spotting and used a ridiculous amount of tests. Anyway you haven't reached Af yet.....

Rainbow, have been thinking of you, hope the levels sort them selves out soon.

Had a check up today and baby's lack of movement has been worrying me, all fine strong heartbeat and is lying with it's legs etc facing inwards, maybe a contributing factor in the lack of movement. Anyway feel happier now, must try to stay awake at night and see if I can feel it move whilst I am still!!!

Hope everyone else is ok.

Katnkittens · 20/06/2009 10:19

Well looks like TTC is off for a while. Just got my smear test results and they showed moderate dyskinesis (CIN2) which is kind of middle pre cancerous cells.

I have to go for more tests on Thursday but no doubt I'll end up with the burning of cells etc... great fun eh?

I'll stick around though and keep you updated

Oh and mrsdis I did have fun last night, loads of wine and nice company, really enjoyed myself.

Katie

mrsdisorganised · 20/06/2009 11:51

Oh Kat, that's really rubbish for you! Try to stay positve, although this must be playing havoc with your mind, so easier said than done I suppose....please rant at any time it helps!
Glad you had a good time last night, we went out but I was kept busy chasing our girls who were extremely excited! The party was right by the sea so needed eyes in the back of my head!!! But was good all the same, kids knackered today , I've just finished my cleaning job and hiding with a cuppa

Katnkittens · 20/06/2009 12:03

LOL sounds mental!!

I'm fine, most pre cancers don't even develop into cancer anyway and are easily treated but it's just another thing to have to think about really. Plus my cervix is in a stupid tilted position and even smears are tricky and painful so not gonna enjoy this treatment.

On the plus side DH is being extra nice to me

rainbowdays · 20/06/2009 12:11

Kat - aw, sorry to hear that you have to go for treatment, but good to hear that dh is being extra nice to you, you deserve it.

I had a great night last night, friends came with their two children and stayed the night. I have never laughed so much til 3am in all my life. I have been up to 3am for a very long time anyway, but it was just fun and laughter all night. We got drunk and played Wii games making a total racket but fortunately the kiddies slept though it all!!!!

rainbowdays · 20/06/2009 12:12

I have not been up til 3am for a very long time.... typo !!!! , must still be drunk!

Diege · 20/06/2009 14:26

Not sure if anyone remembers me (twas the orginal carrot )but wanted to let you know I haven't forgotten any of you and lurk regualarly...Anyhoos, just to let you know that I had a little boy (well, 9Ib 8oz) called Jacob last Saturday. He's doing well, and seems to be fitting in very well with family life. We are busy, but very happy, and I definitely feel 'finished' off in the family department!
Good luck to everyone on here - you're a great bunch

Katnkittens · 20/06/2009 14:32

Diege! Of course we remember you!

C O N G R A T S!!!

So pleased for you, hope little Jacob is a good boy for you and you don't have too many sleepless nights

Diege · 20/06/2009 15:04

Thanks KAT . Please don't worry too much about the CIN, although I know it's hard. I've had CIN 3 twice and all was well after pretty basic treatment. Just shout if you need to know anything! xx

Katnkittens · 20/06/2009 16:06

Really? Thats reassuring thanks Makes you appreciate the importance of smear tests doesn't it!

It's given me a kick up the arse to give up the fags though... was waiting for a BFP to make me quit (I always quit the day I get my BFP without any problems) but maybe I need to stop asap.

What treatment did you have Diege? Was it painful?

Kat

Diege · 20/06/2009 17:42

First time round the initial diagnosis from the smear was confirmed by punch biopsy from colposcopy. Treatment was LLETZ (large loop exision of the transformation zone). Was under a general anasthetic, but I think in some places they'll do with local. Not at all painful, just a bit of cramping for a day or two after and period-type bleed. Second time round, they couldn;t really see much on colp after CIN results from smear, so went in a bit deeper with the loop (more like a cone biopsy) and results were actually CIN 1 from biopsy, even though smear said CIN 3 - all clear margins around biopsy sample though, so were happy (there is a tendency to overread smears I'm told, so if borderline they'll read up to the next level of CIN. Again, recovery fine. Have had yearly smears too since and all normal. I was also told I'd tested positive for HPV virus, which is what they vaccinate girls against today, so might be worth seeing if you've got it too (most people have - up to 80%). Hope this helps! xx

rainbowdays · 20/06/2009 18:15

Diege - BIG CONGRATULATIONS, , so happy for you. So our first carrot has arrived, that is great news. I also LOVE the name Jacob. And thank you for coming especially so soon after giving birth - I am impressed you came to tell us so soon.

mrsdisorganised · 20/06/2009 18:17

Diege!!
Congratulations, enjoy the baby bit! Jacob is a lovely name (big baby too!).x

Diege · 20/06/2009 21:54

Thanks ladies! I am certainly enjoying the baby bit, esp as it'll be my last. Had forgotten the baby smell and the little breathy faces they make...
Had quite a traumatic labour resulting in emergency c-section under general as local didn't 'take'. An 'obstructed labour' so they say, with head not desending despite pushing for 2.5 hours, so have been struggling a bit to come to terms with it all these past few days, and will be requesting a meeting to go through notes with head of midwifery so that I can fill in some 'gaps'. But that apart am really enjoying my 'precious 4th born' - really doesn't seem that much more work than 3 at moment, though ask me about that one again come the summer hols
Will continue trying to keep up with the odd post if that's ok, and truly wish everyone success and happiness. Not long for BABYBLUE now

babyblue3 · 21/06/2009 00:57

Congrats Diege!!! You have crossed my thoughts many a time recently! So happy your lil man made it here in one piece and all is well with you. Jacob is a lovely name! How are your girls adjusting? Please keep us posted, even though I'm sure your will be on the parenting sites now. I have 5 weeks to go, and can't wait! I feel HUGE and achy and can't wait to meet my lil one. Trying to enjoy these last few weeks of pregnancy, since this will most definitely be the last time! Im gettin too old for this!! LOL. Congrats again and all the best!

Kat - sorry to hear of your issues. My sister had the same thing, and must now go for yearly smears. She also tested pos for HPV. She said that the recovery was not too bad... just AF-like crampiness. She also had no issues getting pg afterwards. Her doc did recommend not to use birth control pills anymore, as they have a tendency to make the cells grow faster. Ask your doc about it (not that it will be an issue if TTC!!!).

How is everyone else???

Its been raining here all day, so my sinuses are stuffy and I am really nauseous. Not nice, since I made my DH an early Fathers Day lobster dinner! Mmmmm!!! Tomorrow we will be out all day visiting both our Dad's. Even made Tiramisu for the occassion.

Diege · 21/06/2009 15:19

Hi BABY! I remember that 5 weeks to go stage very well! I think up to that point you can actually almost suspend the pregnancy in your mind and enjoy feeling pregnant etc, but come 35 weeks it feels (to me anyway) that you just want things to fast forward. By 38 weeks I was certainly getting no pleasure at all from hoisting myself around, so know exactly how you feel! Goodness knows how I would have felt if I'd have got beyond 38 plus 6!

Katnkittens · 21/06/2009 17:57

CD1 today... knew I wasn't gonna get a BFP so pleased the witch arrived on time as I have the colcoscopy on Thursday and should be almost over by then.

Nemoandthefishes · 21/06/2009 19:05

hello all
oldie oldie[started on thread with diege oh 9mths or so ago..lol]
well like diege I had no.4 last sat [13th] gorgeous little girl called charlotte isabel and weighing 7lb 14. strangely enough diege and I had the same due date...lol

Diege · 21/06/2009 20:44

Wow NEMO many congratulations!!! What are the chances of us both having same due dates and going 8 days early ? How are you getting on? How was the birth?
KAT, that's good news on af getting going now before colp. I got pregnant the month after my biopsy with dd2, so fingers crossed you'll be the same! (if that's what you want of course)

rainbowdays · 21/06/2009 20:51

Nemo - - so happy for you, congrats on the birth of Charlotte (again a great name). I am so pleased for you. And as Diege said - how was the birth and how is it being a family with 4 children?

So our first two carrots now have babies, more yet come. And more carrots to be made.

So now that our first carrots have the same due dates and birthdates for Charlotte and Jacob, can we start matchmaking them for the same wedding date!!!!!

HeinzSight · 21/06/2009 20:57

hi everyone

CONGRATS Diege and Nemo!!!!!!

Kat sorry to hear about your smear, scary, but keep positive xx

Rainbow, sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I hope all your levels drop quickly.

Oh my goodness, I'm not sure where to begin! I'm 32 weeks now (ALREADY!) and bricking it! I was in agony up until a month ago with my hip but an amazing Osteopath sorted me out. I had my in-laws staying this weekend but my FIL stormed out and went home (3 hr drive) at 6:45 am yesterday morning because DH went downstairs and complained to him that he'd woken us up at 5:55 AM . He left MIL still asleep none the wiser. She had to catch the train this morning to get home. I could write loads about him, he's always managed to be incredibly insensitve and upset me when I've just had a baby, so this time I've put my foot down and said he's not allowed to come and stay when the baby arrives.
