Guys we need a new group! Wouldn't let me post in old one.

MrsDis I recognise him but can't for the life of me think of his name.

Someone spill!

Congrats Nemo!! Charlotte is a beautiful name! Hopefully your birth story is a positive one... can't wait to hear all about it! Are you of the same mind as Diege, in that 4 doesn't seem much more than 3?? Would love to know as I get closer and closer!! LOL.. Although I know I won't be as lucky and go early (all the others were late)!

Kat - glad AF is on time and you can get everything else sorted.

Heinz - How have you been??I'm 35 weeks and I have had just about enough! I feel like I am steering around the Queen Mary! My hips aren't too bad... but some days they just don't like holding up all this weight! I think my back bothers me more now.

Hope everyone had a fab weekend. This is the last week of school for my DCs.... then the real fun begins

HeinzSight · 22/06/2009 13:20

babyblue, I LOVE LOVE LOVE your bump art photos on fb. My fave has to be the pink hand prints, sooooooooo cute.

Our kids Summer hols is 7 weeks LONG this yr!! Crazy, last yr was only 5 and a half weeks. Give me strength give me strength give me strength!!

Nemoandthefishes · 22/06/2009 14:50

thanks for congrates all
like diege says having 4 is not that different as yet. DD3 is a mellow little thing which helps a lot!!
Birth was a bit of a nightmare and longest/most painful out of the lot but she is here safe and sound and thats all that matters.

babyblue3 · 22/06/2009 17:33

Heinz - thanks! We have done the bump art with all but the first, and its always a lot of fun. Sofia was covered from head to toe in pink paint... as was I, the porch, the patio furniture... LOL. I am very lucky in terms of the stretch mark thing. I get them, but they aren't red, so you don't really see them. And I only seem to get one or two. This time, I have only noticed the ones I got with Sofia (and she was the WORST!). Hopefully it stays that way

Nemo - agree that as long as baby is safe, we can overlook the labour! But... its not comforting to know that this was your worst one! LOL... I keep holding on to the idea that it gets easier each time! DD2 was easiest for me... hopefully this lil man won't make up for it and be a terror!

Katnkittens · 22/06/2009 18:20

All these babies!!! And baby talk, making me seriously broody!!

A bit worrying to hear about these 4th baby labours being bad... mine have got easier each time, and quicker with DD2 being born about 10 mins after arriving at the hospital.

Nemoandthefishes · 22/06/2009 18:39

well thing is all my labours got worse so was under no illusions just not good when MW expect you to pop them out like its nothing..lol
Am sure your labour will be blissful and serene..I am just quite relieved that we had decided it would be 4 and no more

babyblue3 · 23/06/2009 14:59

I'm with you Kat... my births have gotten better (though not necessarily shorter). This will definitely be my last though, good or bad. I just hope my last memory of giving birth will be a positive one! I have my OB appointment on Thurs, and am excited since I will be seeing my primary doc for the first time in over 6 weeks! Hopefully she will take more time with me than the others have.

Scorps · 25/06/2009 14:10

Hello everyone

14 weeks tomorrow now yay

My labours have got a lot easier but more more 'fierce' each time, iyswim? I think i am going to have this one in tesco or some such as last time i rang DH at 5 to come home and she was born at 720.

This pregnancy i am getting nude photos done at about 30 weeks, black and white ones, i may wear a ribboned thong or something. DH is coming too and we are doing couple poses too.

This is my actual last baby, you know. Have to come to realise this is true, DH will not be swayed at all ever after this one i don't think. I keep trying to treasure every small milestone - a + hpt, the scans, the heartbeat. Though i do have to say 4 is a good 'lot' for anyone and DH has kept his word of letting me have 'lots' of children

I am kind of relishing the fact though of moving on in life to the next stage, our family getting older iyswim, no reverse to babyhood possible again, etc. am and .

20 week scan is oddly actually bang on 20 weeks and we will be discovering gender....i think boy but DH wants a girl. If it is a girl i dont know what on earth im supposed to call it

Hope you're all ok, Rainbow, Kat? Both crappy for you lately.

babyblue3 · 25/06/2009 20:12

Scorps - I also did a semi-nude photo session with my DD2. A girlfriend from high school came to my home and did the pics. She even did some family and couples poses. They turned out nice and very tasteful. This time, I think I am gonna try my own hand at taking some of my pics. I like black and whites too... I guess we will see how much Photography I have in my genes!! (My dad is a professional photographer). I am also trying to cram everything 'tummy' related into this pregnancy, since it will be my last time as well. 4 is definitely more than DH and I ever dreamed of, so there is no chance at convincing either one of us for #5!

I had my weekly OB visit today and all is well with my lil man. I put on 3lbs in 2 weeks, which doesn't make me happy... but I know some is water weight. Its been like 35 degrees here with the humidity, so my hands and feet have begun to swell. Hopefully it won't get too much worse. At least I am home, and don't have to worry about cramming my fat feet into shoes and walking around at work all day! LOL

So how is everyone else??

Katnkittens · 26/06/2009 01:04

Hellooo

Had my colcoscopy today, they took a biopsy which felt like a slightly more intrusive smear. They put a chemical on the cervix which shows up the abnormal area and there was only a very small area so sounding good I have to wait 4/5 weeks for results.

I'm on CD 4 today and they did say no sex for 2 weeks but I think I'll have a go on CD14 (should be ok) to at least give me a chance this month....

Diege · 26/06/2009 16:13

Hi Kat . That sounds really positive about the small area that showed up; that's what they like to see so says my consultant if that makes sense! Try to relax now, and good luck with the ttc!
SCORPIO! Wow, your pregnancy is going at full speed (as other people's always seem to do). I know exactly what you (and BABYBLUE) mean about relishing every minute of our final pregnancies (sniff), but strangely enough now I've had the baby I've forgotten what being pregnant feels like even though I swore to myself that I'd remember every kick etc ; not quite enough reason for no.5 though ... Really glad I took lots of bump piccies!
I'm sure no.4 labours will be good for all. I think mine was so horrendous because of the position baby was in (maybe combined with size too), and just one of those things rather than a 'no.4' issue. An glad it happended with my 4th and not 1st though!

HeinzSight · 26/06/2009 20:40

Kat, that's really good news that it's sounding good, am so happy for you

Katnkittens · 28/06/2009 23:27

Hiya, been quiet this weekend, hope everyone has been enjoying themselves

I just bought a clearblue fertility monitor from ebay, figured it's worth a try and I can always resell it when I get pregnant Has anyone used one before?

Just booked up a lovely hotel for our 5 year anniversary next month, being a ttc fanatic I happened to notice it falls exactly in the middle of my cycle (if I dont get preg this month) so that's handy lol.

DH seems really keen at the minute, he even mentioned to his Mum that we were thinking about it, before now it was always me talking about it so I'm really pleased.

xx

mrsdisorganised · 29/06/2009 13:13

Kat, thats good that your DH is talking about it, mine always ignored it make the most of his willingness!!
It's our 9th wedding anniversary tomorrow, (14 years together, scary) and DH is away for the next 2 weeks so I'll have to think of a nice night out/away too for when he comes home.....

Dd1 and I have a weird tummybug atm which is a pain and I haven't eaten much since wednesday, so not feeling our best hopefully it will go in time for school breaking up on thursday!

Hope everyone is enjoying the sun

babyblue3 · 02/07/2009 16:02

How is everyone doing?? Been really quiet here lately! Heard on the news you ladies are going through a heat wave over there. Its been raining here all week (which makes my head ache).

We had our bank holiday yesterday. Our street has a huge street party which is a lot of fun for the DCs (face painting, bouncy castle, treats and games and fireworks). For the adults, a time to socialize with your neighbours. Wanted a nice glass of wine sooo bad! LOL. 3 weeks to go before I can indulge!

Katnkittens · 04/07/2009 12:42

Hiya gang,

The weather is lovely here, had storms yesterday but back to beautiful again today which is good as I'm going to a friend's 4th July BBQ (her hubby is American). Am on a diet and I've been really good and lost 5lbs this week yey! Am still about 2 stone from my target weight but it's a good start!

I was always really skinny until I had DD2 and the weight just didn't come off and I gradually got a bit bigger, I'm 6 foot tall so don't really look very overweight but I know I am and am determined to lose it although I'll probably get pregnant and muck it up (hopefully )

CD14 for me, I broke the rules and BD yesterday and the day before, it's been 9 days since the biopsy and everything seems ok, I just can't bear to have a wasted month!

xxxx

babyblue3 · 06/07/2009 21:11

Good luck with the diet Kat... although that baby will most surely come along before you hit your target weight. I am gonna go on a serious diet when I am done with this pregnancy. I started off 2 stone heavier than I should be (left over fat from DD2). It was soooo hard to lose the weight! This time I am determined! My DH and DS1 and I are planning on running a half marathon in May 2010, so my goal is to lose the weight by then. Wish me luck

So how is everyone else?? I started having really strong and frequent BH contractions this weekend. They weren't regular, but it gets me hoping that things will start soon. I am past the 37week mark, so I am now full term. Feeling sooo heavy and BIG. Just want this baby OUT!!!!

Katnkittens · 06/07/2009 21:17

Ooooh waiting in anticipation of a birth announcement

My friend had a baby girl last week 5 weeks early due to pre eclampsia, she's so gorgeous and tiny, was only just over 4lb born both doing well though.. mega broodyness!!

My friend who got pregnant despite all the odds is about 9 weeks now and has seen a heartbeat She wants me to be at the birth which is very exciting! Her DH is a bit rubbish at stuff like that so she's asked me to be there as someone experienced. I've never been at a birth that wasn't mine. Hopefully by the time she gives birth I'll be pregnant too

CD16 today, boob twinges

Meanbeansmum · 06/07/2009 22:20

Hi all, I'm new and must also be metally unhinged. . We are ttc number 4, we have 2 boys and a girl.

More the merrier in my house. [grin. I look forward to getting to know you all.

I'm still breastfeeding number 3 (although not much) but we are throwing caution to the wind and seeing if we get lucky with a fourth .xxxxxxxxxxxxx

rainbowdays · 07/07/2009 08:38

Meanbeansmum - hi and welcome to the mad crowd here. There were a few of us still b/f-ing when we started ttc. I finally stopped a couple of months ago, and miss it already.

Kat - you naughty girl you, bd-ing before time , we all would have done the same , lets hope those boob twinges mean good news coming your way.

I am on cd7.

A big wave to all the new no.4 mummies hope those babes are being good for you. And for babyblue, hope that you pop soon!

Scorps · 07/07/2009 11:22

Hi means good luck to you!

Hi everyone else, hope you're all well, i cannot belieive we are due another baby here!! Go babyblue

I'm coming up 16 weeks now, waiting for a movement!

babyblue3 · 07/07/2009 14:52

Welcome to the madness Meanbean How old are your DCs??

Wow Kat... never been to another birth before either. Should be quite the experience! Keeping fingers crossed that this is your month!

Scorps - 16 weeks already! I didn't feel my little guy before 18 weeks because of the whole anterior placenta thing. He was actually quite gentle throughout. Now he's a menace and loves jumping on my bladder and grinding against my cervix

So last night was not fun. Spent a few good hours having pretty painful contractions. They were only about 13 minutes apart and stayed that way. Then they stopped around 2am. DH was starting to get nervous! LOL. I am gonna make sure that my bags are fully ready to go, and that the DCs bags are also packed today... just in case. I am hoping that the full moon tonight has some pull!!! (wouldn't 07-08-09 be a cool DOB???).

Hope everyone, including the new mommies, are doing well!

Katnkittens · 07/07/2009 16:22

Aww babyblue, feel for you, the last few weeks are a whole 'is it isn't it' waiting game. So stressful! I LOVE that DOB! Sending you contraction vibes haha.

Meanbean welcome to the club Nice to have another TTC'er to keep me and rainbow company since you lot all went and got yourselves pregnant

Do any of you get annoyed with people reactions to you TTC (or being pregnant with) no 4? I was at the hospital today (not for anything exciting) and mentioned to the consultant we were TTC and he was like 'why on earth would you want another one?' Then the nurse who took my bloods said the same thing. Why do people think having kids is such a chore that you have to have your standard one or two and you've 'done your duty'?

To me having kids is so amazing and fun that I could just keep going

Maybe we are weird

rainbowdays · 07/07/2009 22:18

No we are not mad - just plain crazy!!!! I know what you mean Kat, but I think people know how crazy dh and I are so they will not be too surprised, just resigned to putting up with our continued craziness. I personally am loving dc3 so so so much that it actually feels easy today to be a mum of 3, so hoping no.4 if it ever happens will be as easy for us.

Any more symptoms kat?

Beansn - how old are your other children?

Meanbeansmum · 08/07/2009 19:05

Hi girls, thankyou for such a lovely warm welcome. I wasn't sure how welcome I'd be on a ttc forum already having 3 children.

I have a 7 year old son, who is a sensitive little horror.

Ds 2 is a bold confident 4 year old and he's starting school fulltime in september

DD is 17 months and is a determined little miss!

I've been married 7 years this month and I'm a qualified unemplyed physics teacher (suits me lol).

I'm crazy so I'm guessing I'll fit in here, I might ahve to settle in and youy'll see I'm loopy (but in a nice way lol).

Oh and I'm welsh and we're all mad lol! ;)

AF is being cruel girls...cd30, pains down below, some eggwhite but the heavens won't open...she's being cruel making me think I have a glimmer of hope and no doubt she'll descend on me tomorrow!

Kat anymore symptoms?
