TTC August 2026

So I'm pretty much put this month, giving up all hope its happening this month. I know August is still a week away but thought I'd start a thread for the August TTCers.
How's everyone doing?

I've got AF coming today or tomorrow, we've been trying a long time but having started treatment for PCOS, I'm feeling hopeful again. I will be joining you with a TTC attempt in August...fingers crossed 🤞🏼

I hope so! They said it could take three months to take effect and I'm on month 2 but you never know.

How long have you been trying?

That would be nice if it happened for you this cycle.
This is the first month trying. Came off the pill 3 weeks ago not had a bleed yet. Had a few positive ovulation tests, did have a faint positive on a pregnancy test last week which is now negative so not sure what's going on there.
Tried awhile for my eldest so not expecting it to happen quickly

AF just finished so let's go again! 3rd cycle for me (1st cycle wasn't as thought out mind you) good luck all xx

Joining from the July thread! Been TTC baby no3 for 8 months now. I have PCOS so long cycles, hoping for ovulation around CD34 but after last cycle was 83 days not getting my hopes up. Just hope it happens some time in August!

Welcome. Fingers this is your cycle, it must be so frustrating having long cycles. Before I had my kids my cycles were all over the place. Came off the pill beginning of the month still no af but no positive test either

Still waiting for my lh strips to go positive, following a loss cycles are wonky and who knows how long it’ll be 🤷‍♀️. Fingers crossed it’ll be towards the beginning of August!

Joining from the July thread, on cycle 3 and attempting sperm meets egg method this time

Welcome. Ive not heard of that method before. What dose that entail?

I learnt it from the July thread. From day 8 have sex every other day then when you get a positive OPK do two days in a row, miss one day then do again

Ohhh, i remember seeing something on there about doing that, didnt catch the method name though

Sorry to hear that you still haven’t had your period! I remember seeing your vfl on the pregnancy test, sorry that it hasn’t turned into a strong line. Are you still Lh testing?

Thank you, I am yea, had a positive one about a week or 2 ago, I had a positive one a few days after coming off the pill than another one about a week later. So if I ovulated with the 2nd one then I'm due on next week. Pregnancy tests are now negative so thinking the vfl was a false positive

Joining as I hope cycle to come back in August after early miscarriage this month. May struggle to track ovulation so will DTD every other day until I can track. I’ve been trying since January for first at 39.

Hello ladies joining in from July thread AF arrived I’m a mum of one DD who is 2yrs I’m 36yrs old and im now onto cycle 5 trying for baby number 2. Baby dust for us all this month.

obviously I’m gutted AF arrived but reading all ur messages really does make you feel less alone ❤️❤️
