So I'm pretty much put this month, giving up all hope its happening this month. I know August is still a week away but thought I'd start a thread for the August TTCers.
How's everyone doing?

I think CM is a good indication. Cause the Lh can spike so suddenly (I was 0.13 two days ago, 0.34 yesterday, and then 0.95 today!). But have had wet/ EWCM for 6 days now. Hope your peak arrives soon too!

Mine would be 3.5yrs, we are on cycle 5, part of me regrets not trying last year but we just were not ready, but I bet if we did I would have fallen pregnant lol!

Im now on cycle day 7 of cycle 5 the fun begins tomorrow 😂😂😂

Thats a pretty good age gap. Mines going to be huge. I'm practically starting all over again lol

@Springcloud26 I did a test this morning (10dpo) and there was really nothing obvious there. The more I stare at them the more I start to think is there a faint line but honestly I think I just have line eyes. My fitbit temp variation has shot up this morning though whereas normally it's trending down at this stage. Will try again tomorrow, I use sensitive tests so I feel like that will give me more of an answer.

@ThereWereNoUsernamesLeft Good plan, it still could be early at 10 DPO if implantation was later! I have everything crossed for you!

I'm sure I read that it doesn't have to be over 1 - the apps are not perfect at really attributing a number as long as it looks as dark as or darker than the test line.
For a little reassurance with my first my peak was 0.84 when I got pregnant and that was with testing three times a day. I have a really quick and short peak every month so now try and just go by the line rather than the specific number. Just all to say don't count it out just yet 😊

lh strip testing at 0.8 today! Usually it peaks the day after for me but v relieved it has gone up so hogh, was worried it would be ages longer after my loss. Will have to track bbt from tomorrow to see if I actually ovulate.

Thank you for the hope! I had really bad ovulation like pain last night so I’m hoping it happened at 5am! Will see if my EWCM dries up or not. Last cycle it didn't after the 0.93 which was a pretty good sign it hadn’t worked though of course I was stupidly hopeful anyway.

I’m starting to get increase in CM past couple of days but still testing positive for hcg after my loss so not sure I will ovulate any time soon!

Just done an ovulation test, it was so light the camera barely picked it up. Premom app says i had a peek around cycle day 15. Now cycle day 31 according to the app. Its hard to track as not had a period since coming off the pill. I know it can take awhile for the body to sort it self out after contraception

I would count this as positive personally. The lines look as dark as each other on this photo anyway.

Hi ladies, didn’t realise there was an August thread already. So I’m a bit late to the party!

I’m CD5 today. Had my bloods done a couple of days ago and everything was normal (although for follicular phase my fsh was slightly raised and my oestrogen was slightly low but the GP has classed them as normal). So no obvious answer so far as to why we’re not falling. Hubby has his appointment mid August, he’ll be having a SA. 🤞

I’ll test again because I have no patience and I have a lot of strips, but I know it’ll have dropped a bit and I’ll need to wait until tomorrow to see anything darker.

Sorry to hear you're having difficulty, hopefully your parents results will give you some answers

I'm on day 26 of my typically 27 day cycle and I suddenly feel so down. I'm afraid it may be because my AF is coming after all. I daren't even do a test, I have seen so many negatives over the last 11 cycles I can't do it anymore. I feel very resigned and down right now. I would normally have a glimmer of hope that it might be the month but I'm just really tearful this month. It's been such a long time .I just wish I could forget all about TTC for a while but I know it wouldn't be possible.

Tried for 2 years for my eldest, every month was just pure heart break. You're right its not as easy as a case of just not trying when in your heart you just want it to happen

That is such a long time. Did you have any tests, if you don't mind me asking? Did you manage to conceive naturally after 2 years?

I had blood tests and scans which showed cysts on my ovaries blood test was normal. And kids dad had a low sperm count. We did conceive naturally in the end. We had a little help from conceive plus lube

Thanks for the hope and positive stories @Peedthebed and @Silverglass 😊 I really hope this is ovulation too. Just so nervous after getting almost as dark a line last month and it not happening! Will keep an eye of CM and update!
