How's everyone doing?

I had blood tests and scans which showed cysts on my ovaries blood test was normal. And kids dad had a low sperm count. We did conceive naturally in the end. We had a little help from conceive plus lube

Thanks for sharing..I know that for some people it can take longer, but I think the hardest thing is the uncertainty before you get there. I've never been pregnant before so after all this time part of me thinks it just might never happen. My partner's semen analysis was really good so if there is an issue it's probably with me. I do have blood tests booked already, and I might have to get a hycosy if nothing happens in the next few months.

Thats ok. Hopefully your blood test results give you some answers. I definitely recommend concieve plus lube if you've not tried it already. I know its hard, its distressing get negative after negative. Month after month. I really hope it happens for you soon

Regret testing again, back down to 0.2! Hopefully it goes up again tomorrow otherwise I’ll be wondering if I ovulated or not as well. TBH don’t think mine was anywhere near dark enough to be a success.

Springcloud26 · 31/07/2026 17:23

@Silverglass oh exciting! Will you test again tonight or tomorrow?

@BigGirlPants01 good luck for the TWW! Do you have any plans to take your mind off the waiting?

I’m starting to get increase in CM past couple of days but still testing positive for hcg after my loss so not sure I will ovulate any time soon!

Firstly I'll nap... 6 times in 1 week is not our norm 😆

No huge plans but we are staying with family next weekend so won't even be able to do a sneaky early test which isn't a bad thing!

How are you getting on?

Sorry to hear you're having difficulty, hopefully your parents results will give you some answers

Thank you, it could be all fine, likely my age! We fell so quickly last year so it’s just been a bit confusing that it’s been 8 months with no hint of a line and we’ve just reached 1 year ttc with no successful pregnancy to show for our efforts. Fingers crossed this is our month!

Its possible. Ive just turned 38 and having difficulty is one thing I'm worried about. Ive only been off the pill a month this time round so dont know what my cycles are doing. Not even had a withdrawal bleed yet

Hi everyone, hope yer doing well. Joining from the July thread. Cycle #3 trying for #3, and about to start the dreaded TWW.

Last month I had a alse positive/indent line and despite my best efforts and assuming it would take longer, I was very disappointed.

First month on clomid this month so wonder if that had any bearing, we'll see in 10-15 days 😂

Welcome. Sorry to hear about your false positive. I had one this month as well. Was pretty gutted

I’m feeling fairly hopeful at the moment, I did worry today that maybe I’m closer to ovulation than I thought with increased CM and libido has returned so I’m going to make sure we cover the next few days just in case!

Hello ladies, I’m joining this thread ☺️ TTC baby #2 - going into cycle 10, with a chemical on cycle 6. Really needing some moral support if I’m honest, finding TTC really hard now as the months go on. Trying to remind myself it can be normal for it to take this long, but it doesn’t feel like that when you’re in the thick of it! Sending some baby dust to all 🫶🏻

@ThereWereNoUsernamesLeft Good plan, it still could be early at 10 DPO if implantation was later! I have everything crossed for you!

I'm definitely out this cycle, I tested this morning 11dpo and its blank, I use sensitive tests too. Heart rate up again but temp dropped. AF due mon/tues so prepping for cycle 11. Had our doctors appt yesterday and have all the test ordered. I'm not even that bothered about negative tests anymore, we have a few holidays coming up so probably goes in my favour if we're not pregnant yet. After 8 consecutive cycles of negative tests I have 0 expecations so I'm not even disappointed anymore when they're negative, it's just expected haha. They did us a referral to a fertility clinic yesterday, apparently that takes about 5 months so should hear something in January. What is crazy though is that I planned a 2026 baby and now it's looking like a 2028 baby! Never thought things would take that long but that's life. At least we have more time to save money up for maternity 🙃

I'm in the exact same boat as you, fell on very quickly, ended in a loss and then 8 consecutive months of negatives. Idk about you but I found the first few months after the loss so hard as I had loads of expecation that it would happen super quickly after as everyone says it does but literally nothing happened. I can't offer much advice but to keep hanging in there, as crap as it is and look after yourself. Sending hugs. 🤗💞

Sorry to hear your finding it difficult, these threads are such a lovely supportive place and it's so nice having people to talk to that are going through the same things. I haven't been open with anyone friends and family wise about how long it's taking because I can't bare the nosy questions at what is already a sensitive time. These threads have actually helped my mental health so much so hopefully you will find it helpful here too. Keep hanging in there, we will get there💕
P.s. I don't know if you've had any testing done but the beginning of cycle 10 (last month) was when I contacted my GP about fertility testing. Had to wait a month for an appointment. She then ordered tests and did the fertility referral which takes 5 months to come through, so if I were you I'd maybe book it in now. You probably won't need it but at least it speeds things up for you just in case ❤

Think I'm out, getting period like cramps, pregnancy tests are negative. No clue what cycle day I'm on as came off the pill 4 weeks ago. So think I'm getting my first period in 4 years 😔

Sorry to hear this. Try not to be disheartened as it can take a bit of time for your body to regulate itself after coming off the pill. I'm going on to cycle 11 and if I could give myself some advice going back it would be not to put so much pressure on myself. I know it's hard when it's everything you want but try not to be too hard on yourself. Sending hugs 🤗

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 01/08/2026 11:58

@inkgirl Sorry to hear your tests are still negative. Hope your period arrives soon so you can have a new start! And that your new cycle is more normal now your hormone have settled a bit ❤️

Welcome @MochaLove I’m sorry you are struggling; everyone in this thread is really supportive - I find it easier to share things that I wouldn’t want to tell other people and feel a bit less alone on the TTC journey x

Joining from the July thread. 8dpo and tested this morning and was negative. I had a faint positive when I was pregnant with my son at 8dpo but know its still very early. Also trying to not symptom spot

HappyBlueDonkey · 01/08/2026 14:26

Joining from the July thread. I’m 6/7DPO but not feeling hopeful. I just returned to work after mat leave so I was exhausted, usually we DTD every day when TTC but we only managed every other day in the run up, the day before ovulation and day of so know my chances are even lower
