Hi guys
Here is the lovely new thread. Maybe we might get some newbies as well?!?!?

Hi CE - cycle was 40 days in the end - grrrr.

Enjoy your lazy day - holiday soon, how exciting

bluestarlavender · 20/07/2008 11:02

DD - sorry, but you're right to think a whole fresh cycle!! Roll on the BDing-fest!!

Okay, so I finally succumbed to the PG tests sitting in my drawer. I wasn't going to bother, as so convinced I would get a BFN, but my friends who are staying with us, announced this morning that they are expecting their second in February 09! So I got all excited thinking if I was PG then we could have gone through the experience together...result - BFN - surprise surprise.

Now just want AF to hurry up and arrive, so we can get on with cycle 2!! And as sad as it sounds, I am looking forward to playing with the OV sticks and pre-seed. I think I need a proper thermometer though...I'm using a digital one, but it's giving me very bizarre readings that are going higher and higher each day...I'll order one tomorrow!

Good luck to everyone else !

BSL x

BSL - grr sorry about the BFN. Still early though right!

I am watching a programme in discovery channel about a woman having triplets! wow!

OP posts:
detoxdiva · 20/07/2008 11:13

BSL - sorry to hear about your bfn too. Grrrrr.

Triplets - wow. The woman who had those identical quad girls lives not too far from here. I remember seeing her programme on the tv an thinking wow!!

bluestarlavender · 20/07/2008 11:50

Hi guys,

I think if I was PG...an early response test should have picked it up by today. I am very confused about the cramps though. They came back with a vengeance yesterday and are still hurting. Am seriously thinking of going to see the doctor, as it's not normal for me.

I'm not sure about having triplets, but I wouldn't mind twins. They run in my family...so you never know. But I realise it would be huge amount of work and expense...double buggies are never cheap, or small for that matter.

At least now I don't feel at all guilty about the glasses of wine I drank this weekend and I'm going to have a few more today at our BBQ!!

Another BFN here. I gave in this morning too. I was getting really anxious, so thought it would put an end to that!

BSL I'm with you on the wine!

DD roll on the month of love BD fest

My friend just had a home birth and it went really well. When I was pg midwives really encouraged me to think about it. I think it depends on what area you're in whether they try to put you off or not, but always worth thinking about. I've read so many positive accounts of it.

Good luck everyone else who's still waiting. x

DawnAS · 20/07/2008 15:47

Hey All,

Sorry about the BFNs BSL, DD and BB.

Well I'm still clinging on to my hopes... The cramps have eased slightly but getting a lot of lower back pain today. Noticed it yesterday when I went shopping with DH and had to sit down.

Usually get Brown CM today and for a couple of days leading up to AF, but nothing yet. Willing it not to come. I ordered some PG tests off of Ebay on Friday and decided that the day after they arrive, I will do a test. They didn't arrive yesterday so if they arrive tomorrow, it will be Tuesday when I do the test, which is the day before AF is due. I'll probably have seen some sort of sign by then anyway.... or hopefully not!!

Anyway, roast beef for dinner tonight so I'd better get cooking!!

xxx

PS: Hope everyone else is well today!!

DawnAS · 20/07/2008 15:48

Sorry DasiyJ, about your BFN too!! Grrrrr, the old witch!!

xx

HumphreysCorner · 20/07/2008 20:08

Evening all

Oh detox-sorry the witch arrived chez vous.

bluestar-sorry about your BFN.

Have had not internet connection all day-gggrrhhh then we went to DD1's dance concert which was lovely. The witch has flown into my house but is having trouble parking her broomstick so can't quite count CD1 as not in full flow yet. I just want to start a fresh new chart.

Hello to everyone else, feel shattered after all the weekends activities and DD2 is sooooo tired. She will no doubt need a good nap tomorrow which will give me some quality MN time.

Hello all,
back from 12 week scan - everything is fine - baby was waving!! . Risk of downs is lower than should be for a woman my age so also good about that too. Feels strange though as we have already started telling people. Now feels official!!!

Any news from you belgian and bluestar?

bluestarlavender · 21/07/2008 12:09

Congrats, Bellie, on the scan...that's all good news!!

No news from me...obviously had the BFN yesterday though, so I'm just waiting for AF to arrive and then DH won't know what's hit him!

I am still getting these weird cramps though and have been for over a week now. I am a bit concerned cos if they aren't implantation cramps...what are they? I had my IUD taken out at the end of last month, so I'm a bit worried something might be wrong. Anyone else had this?? My (.)(.) are also hurting like hell, so that's another reason for wanting AF to come quick.

BB - fingers crossed for you!!

BSL x

HumphreysCorner · 21/07/2008 12:13

Bellie-am so pleased the scan went well and that is good about the risk factor.

bluestar-don't worry. I have had terrible cramps, sore boobs and was/still am nauseous but AF here so it is pretty normal pre AF symptoms. AF might not come you know.

belgian-where are you?

HC
x

WelliesAndPyjamas · 21/07/2008 12:38

bluestar - had my iud removed in february and iirc I had some quite painful and weird periods and discomfort before periods too. It all sorted itself out within a couple of months though, apart from an extra long cycle in May. Saying that though, it doesn't mean that you couldn't be having implantation and general stretching pains...

belgian! belgian! belgian! belgian! come on, girls, let's chant her name, see if we can persuade her to test!

Lovely about the scan, bellie. Might let myself start thinking about that next step soon.
