Hi Ally,

Yes, am on 2WW. I was getting symptoms up til yesterday (real or imaginary...who knows)...mainly cramps since Sunday and then my boobs swelled up and were really sore. But I've woken up today and my boobs are deflating (lovely image...) and although I had a few cramps this morning, they've completely gone now.

I know this sounds really strange, but I just don't feel PG. I know I really really wanted to be, but deep down I really don't think I am.

I don't know, obviously I have to wait til next week anyhow for AF...but I'd be really shocked if it doesn't come. Anyhow, I've decided I want way more symptoms than this!!! Like the weird smelling thing, I'm happy to pass on the MS, but I do wanna send DH out in search of odd food cravings too!

BSL x

ChocolateEclair · 18/07/2008 16:21

Hi girls

sorry about the latest round of temp dips and BFN's. Unless I am mistaken, no AF's have actually arrived yet have they? Keep positive!

Body shop party went really well thanks for your good vibes! I was so nervous that noone would come and in the end there were 18 guests plus me and the girl doing it! I have never seen my house so full! It was great fun though and people spent so much money that I got £60 free stuff and £40 worth for half price! How cool! I ordered some cocnut body shimmer butter and blusher, bronzing brush thingy that you pump, face cream and some peppermint foot treats! It was a fab evening but didn't get to bed til 11.30 and woke up at 5.30 so am knackered today! I have got another staff retirement do tonight but I am going to drive so don't have to have another night on the booze!

Hope everyone is holding up on the 2ww
(oh, and sorry about the car MJIM)

btw - HC should def feed her DH the macaroni!
CE xx

oh BB massive hugs to you xxxxxxxxxxxx We know how you are feeling - it's rubbish isn't it? It will happen for you, honestly it will. Have a big rant if it helps (or a large glass of wine?)

OP posts:
bluestarlavender · 18/07/2008 16:54

BB - I'm so sorry, there's still hope though! You sound really down and we're all here to listen whenever you need to vent!!!

Sending lots of hugs! I agree with CE! Have a nice glass of wine and chill out, it's the weekend.

Next month there's going to be loads of us with BFPs I can feel it!!

MJIM - I hope it's nothing serious!! Handy that your DH has a mechanic friend though, at least you know you won't get ripped off at a garage.

HumphreysCorner · 18/07/2008 18:02

Just a quickie before having the chips. My dad made me buy DH some and as dad was paying I couldn't avoid getting him some. Anyway, beligianbun-am so pleased you have posted. Saw you on the other thread and made me a tad what you said about your DH saying 'we just need to have more sex' as that is exactly what my DH is saying. Chin up my lovely. {{hugs}}

Oh, and my monthly migraine has appeared this afternoon and I don't get them when PG so can't be PG. Did a sneaky test earlier and BFN so am not testing anymore this month.

Hi all - have had a proper chance to read all the posts now!

HC - sorry to hear about your bfn. Chin up and let's concentrate on next month. There seems to be a few af's due so I think we're going to have a very positive month next

BB - sorry to hear you're feeling so . Those bfn's are just soul destroying aren't they?

Flirty, Dawn, Daisy & BSL - still keeping my fingers crossed for you all - we're due some more good news soon!!

CE - you are quite right - no af's is a good sign....there is still hope . Great news about the party - result!

Hi to everyone else I have missed!

Well, no surprises but still no news here! This is getting a bit daft now - it is cd40 tomorrow and I don't even have any of that 'pre-af' cm that tells me it's on it's way! I just feel completely in limbo - and all your mad symptom spotting is rubbing off. Today I found myself thinking how unusual it is for me to have (tmi alert) loose stools just before af - normally I get a bit constipated . According to ff it is now 14 days since it thinks I ov'd - agghhhhh. Think this might just send me insane [crazy emoticon]!!

HumphreysCorner · 18/07/2008 21:55

detox-sorry about you BFN's too. It is so soul destroying and the novelty of temping and plotting and testing is starting to wear off. At least I am only 11 DPO but as I OV'd later it will make my luteal phase shorter as AF doesn't arrive 14 days after OV.

Right ladies, off to bed as a busy day tomorrow for DD1's 5th Birthday.

Love to all

HC

Heartmum2Jamie · 19/07/2008 12:23

Happy 5th birthday to HC's DD1!!

I am just about to email you HC. Would have done it last night but OMG, the heartburn kicked in yesterday afternoon.

Big hugs to BB.

Detox, I hope you get some definate, concrete answers soon.

I am really annoyed at the weather today. We picked up our new tent and want to have a go putting it up, plus as an ex display, it was still slightly damp when they packed it up, so it needs to be dried out. No chance of that today. Grrrr!

LOL! I am thinking of a home birth too Mjim. I was told I can't have baby at a seperate birth unit, but can have it on birth unit attached to labour wing at hospital (midwife led). Like you, it seems like too much hassle, especially as ds2 arived fast.

MJIM and HMTJ - although I have never personally had a home birth (obviously), my sister did for her first last year. She hired a birthing pool and had a wonderful experience. The midwives were great, we could all be there.

I was very scared, as she's very important to me and I worried something would go wrong, but it was so well managed that even if something had...I know it would have been fine.

If I ever have DC, I think I would have the first in hospital and the second at home, if everything was fine. My sis wouldn't change anything about her experience and it was very positive!!

detoxdiva · 19/07/2008 21:28

Oooh - I'm not even pg yet but you've all got me thinking about a home birth

Had been thinking about this for a while as dd's birth was very straight forward, and as close as you could get to a home birth (but obv in a hospital)i.e just me, dh & midwife - all very quick and easy. A friend of mine had all 3 of hers at home - it just seems such a lovely, calm thing to do! My only concern would be how much home birth experience the mw's have. Have you seen this telegraph.drfoster.co.uk/birthguide/, it gives a load of info about all that stuff

Blimey BB - and I thought I was up early

Your symptoms sound very strange, esp if you don't normally suffer like this

You must be due any day?

I think af will come today - I have been getting some brownish cm since yesterday and my lower stomach just aches - _ I just wish she'd get on with it so I can get down to business with dh asap

Have a lovely Sunday - we're bbq-ing today

WelliesAndPyjamas · 20/07/2008 08:45

home birth? hmm, think I'm too much of a wuss for that! We had a couple of scary moments with DS so I personally can't imagine being far from all medical staff and equipment possible! Yes, I am officially a wuss! I would prbably feel completely differently if DS' birth had gone smoothly. It would probably be a lovely thing to do.

when you testing BB?

Mmmmm BBQ, sounds nice, detoxdiva

how did the birthday go HC?

I'm just wondering if I can get away with having a nap, 20 minutes after getting up! This tiredness is ridiculous . I am made of lead! I was never this bad with DS.

Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday

bluestarlavender · 20/07/2008 09:01

Morning all!

BB - oh, strange symptoms...when are you going to test?? you're CD 28 today aren't you??

DD - I know what you mean. I feel the same way - come on AF get a move on.

Anyhow, this morning my (.)(.) are killing me. I think I've figured out what's causing it though. I bought a couple of new bras recently (same style, different colours) and my (.)(.) are really hurting after I wear them. Clearly they aren't supporting me properly! Mystery over! But gutted about the waste of money and the fact they are quite invisible under clothes

BBQing too today..hope you all have a nice day!!

BSL x

detoxdiva · 20/07/2008 09:41

Well, af is here but also relieved.

Today is officially cd1 of the month of love

ChocolateEclair · 20/07/2008 10:47

hi everyone

detox - sorry the witch got you, but at least you know where you stand now and can get ready for some serious BDing! How long was your cycle in the end then?

BB - blimey, very early riser! I agree your symptoms sound a bit odd?!?!

BSL - BBQ sounds fab, and again symtpoms galore! It could be nothing to do with the bras you know!

HC - hope dd1 had a fab 5th birthday. Bet you are shattered now though! Any sign of the witch in your house?

wellies - sorry you are so tired, but it's all in a good cause!

I was thinking about a home birth when we first started ttc, due to my hospital phobia! I will be interested to see if it works out for any of us!

We are having a very laxy day, car boot sale, roast dinner, packing for hols. I am NOT getting off the sofa for a while!
