Hi guys! Opening a thread for those ttc in the new year! I'll be starting again after an MMC in November, fingers crossed that this'll be a lucky year for all!

@Mash0917 . It is faint for 12 dpo but there is a line there! Do you definitely know when you ovulated? Implantation can take a variable time so you might just have a slow implanter? Does the line have colour in real life? How quickly did it show up?

Hey i hope it’s ok to join. I’m TTC for my 2nd, took 13 cycles with my first. My DD is 2 now… I’m on cycle 2 but technically not counting first as had my coil out on the day I ovulated so didn’t really get a good go. Already feeling not very hopeful given we took so long before, we found out post having our DD that my OH has a varicocele so we don’t know if that impacted us! With my DD I tracked religiously and the month I didn’t and we went on holiday we got pregnant so trying my best not to this time and not over think very symptom but it’s so hard!! I’m anywhere between like 4-6dpo… my Apple Watch usually does wrist temp but it’s been all over the shot this month due to having to get up in the night so much with my toddler!! Maybe it’s telling me not to track! What’s everyone doing for their TWW?

Welcome @Glittertint - it was the same for me, the month I stopped stressing and tracking it happened. Easier said than done though!! Especially with a toddler to chase after. Good luck, I hope 2026 is our year

thank you! It’s so true isn’t it as much as I hated the “just relax” comments! Funnily with my DD I was on my fertile window when we were away and because I was in and out of the pool I couldn’t tell on my EWCM and I took no LH strips with me! It’s that or because we’d agreed to go for testing after holiday I’d sort of given up 🤣

I don't know if I'm actually tracking accurately but my EWCM seems to have stopped today. Flo seems to think I'll ovulate today but I suspect it was a day or two early (which is not an issue). Onwards to the TWW!

I’ve read that sometimes your EWCM can stop just before you ovulate so you could still be today!

I’m feeling very unhopeful about this cycle, feeling more and more like I missed my ovulation window. So what have I done? Ordered pregnancy tests from Amazon to arrive tomorrow! Why? Nobody likes looking at a BFN, I should just wait for AF but no 🤦‍♀️

@HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemythanks for sharing. I am also very confused about my cycle this month as 2 apps say different ovulation dates. This is my first cycle TTC for baby no. 2 and I have no idea if I have ovulated yet (26/27th) or not (tonight/tomorrow).
i will be in the same boat, testing too, despite not knowing and although I know mentally it would be best not too! I’m glad we have this forum to share how we are feeling.

I tried to track ovulation by cervical mucus @BellaStar2020 , but think I missed ovulation by 36 hours 😞. My 2 year old wasn’t sleeping on the right night! And before that I was away!
How are you tracking ovulation? I find apps not very helpful tbh as I have really long cycles. How old is your eldest?

My sleep has been so so poor since my TWW has started, it’s either my toddlers had me up most nights at early hours or I just slept badly probably waiting for my toddler to wake!! I’m now feeling stressed that it’s going to impact any hormones or implantation chance etc, probably being silly

@HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemyi have been using the Natural Cycles app which I was successful with first time round on my DD who is 4 now. It relies on BBT which I did find helped me lots last time. Because I’ve just started again, I don’t have a full months worth of data so it’s been difficult to pinpoint. I do think I have had my ease in temp after ovulation but NC says that it’s still to come?! So I could either be ovulating tomorrow or 4DPO 😂. I have also been putting my temps into CHAT GPT which sad that I have ovulated so am 4DPO. I have had irregular cycles since having my first. But not hugely irregular, between 26-31 days!

That's the worst @Glittertint! My toddler sleeps through the night usually but I feel every tww she starts sleeping horribly 😂the worst was the last time I got pregnant, I barely got any sleep at all

@Anya23 She used to be an amazing sleeper but since we started ttc she’s gotten so bad in early hours or just waking at 5am!! My OH told me to lie in this morning as she only ever wants me in the night which was helpful but not sure how I’d survive with no coffee too! This reassures me that you got pregnant on bad sleep! I guess there would be no siblings if it did impact 🤣

I couldn't sleep last night as I was dreaming that I missed my ovulation window and then when I woke up this morning, my temp had dropped even further so I am nowhere near close to ovulating according to the apps - what is actually wrong with me!!!

@GlittertintI did but that's what ended in an MMC although I think it doesn't have anything to do with it lol! Let's just hope they'll start sleeping more the next year!

@tiutinkerbell have you had many sleep disruptions? This cycle my temp has been all over the shot but chatgpt said that any sleep wakenings can throw it off so I went off EWCM! I’m 6dpo I’ve not even had a consistent rise yet but the days it’s lower is when I’ve slept badly/been woken up!

@Anya23 oh I’m sorry that’s rubbish. Hopefully next year is our year and also we get really good sleep!!
